About: I have taken care of dogs from as small as a chihuahua to as big as a Great Dane! About: I have had a life time of experience of have pets in my life and care for them as a kid and into an adult. I love the fur babies, we currently have two boxers and a cat. I am able to do dog walks, house sitting, and drop ins at times as needed. Let me know if there are any special needs, meds, diet /directions i needed to follow in caring for your pet. I have given oral and injection meds to my own pets and is comfortable doing so. If there is a special routine that you have with your fur baby and would like to keep going while in my care feel free to make me aware of it to make the stay comfortable for them also. Also any schedule you have are welcome too. I generally go by what instruction that are giving by each owner. I have a large yard. It is current not fence in. I do have running cord for my pets so they can move freely round the yard with supervision. I also live near a dog park so daily walks are available. My dogs love car ride too, so those are also include in their stay if they are one who love to ride.

About: I have owned kitties in the past at a very young age, however my first real kitty I have had for almost a year now. He is deaf, harness trained, and very loud. As veteran dog owners, we make regular use of it! Prior to doing Rover, I frequently helped friends and family with their dogs for many years. About: I’ve pet sit for family friends since I was a teenager. I’ve also owned reptiles for the last few years and currently have a bearded dragon, crested gecko, and whites tree frogs. I went to school for animal care and received my degree in Aquarium & Zoo Sciences, as well as a degree in Psychology. About: I have had dogs all my life and spent over 20 years as a Pet Groomer both in a shop and mobile. I have had continued education in cat grooming, dog grooming, skin care, etc. I specialized in senior and anxiety dogs. I have had upward of 9 dogs at one time and they did not all get along. I have also owned a diabetic dog. I also have a Reiki background. Currently I am retired from pet grooming and I own another business that is seasonal therefore my schedule is pretty flexible and my availability is pretty open too. I have a small fenced yard in a low traffic community that is good for walks too. I am familiar with crate training and can accommodate that if needed. I also have gates if access needs to be limited to parts of my house. Example, I do have stairs and can block them if pet is unable to do stairs.

I grew up with small dogs, big dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, and more, each one giving a new experience. All animals have one thing in common, and it’s just wanting to be treated with love and care. With your pet in my hands, they will guaranteed be treated with extra care and will have my patience. From the excited and cuddly to the shy and reserved, each animal will be respected and have their boundaries. On weekdays I am usually available between 8:00am and 7pm. Sundays are better for times later than 7pm. Boarding days depend on my upcoming schedule so if you are looking for that, please talk with me about it beforehand. Sitting will usually be done at your home. If you would like me to take one of your animals into my own, please talk with me about it first beforehand. If you’re animal is taken into my home, they will be separated from all other animals and will be made sure they have plenty of stuff to do and room to do it in, as well as plenty of outdoor space. I can follow any instructions needed for them and your home. I love meeting new creatures and my goal is to be sure that you don't have to worry about a thing while you're gone.
About: I was raised on a farm so I have experience with a variety of animals. My family has also had multiple cats, dogs, and small animals who I’ve had a hand in raising and caring for. I don’t have any of my own pets to take care of due to my living arrangements and plenty of free time so your animals are sure to get all my affection and attention. I’m comfortable with any types of cages, leashes, and harnesses and know what kinds of behaviors to look for to know when these are necessary.
About: Your dog will be in great caring hands whether you need simple dog walking and a litttle extra TLC or something a little more in depth like obedience training and new challenging tricks that you may desire help with. I am here to help you have the ideal pooch. They will get special love and care. I have trained so many dogs over the years . I love to work with all animals. I have a special connection with them. About: I’ve always had animals my entire life of all sorts and prefer their company. Naturally animals are comfortable in my presence. I am basically Snow White. Pet care is a regular part of my routine that I could easily adapt to your requirements. I work a few hour during the week for a few days and have plenty of time to accommodate your needs. I have fenced yard if necessary for run time. But I can make time to visit the home of your pets for their comfort ability.
About: I’ve had and taken care of cats and other animals since a very young age, my friends and family come to me to check on, feed and play with their pets. I currently work mornings 7am to 4pm, I’m home the rest of the time when im not at work. There is also another person in the home to help out during those hours! I have a fenced in yard and other dogs in the house to keep your pets company, I can easily cage or separate your pets if needed.

“Melissa is a true saint! My family was on a 2.5 week road trip with our 11 month old Akita puppy, Frida, when we decided to make a stop a the Great Blue Heron festival in Sherman, NY. Being on the road and leaving our puppy with a stranger seemed intimidating, especially considering her shy nature, but Melissa was great! Frida was very reserved with Melissa at first, but eventually warmed up. Melissa sent pictures and videos that showed she was having a great time. She went above and beyond to make sure Frida had access to activities that she enjoyed and even set up play dates with other young dogs. I am so so grateful we found Melissa and we were able to leave our pup with someone who put so much love and care into her time with Frida.”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the majority of my life. My current furry companion is a 5 year old Golden Retriever and two cats. I have cared for family pets and take in friends animals for short and long term. I’m currently on summer break from working in the schools, so I am very flexible schedule-wise. I live in the country and have lots of space to walk pets and enjoy the outdoors. My pets are sociable and love other people and animals. We can enjoy the outdoors, snuggle up inside, and just enjoy furry family members. Looking forward to quality time and more pets to love.
