About: Hi there! I've been doing canine caretaking on the Rover platform since 2023. My property is a located on the same street as the McClelland Dog Park, a 5-minute walk. As veteran dog owners, we make regular use of it! Prior to doing Rover, I frequently helped friends and family with their dogs for many years. About: I’ve had and taken care of cats and other animals since a very young age, my friends and family come to me to check on, feed and play with their pets. I currently work mornings 7am to 4pm, I’m home the rest of the time when im not at work. There is also another person in the home to help out during those hours! I have a fenced in yard and other dogs in the house to keep your pets company, I can easily cage or separate your pets if needed.

Pet care is a regular part of my routine that I could easily adapt to your requirements. I work a few hour during the week for a few days and have plenty of time to accommodate your needs. I have fenced yard if necessary for run time. But I can make time to visit the home of your pets for their comfort ability.
“Melissa is a true saint! My family was on a 2.5 week road trip with our 11 month old Akita puppy, Frida, when we decided to make a stop a the Great Blue Heron festival in Sherman, NY. Being on the road and leaving our puppy with a stranger seemed intimidating, especially considering her shy nature, but Melissa was great! Frida was very reserved with Melissa at first, but eventually warmed up. Melissa sent pictures and videos that showed she was having a great time. She went above and beyond to make sure Frida had access to activities that she enjoyed and even set up play dates with other young dogs. I am so so grateful we found Melissa and we were able to leave our pup with someone who put so much love and care into her time with Frida.”
