About: I have had a life time of experience of have pets in my life and care for them as a kid and into an adult. I love the fur babies, we currently have two boxers and a cat. I am able to do dog walks, house sitting, and drop ins at times as needed. Let me know if there are any special needs, meds, diet /directions i needed to follow in caring for your pet. I have given oral and injection meds to my own pets and is comfortable doing so. If there is a special routine that you have with your fur baby and would like to keep going while in my care feel free to make me aware of it to make the stay comfortable for them also. Also any schedule you have are welcome too. I generally go by what instruction that are giving by each owner. I have a large yard. It is current not fence in. I do have running cord for my pets so they can move freely round the yard with supervision. I also live near a dog park so daily walks are available. My dogs love car ride too, so those are also include in their stay if they are one who love to ride.

About: Hi there! I've been doing canine caretaking on the Rover platform since 2023. My property is a located on the same street as the McClelland Dog Park, a 5-minute walk. As veteran dog owners, we make regular use of it! Prior to doing Rover, I frequently helped friends and family with their dogs for many years. Nearly everyone I know has pets and I've hosted dozens in my home. My clients love the close proximity to a public park with trails. Currently I have 2 dogs - Ellie and Bishop. My yard is fully fenced and your dog will enjoy plenty of outside play time with Ellie and Bishop, as well as trail walks and trips to the dog park. I also live a 5-minute drive from the nearest veterinary clinic, and I have room for crates. I also offer professional photography services for your pet for an extra fee. Ask about it during your dog's stay if interested! I work a regular day job, but it's very close to home so I come home daily for lunch to and for the dogs and run them in the yard. Off on weekends with fairly open schedule. Ellie and Bishop are exercised daily and worked with often, and are very well behaved with both dogs and people. The backyard is directly connected to a public park with trails. Yard gates are secured with locks and monitored with cameras.

About: I’ve pet sit for family friends since I was a teenager. I’ve also owned reptiles for the last few years and currently have a bearded dragon, crested gecko, and whites tree frogs. I went to school for animal care and received my degree in Aquarium & Zoo Sciences, as well as a degree in Psychology. I also took up minors in American Sign Language and Animal-Assisted Health and Education. During my college years I completed two separate 400+ hour internships with over forty different species of domestic and exotic animals. I also completed a 52 hour animal care practicum with a licensed dog trainer. Other required courses included an animal care class, dog training course, and cat training course. In addition to my coursework I was an employee of, and eventually student manager of, my campus aquatics lab. I have now been a zookeeper for going on a year, which has made me comfortable with administering various topical and oral medications. I consistently have two weekdays off, on which I am 100% available for your pet care needs :) I currently rent, so I am unable to care for animals in my home. About: I have had dogs all my life and spent over 20 years as a Pet Groomer both in a shop and mobile. I have had continued education in cat grooming, dog grooming, skin care, etc. I specialized in senior and anxiety dogs. I have had upward of 9 dogs at one time and they did not all get along. I have also owned a diabetic dog. I also have a Reiki background. Currently I am retired from pet grooming and I own another business that is seasonal therefore my schedule is pretty flexible and my availability is pretty open too. I have a small fenced yard in a low traffic community that is good for walks too. I am familiar with crate training and can accommodate that if needed. I also have gates if access needs to be limited to parts of my house. Example, I do have stairs and can block them if pet is unable to do stairs.

“Our little guy, Chase, stayed with Rachel for a week. Chase was so well taken care of & when we went to get him, I think he thought he’d been adopted by Rachel! He loved it at her house! We will definitely be using Rachel again to dog sit Chase. She is a dog lover & we have every confidence in using her to care for Chase again. Thank you Rachel.”
About: I’ve had and taken care of cats and other animals since a very young age, my friends and family come to me to check on, feed and play with their pets. I currently work mornings 7am to 4pm, I’m home the rest of the time when im not at work. There is also another person in the home to help out during those hours! I have a fenced in yard and other dogs in the house to keep your pets company, I can easily cage or separate your pets if needed.
“Fynn had a great stay with Megan. She was very warm and friendly. Her whole family spent time playing with him and walking him. She took him to a doggy festival and agility course and even had a little birthday celebration for him with a sombrero and pup cup, so cute. I appreciate all the special attention he received. I would highly recommend Megan to anyone who wants their pup to enjoy their time away too!”
“Melissa is a true saint! My family was on a 2.5 week road trip with our 11 month old Akita puppy, Frida, when we decided to make a stop a the Great Blue Heron festival in Sherman, NY. Being on the road and leaving our puppy with a stranger seemed intimidating, especially considering her shy nature, but Melissa was great! Frida was very reserved with Melissa at first, but eventually warmed up. Melissa sent pictures and videos that showed she was having a great time. She went above and beyond to make sure Frida had access to activities that she enjoyed and even set up play dates with other young dogs. I am so so grateful we found Melissa and we were able to leave our pup with someone who put so much love and care into her time with Frida.”

“This was my first experience using Rover and I am pleasantly surprised! Julia was very accommodating with our very last minute need for doggy care. She welcomed us over the day before for a meet & greet on short notice and basically let our Addie just roam around to sniff things out. She sent updates through the weekend along with cute pictures of our pup with her kids. She also took Addie for walks and played with her. I would highly recommend her anytime she’s available and I know I’ll be asking her to watch Addie in the future!”
