I live right by Bird Park and in a very walkable neighborhood, and can accommodate 2-3 walks a day - but if your dog is happier cuddling/sleeping inside, that’s okay too! I currently work from home two days a week (Monday and Friday) so I will be available 24/7 on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. I request that you give me your dogs normal schedule, and I will follow it exactly to make sure that they are comfortable and happy. I am available after 3pm Tuesdays through Thursdays. Your dog will be the only pet in my home, and my top priority! I require a meet and greet before boarding to ensure we are the right fit. I will keep you updated with daily pics of your pup. I have a large crate in case your dog is crate-trained, but as I work from home they will just be hanging with me on the couch or dog bed - wherever they are more comfortable. My home is clean and free from any hazards to your pup, and I will follow your exact household rules regarding feeding and anything else. My previous dog who has now crossed the rainbow bridge was reactive and dog-selective, so I am very experienced on keeping your dog safe while on walks and reading their body language. About: I've had a lot of experience with high energy dogs, and I currently have a 4-year old Siberian husky. I am happy to bring her to play if your dog wants an energy release or I can come solo! I also run with my husky in the mornings and would be happy to run with your dog if they are comfortable with other dogs! I work from home full time and have a pretty flexible schedule! Just let me know what time you need me to come and I'll block it in my calendar. I like to walk the dog for at least 1.5-3 miles depending on the energy level, but that's coming from a husky mom. “Nelia and Brett were GREAT! We have a very energetic dog and they made us feel so comfortable leaving him for 4 days with their family. Nelia sent me pictures everyday showing us know how much fun Nipsey was having. I know they treated him like family and that made us so happy. “Raeann took such good care of my chihuahua Mojo while I was away! It’s the only time I’ve ever had someone else watching him where I didn’t worry about him constantly. She sent me multiple pictures/updates each day and I could tell he was relaxed and engaged. I appreciated that she checked with me if certain outings were ok (like taking him on trips in the car) and she made sure his important instructions were followed. He was clearly VERY loved and had all of his emotional and physical needs met. He settled right back in at home without any “where were you how could you have left me” like he has in the past before Raeann. Thank you again!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life but my first job years ago in high school was at a veterinary hospital/ boarding. Because I was still in high school I was mainly in the kennels taking care of all the wonderful fur babies while their parents were out of town. Also, after informing the doctors that I was aspiring to become a vet, they allowed me to put on some scrubs and help out occasionally. I quickly realized that I was going to find a different way to care for animals 😂 Since then I have raised my own dogs and cared for animals of friends and family and have worked a few jobs at doggie daycares. I am an early riser because of my job so if your fur baby is too, they will fit right in! I work construction so I will be out for a portion of the day, but my wife works from home so her and our two pups will always be there to keep your baby company and make them feel right at home! At my house, no where is off limits for a furry friend. We can do anything to accommodate your fur babies to make sure they’re comfortable with their stay and you can have peace of mind that they will be happy and safe while you are away!
“We had Lauren take care of our dog, Reyna, and all went really well. She sent daily pictures of Reyna on walks, interacting with her dog, playing with toys and just chillin'. She also replied to any questions we had on a timely manner. Lauren relayed that Reyna got along with her dog, Charlie, and the other dog she was watching, Hannah, really well. Lauren seemed like a really kind, laid-back person, and so did her fiancée, and we would most definitely consider leaving Reyna with her again anytime we are out of town. I recommend Lauren to anyone that's looking for a kind and responsible dog-sitter.”
