About: As a child and teen, I helped my mom breed, raise, and train golden retrievers. As an adult and family man, I cared for my dog "Beyoncé" and cat "Kitty." The house is kept clean and because of my pet history I keep things off the floor and food safe from pets. There’s a nice yard but no fence. I have my three boys staying here every other week/end. They're animal lovers too, but in case separation is needed, my bedroom or the finished basement can be used to contain a pet when the kids are around. For pet sitting and dog walking, I have a leash and a fanny pack. As a runner, it's a joy to take energetic dogs on the trail. For runs & walks, I use my own private access to the little gunpowder falls river woods with a long walkable waterfall, the local NCR trail, or the cemetery across the street (1/4mi laps).

Everyday is an adventure and we wouldn't know what to do without him. Daily meals, walks, play time, potty breaks and cuddles are our everyday events. We make sure your pet becomes part of our family pack. Special dietary needs and medications are also addressed with your pets needs. I’m retired and a stay at home doggie mom. Your pet will become part of our “pack”’ and feel right at home with our dogs. About: I have been around animals my whole life and I have 2 pets of my own. I feed and take them on walks every day I have 2 pets of my own. A dog named Reese and a cat named Sawyer. I am able to come to someone's home also. I also work in the evenings Wednesday through Sunday so I am able to care for animals in the mornings and all day on the days that I am off from my regular job which is Monday and Tuesday. If you need an overnight sitter I can do that as well. My schedule at work is usually 7 hrs and I would be able to come stay a night after I get off work. We can discuss that at a later time upon booking if needed. I take my dog out on the leash because of the place that I live at doesn't have a fenced in yard. Watch them closely when not on leash. I also have kennels that can separate them if needed.

Ive had multiple dogs in my life and all have lived to be 13+ years old, so I know how to care for puppies up to senior adult dogs as well as any Medical needs from administration of medication, eye drops, supplements etc. I grew up with multiple family dogs so I have experience with all different breeds and sizes. I am also Animal first aid and CPR certified. I am currently working part time right now, so I have plenty of openings in my schedule to take care of all your pets needs. I have a nice size yard with neighbors on both sides who have fenced in yards so you Furr baby will have plenty of safe and secure room to explore, I also have a gated in kitchen area of my home and have a crate I can set up as well if requested, I also do allow pets on the furniture they are family after all!

She responded promptly and we scheduled a great meet and greet with her two dogs Duece and Daisy who are very friendly. “Benny has been to Rodney’s house twice- once for doggy day care and once for boarding. He had a blast there and had tons of fun romping around with Rodney’s pups. Rodney accommodated a slightly different pickup due to ice and snow, which I greatly appreciated. Rodney also didn’t have a problem wiping off Benny’s paws (he had an allergic reaction to some treats right before he went), and his paws looked better when we picked him up. At other boarding facilities when this has happened (we are constantly fighting his allergies as we learn what he can/can’t eat), he has always come home in worse shape than when we left. Not at Rodney’s house. He received loving care during his stay and it showed! We also got tons of pictures from Benny’s stay. Thanks Rodney!”
