I have a fur baby, a German Shepherd who’s the sweetest boy and would love to have some friends. I have a fenced backyard where your pup can run. I’ll also take them on walks & give them lots of snuggles! I am currently available all day! So I am able to give your pup undivided attention and love. I will take them on walks and play in the backyard with them as well! I have a fenced in yard and a fur bay of my own to keep them company. I have a crate if need be as well.

About: I have three doggies of my own and I love them with all my heart. I have experience walking feeding and playing with my own dogs as well as neighbors and friends dogs. I’m also comfortable with baths and distributing medications. I trained both of my dogs when they were puppies so if I’m watching a puppy and you need me to practice some simple tricks with him/her I’m able to do that for you. I work full time 9-5 so I am available for early morning walks and evening visits!! I am always available Saturdays and Sundays after church! I’m very vigilant when letting dogs outside even if a client has a fenced in yard. If there’s no fence I will take the dogs out on a leash. I have a good memory and I write important things down, especially special instructions you may have for me to take care of your furry friend. For boarding: I currently live in a small apartment in a city apartment building, but there are plenty of nearby outdoor options for dogs. There are sidewalks all around the building for regular walks, a grassy area directly across the street, and a small patch of grass behind the building for quick potty breaks. Kirby Park is also right across the street, which is perfect for longer walks, fresh air, and exercise in a safe, open space. There are no animals living with me currently and I will only board one dog at a time, unless they come from the same family!

About: My husband and I are animal lovers in general and dog lovers in particular. We always worry when boarding our own dogs and, now that we've retired, we wanted to provide a "home like" boarding service for other dog lovers. We have 2 rooms dedicated for the dogs to roam free. Sofa for lounging and television or music available during their stay. Bright sunlight and large windows. We have a large kennel that is outside and the dogs are free to come and go through a doggie door in our kitchen. We have many years experience caring for dogs and our family currently includes 2 bichon Frise. They are both peaceful and friendly and love meeting new dog friends. We wanted to provide a reasonably priced animal boarding service close to home. We are located in Hunlock Creek, 25 minutes from Dallas or Wilkes-Barre, 15 minutes from Nanticoke. Drop off time is anytime from 9AM on and Pick up time is by noon or you must schedule another day. If special times are needed let us know. We will also board birds and small pets at a lower rate. Ask us. Please visit us to see our home ! We are retired and available most days full time - check the calendar. All boarders roam free during the day and sleep on floor or in bed you provide at night. Feedings and treats on daily schedule. Daily exercise in yard if good weather. Dogs roam our secured house freely. Will either be on leash or on zip run if in yard. If dogs need to be separated we have a room we use for that purpose. If your dog likes to sleep in kennel please bring with you or we will provide a kennel or cage (extra fee).

About: I was 10 when I first convinced my mom to let me have a cat and I have never looked back. I helped my local shelters by volunteering and fostering when I was 10. Went on the being the primary care taker to my childhood cats as they entered their senior years. This included giving them pills and liquid meditation as well topical wound care. Now I help my cats by occasionally giving baths, nail trims, teeth brushing, and some anxiety medications. Cats are such silly and sweet little guys who deserve all the care are respect we can give them. I can’t wait to meet yours and help give them their best life.

On the practical side: when I picked Willow up, her litter box was emptied and spotless, all the extra food (and even a bit of litter in the bottom of the box) were returned, her dishes were also spotless, and she was as happy and friendly as ever. My schedule is pretty packed, but I will make accommodations with you to accommodate the needs of your furbabies or ones with scales. If you work mid shift or over night and need somewhere for your four legged children to go while you work we have just the place for them. I love to play and cuddle with my dogs and would love the opportunity to have your love one stay with me in a loving home environment. About: I have taken care of animals since childhood. I have taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fancy mice, african soft furred rats, small birds, aquatic turtles, fresh water fish, and ball pythons. I have known since childhood that I wanted to care for animals. During childhood I spent my free time volunteering at my local animal shelter. Helping clean animal pens and crates. During high school I volunteered at my local animal hospital as well as the local emergency animal hospital. As of recently I have been volunteering at a senior dog rescue. I love being able to help animals and I can’t wait to help care for your furbaby(ies). I currently am a stay at home pet parent and am looking to fill my free time with more animals. Plus I love to go hiking and always find it better to with a furry companion. My yard is unfenced but I enjoyed taking my dog on as many walks she wants. Since I was a kid, I could never walk past a hurt or stray animal without stopping to help. I’ve fed and looked after stray cats and dogs, reunited lost pets with their families, and even taken in animals until they were safe. One of my earliest memories is rescuing an injured bird from kids who were trying to hurt it and nursing it back to health. I’m currently a senior high school student that has lots of free time after school so doing pet care after my school business will be no such problem at all! Every since I was young I’ve always had love for animals and now that I can willingly take care of them for people I’m need of help I’m super excited to show the skills and care I offer to their pets!
About: I have been around dogs all of my life. My family always had dogs. I have three dogs on my own. I will take care of your dog as if it was mine! I currently have a full-time job. About: I've grown up around labs since my grandparents were breeders. All my aunts have had labs (usually more than one at a time), so I've gotten the chance to look after them and give them walks when they were away on vacation. My most recent experience was with my roommate's St Bernard. Optimus is the largest dog I've ever cared for let alone lived with. He's been a ton of work considering his previous owner's unfortunate lack of care. We've dealt with ear infections and bulking up to a healthy weight. Throughout all, patience and determination prevailed and he's our big buddy. I'm currently working three 12-hour shifts each week providing me evenings on work days and full days twice during week and all weekend for caring for cats. I'm unavailable Wednesday evenings and weekend mornings for religious reasons. I have a clean home vacuumed every morning with plenty of windows for looking out of. Scratching posts are in every room with plenty of toys and treats to go around. I love petting cats and giving belly rubs if that's their thing.

I tend to avoid using "alpha" proving tactics unless it is necessary for my or your pets safety (ex. scruffing, using chokers tightly, using the shock option over the buzz option on an electric collar). I see these options as only being necessary when the pet is acceptionally aggressive and may hurt myself, itself, or others. I'm also very cautious around doors as I know many pets would take the opportunity to bolt it into the street if they could. I can handle bruises and scratches well from excited pets! I'm usually always covered in them from my own fur babies.

Animals are always a part of my life in one way or another. I work from home with flexibility so as long as your local to me I can come take care of your pets when your not home to do so. About: Hi! I’m Julie. I grew up on a hobby farm surrounded by a menagerie of animals from a young age. Everything from chickens and goats to rabbits, cats, and dogs, and the occasional bit of wildlife, were welcome in my families home. As a high school student I became increasingly involved in agriculture and milked cows and cared for livestock. This turned into a love that led me to college in rural Maine where I earned a degree in Agriculture and Sustainability, all while working on a dairy farm each day. Currently, I homeschool my two children and am blessed with the ability to work from home. We live on a wooded property and have access to a small lake which is boarded by a wooded dirt road. Additionally, we have a small walking trail system directly on our property. We share our home with a Newfie doodle, Arlo, who is 1.5 years old, a Sulcuta tortoise, and a cat that lives under the bed. We have a large red deck with a fenced in space off of this for easy bathroom access and unleashed roaming space for your dog. I work from home and homeschool my children. Our days have built in flexibility and can be arranged to accommodate the needs of any pet staying with us. We enjoy time outdoors, and can often be found working remotely or “out schooling” from our backyard or a hiking trail. In our home, the pets are people too (and we will narrate their thoughts based on their expressions 🤪). Pets are allowed on the furniture and in all rooms. We have a large front porch for slow mornings and evenings that stretch well past sunset. We also have a large deck in the rear which has a fenced area off of it to allow plenty of space for unattended bathroom breaks or unleashed space to roam. My children are well versed in animal care and also understand giving space to a new animal, calm energy, etc. I will always setup a meet and greet prior to booking to ensure everyone feels comfortable and welcome. Medications can be distributed, and special diets can be managed.
