About: I’ve been around dogs of all different sizes and breeds since I was a young kid. I have always loved dogs and wanted my house full of them when I got older. This gives me a chance to care for all the dogs I’ve always wanted to. I have history with dogs that have different temperaments and know how to handle dogs of all different energy levels. We have an upstairs and downstairs so there is room for a crate if your pet feels more relaxed in there own space. I do also have a large crate unused if you can’t bring your own! I have the ability and practice of giving dogs medications if needed so anything your dog may need while staying with me will be no problem at all! About: Taking care of dogs and cats has been my specialty since I was a child! I have had 8 dogs of all kinds, as well as 10 cats, not including my grandmother’s. My family and neighbors would trust me to feed and water their pets while they were away. I am great at crating puppies and socializing feral/young kittens. About: I’ve had a heart for animals since I was young, and have owned both cats and dogs - ranging from low-energy Pugs to high-energy Boxers - for the majority of my life. My pet care experience mostly includes sitting for friends and family members, and caring for my own dog, a 6-year old Mini Poodle mix. I also have some experience working with reactive dogs, as my dog deals with reactivity issues. The best days for me to care for your pet are Friday-Sunday, although I may also have some flexibility on Monday and Wednesday evenings. For now, I am only able to accept a maximum of 2 visits or walks per day. I thrive on routines and like to keep somewhat of a normal routine for my dog. This includes feedings, giving medications, multiple walks, and enrichment activities (in or outside, depending on weather). My dog has anxiety and spring/summer are the most difficult for her, so I keep on music or background sounds while in the house, and make sure she is always on a leash when outside. I am willing and open to following any routines you have for your pet, however, I am not comfortable with electric fences or shock collars. I always have my phone easily accessible and am a quick communicator, so I can provide pictures, texts, or calls as requested if you’d like to check up on your fur baby.
