About: I have a very friendly mini labradoodle who LOVES visitors and one cat who is also very comfortable with dogs visiting my home (he’s also very happy to stay independently in other areas of the home if needed). I have three young children who live with me 50% of the time, who are also very high energy and love running around with dogs. Since I work from home full time, I’m able to walk dogs multiple times during the day and don’t have to crate during the day. Large three floor home, small yard, very close to multiple open outdoor spaces for dogs to run. I work from home full-time, so have lots of flexibility to care for pets! No need to crate daily, and can offer multiple daily walks. I don’t have a fenced yard, but I have a lead for those who want to stay outside for a bit and several leashes for short bathroom breaks. I also live very close to several outdoor spaces for dogs (ie parks).

About: I grew up on a 25 acre cow farm. As a child I had every pet imaginable. As a mother I allowed my children to experience owning pets. My 2 youngest grown children have dogs and they are my grand dogs lol. We are a horse family. I have a degree in education and have been a teacher for ever. If I can be trusted with children then you can certainly trust me with you pets. I currently don’t have any pets due to where I live. The landlord is strict on the no pets policy. But i have a private access to hundreds of acres for your animals to roam free and to explore. to be the animals that they are without intrusion from others. I spent a few years taking care of Fonzie and gidget 2 dogs from family memebers. One being a bulldog with many issues and the other a corgi. Cats too. I have always been the dependable Neighbor and was always asked to watch the neighbors animals while they were away. I know how hard it is to find a caring person to watch your pet, instead of a kennel. I also have had to give my first dog insulin shots 2xs a day, also have given her medicine daily. Also give medicine/supplements to my current pets. Let me be that person.

“Charissa, Shawn and family, provided EXCEPTIONAL care for our boy. He had such a great time that all he wanted to do was nap when he got home. (Which is fantastic as he is a high energy boy!) They had to navigate losing power to a horrible storm and yet still kept him safe and cool and provided updates as they could. It really felt like leaving him with family! 10/10 will book again!”
