About: I've been a pet owner for the last 11 years. My 2 adult cats and my anxious senior dog at home are the lights of my life. Due to the ages and conditions of my own pets, I'm familiar with administering oral medications to both dogs and cats. My friends and family regularly rely on me to care for their fur babies when they're out of town. I'm currently taking time away from full-time work, so I have a flexible schedule and can be available any time to care for your pets. As a pet owner, I understand the importance of having the peace of mind knowing your pets are in good hands. During in-home visits I diligently monitor their activity as well as any changes in behavior, health, etc.

I have two cats that I rescued from my local shelter, they were the most difficult to place because of prior abuse before coming to the shelter. We were updated with text and pictures from Chelsea each day she had Rascal. One of our concerns was Rascal doesn't like being crated and Chelsea let us up front she doesn't crate dogs. She allows them to be on her furniture and has dog beds for them to lay on as well. She takes them out for walks and potty breaks and Rascal seems extremely happy when he was with Chelsea and her family. If we lived in the area we would use Chelsea again and again. I was a veterinarian assistant for one year and then became an adoptions Manager for three years. This was the most fulfilling experience of my adult life, being able to help animals and the community daily. I recently lost my closest companion, Xander, about a month ago. He was 13 years old and I had him since he walked into the humane society at two months old. Through him I gained even more experience with aging dogs, medical care and many behavioral changes as he aged. While using positive reinforcement training we navigated 6 military moves, life adaptions to aging and the introduction of two kittens. I will take all this experience and use it to provide the same amount of love an attention for you furry family members as I did for Xander. I am currently unemployed and have most days free as well as can stay over night or board animals in my home. I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work with any clients schedule as needed. I currently only have two cats in my home, so I’m able to provide boarding for cat friendly animals. I have a fenced in back yard and am usually not gone from the house for more than four hours. About: I have a wide variety of experience with all sorts of animals. I’ve had large and small dogs, cats, rodents, amphibians, and lizards, I even had a pot belly pig, sheep & duck as a child. I also volunteered at a local vet when I was a teenager and gained a lot of hands on experience caring for many types of animals! I’m a stay at home mom and I homeschool my two teenage daughters. “Krista has hosted our lab retriever, Ellie, twice. Both times were fantastic. Krista is always very easy to communicate with! She is great with dogs. It’s nice that our dog can socialize and play while she stays with Krista and her family. I also appreciate how she always has Ellie‘s things packed and ready to go when I come for pick up- it makes drop off and pick up quick and easy. We will definitely rebook with her in the future. “Bentley stayed with this family for 9 days, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Typically, he only eats once a day when I’m away, but this time, he ate twice daily, which says everything about how comfortable and cared for he felt. They kept me updated with photos throughout his stay, and it was clear he was being treated like part of the family. He even bonded with their dog, which made it that much more special. The biggest moment for me? When they dropped him off, he actually cried when they left. That told me all I needed to know. I genuinely feel like Bentley has a second family now. About: I have been passionate about dogs ever since I was a child but because experienced working with dogs and cats (and some bunnies) while working for the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County. I was a veterinarian assistant for one year and then became an adoptions Manager for three years. This was the most fulfilling experience of my adult life, being able to help animals and the community daily. I recently lost my closest companion, Xander, about a month ago. He was 13 years old and I had him since he walked into the humane society at two months old. Through him I gained even more experience with aging dogs, medical care and many behavioral changes as he aged. While using positive reinforcement training we navigated 6 military moves, life adaptions to aging and the introduction of two kittens. I will take all this experience and use it to provide the same amount of love an attention for you furry family members as I did for Xander. I am currently unemployed and have most days free as well as can stay over night or board animals in my home. I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work with any clients schedule as needed. I currently only have two cats in my home, so I’m able to provide boarding for cat friendly animals. I have a fenced in back yard and am usually not gone from the house for more than four hours. I also am available for staying over nights at clients houses for a more comfortable experience for everyone in the family.

This was our 1st experience with a stranger caring for our pets and we were extremely happy with Michelle and her family. She often sent photos and videos of our pets playing with her dogs and also her sweet little girls. They have a large fenced in back yard for the dogs to run and play.
