About: Aside from my own pets over the years, I’ve also provided care and comfort to pets of family and friends. Whether in my home or yours, I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I know how hard it is to find a safe place for our fur babies when we have to travel. Our pittie mutt, Hank, can’t wait to meet your pups! I recently retired after 36 years of teaching and have lots of free time to care for your fur babies. We have a large fenced in deck (and pool for our swimmers). Our 12 acres are not fenced but are cleared for easy walks, on or off lead as desired. Our home sits well off the main road. We’re not opposed to taking pups for rides in our side by side. House trained dogs have freedom in our home. We’re suckers who allow pets on furniture and provide all the love and cuddles needed to make them comfortable. We have plenty of room for crates if your pup is more comfortable in one. In your home, I will follow your house rules. Depending on location, I can come and visit or stay overnight. I can bring mail and packages in for you and take care of your plants. 🪴

“Whether it is your first time using rover or 100th time using rover, if Bill and Emma are available look no further and book ASAP. It was our first time using Rover and we, and our 1 year old playful mutt could not have had a better experience. They were flexible, responsive and attentive. The only thing you’ll have to worry about it your pet not wanting to leave (kidding). Thank you Bill and Emma for a seamless experience, we hope our paths cross again!”

“Kayla was excellent! She was a great pet sitter for my cat. She communicated with me through out the weekend when I was away and I felt so comfortable leaving my cat under her care! Would recommend her services to a friend”

About: I’ve pet sat for family members but I’ve also and still currently pet sit for previous teachers. I’ve done an internship at a vet clinic. I completed boces which made me a certified veterinary assistant. I worked at the SPCA while finishing up college. Volunteered at Tanglewood Nature Center. Depending on my work schedule I spend as much time as possible outside of work with your pets. I don’t leave them alone for long at all. I’m easy going, my dog gets crated when I’m not home. I will make sure nothing is sitting out that could potentially harm an animal

“Valkyrie enjoyed her time, Mika didn't have to take the garbage of cat litter out to the trashcan and she went above and beyond. Will be using her again when I go out of town for long times!!”

“Staci took very good care of my two cats. We had her do two visits a day and she was very prompt and you could almost set your watch by her. She followed the feed and care instructions to the letter and even went above and beyond to make sure Oliver, who has CKD, was comfortable. I would recommend Staci if you're looking for a good reliable pet sitter.”

“Cassandra did an amazing job taking care of my 3 cats. She was very quick to respond if i had any question or concerns and showed real genuine care for my animals. She was my first sitter on Rover so i was kind of nervous about the whole process but she really made everything very easy and i was able to focus on my vacation and what i needed to get done.”

About: I have always gone to great lengths to ensure that my cats have the best life possible. From cleaning their litter boxes twice a day, to making sure they are receiving healthy stimulation throughout the day. I plan to do the same with any feline friend that I am fortunate enough to spend time with.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all age and sizes since I was a child. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to do anything their pet needs while they’re away. In the future I’m looking to take a dog training course and slow transition into that as a full time job. Every morning I wake up and immediately tend to the dogs and let them outside to use the bathroom and play around, then we come Inside to eat breakfast to start the day. We go outside about 3x daily to potty and play. I have a big privacy fenced in yard for play time. I have 4 dogs of my own. However I typically do not let them converse with my boarding dogs unless known that they are friendly.
About: I am a huge animal lover with professional experience as a dog walker/sitter. Right now my schedule is pretty flexible. Ideally, I would like to find a few dogs that would like to be walked throughout the week or checked on. I have a 10 + years experience dog sitting short/long term. I'm able to provide great references for the pets I've cared for in the past! I am energetic, fun, and easy to get along with. I like to make the most out of our time together! I like to be outdoors as much as possible. If your dog is comfortable, I would love to take your dog to events, the dog park, and short hikes. Your dog will love the experience I will provide! Dogs usually immediately like me and feel comfortable around me. Dogs of all ages and sizes welcome! I'm looking forward to meeting you and your fue babies! I am currently working part-time. I have plenty of time, as well as a flexible schedule, to attend to your pet with my undivided attention. I pride myself on treating clients pets the same as my own, with lots of love and affection! I am respectful of my clients homes, as well as their desired schedules.

“Amanda was great! Winter was crazy and happy as usual when I picked her up from daycare with Amanda so it looked like she had a good time there and was a tired girl on the way home.”

“Janet was great, has a perfect setup and my princess had a fabulous time. I got daily updates with a picture and it was so reassuring to know she was being taken care of so well. I’m not sure she wanted to come home after having a week of playtime with her dogs. Thanks so much!”

“We can’t say enough great things about our doggy daycare experience! From day one, the communication has been incredible, we receive tons of pictures and thoughtful updates that truly give us peace of mind. It’s clear how much care and attention goes into every day. Spencer has also been so flexible and accommodating with our schedules when things come up, which we really appreciate. Most importantly, Xena absolutely loves going there! She gets so excited and comes home happy and tired every time. The socialization she’s getting has been amazing, especially as a puppy. It’s been such great preparation for her development and confidence. We’re so grateful to have found someone we trust completely with our girl!”

About: I actively foster dogs/puppies on a consistent basis for several years. I've worked with the same Animal Rescue for a long period of time and have experience with many different situations. With the Rescue I regularly handle different scenarios and medical needs, from new born pups to seniors! I'm comfortable with all shapes, sizes, and medical history. Most temperaments I have lots of experience with as well. I work from home full-time. I'm home all day every day Monday-Friday. My weekends only consist of a few errands making me gone for no longer than 4-5 hours at a time. I have a 7ft tall, fully fenced, back yard. I can kennel a dog if needed, but generally they would be out hanging with me. No dog will be left unattended, inside or outside, for long periods of time. I have two adult dogs in the home that can be introduced or remain separate if needed. I also have a 6yr old in the home that loves and is respectful of all animals.
About: I'm a dog mom of two. I love dogs and go out of my way to care for them, spoil them, and make them feel loved. I am capable of watching other pets outside of the norm. I have experience with fish, reptiles, guinea pigs, bunnies, etc. Just send me a message and we can discuss! I work full time on a hybrid schedule. When I'm not at work I enjoy spending time with dogs. I have open availability to allow dogs in my home or to drop in to your home. I'm excited to meet some new furry friends! The pet that comes into my home has free rein. I ensure to treat them as my own, giving them snuggles, treats, and daily walks. If you prefer drop ins, I am also available to do so. Just let me know your dogs schedule and what works for you!
About: I've loved caring for pets for family and friends over the years. Moved away from home so looking to keep that same experience around here. I'm generally off on Sundays and Mondays for work, and live close enough for potty breaks and I make my own schedule if enough notice is given. I have a fenced in yard which has been home to dogs the size of a Great Pyrenees down to a Yorkshire Terrier before. The home is large enough for multiple pets to have their space.

“Angi and her husband took great care of Lexi. They were able to accommodate me just a few hrs before I neede their daycare service, communicated to me very quickly and politely. I definitely recommend them and if I return to the area I’ll be rescheduling with them.”

About: I've always had dogs & cats growing up. Recently, my husband & I rescued a puppy from North Carolina, named Mack. He is the light of our life. I love to be around dogs, and want to ensure they get the best care, whether that be walking or playing ball/fetch, or just snuggles. My goal of Rover is to be the home away from home for your fur babies. I want to ensure that you know/are reassured your fur babies are well loved, cared for, and looked after. I want to ensure that we form relationships, so that you have peace of mind I currently work full time about 20 minutes from my home, which allows me a greater radius to care for your loved one. I work M-F 8am-4pm (roughly), so I am available for any after work or weekend assistance. I have a fully fenced in yard for my dog to play in. We play ball multiple times throughout the day. He is up to date on his vaccines, and we ensure that he receives any care he might need. I am trained to notice any significant behaviors or concerns, and will address this ASAP.

“Repeat customer. My dog is apprehensive to non-family. Matt came out to greet us. She remembered him. My dog’s tails started wagging and she went right over to him. Jess soon came to the top of step and my dog went over to say hi to her and went right in the house. She didn’t even look back to me. They both have a calm demeanor that my apprehensive dog can sense and she obviously feels at home with them. Grateful to have people like this in the Valley.”

About: Experienced in overnight and back-and-forth pet sitting. Can care for puppies to seniors at any hour of the day and night. I am not grossed out by any mess your pet may make and will keep the space clean. Normally work 7-noon 3 days a week. My job is very flexible and could change to suite you and your pets needs! I am very quick with responding if you would need me last minute. My pets that I've had in my home get fed at the same time every day. They are also allowed to go out when they want and get their paws cleaned when they come in. Water is always available to them. You can expect me to do the same with your animals unless told other instructions.
“Jessica and her family did a great job with Max. She took time to introduce Max to her dogs and get him comfortable with them. Max was happy and healthy each day when I came to pick him up. Her young son liked taking care of Max too. I’m grateful for the care they gave Max”

About: I have been house sitting/pet sitting since I was 14 years old. I am very reliable and have a flexible working schedule aside from Rover. Pet sitting from me will encourage your animals to still feel loved when you can't be there and decrease their loneliness when you are away. Saturdays I am unavailable for the entire day but can still check in with your pets in the morning and evening! I also make my schedule for my other job two weeks in advance and can work around your schedule to the best of my ability. About: I've had the privilege of loving a variety of dogs: a large rottie/shepherd mix, a rat terrier, and currently an american lab puppy. Now that our lab is beginning to calm down, I'm eager to use my energy to help other people care for their pets! We used Rover for many years and I understand how important it is to find loving, last minute care for your beloved pet. I'll be sure to show your pups the best of care while you're away! I live by Barclay mountain, south of Towanda and commute to the Sayre/Athens area for work, which allows me to check in on pets in a wide range. I'd be happy to swing by before and after work as well as on my lunch as long as your location allows! We have a large, unfenced lawn (one day planning to put in a fence for future farm animals) and a small pond on our large, wooded property. Our dog is boundary trained but we keep a long 50 foot lead for visitors! Dogs are welcome to snuggle up on the couch but generally expected to sleep in their crate or bed as bedrooms are off limits to our furry friends. When I come to you to care for your pets, it's important to me that I follow the usual routine that you've established with them!
