“I just moved to Pennsylvania from New York a few weeks ago and my 14 year old pup Sammy had been struggling to adjust. I soon needed care for him as I was scheduled to have surgery. Additionally, I was reluctant to leave him with a boarder for fear he would be caged and unhappy. Jahada was well recommended by a family friend, so I booked her. Upon Sammy's new vet's recommendation, I took Sammy to meet Jahada ahead of tine to ensure his comfort. Well, my fears were unfounded. Sammy took to Jahada immediately and made hinself at home. When it was time for his 4 day stay, Sammy went to Jahada easily and didn't look back. Jahada sent me daily pictures of Sammy and provided written updates. She gave him his medications each day and ensured he was well fed and loved. Sammy even made friends with another senior dog. When I picked Sammy up, he was delighted to see me. I could tell he had a good time with Jahada, as he was playful, full of energy, and slept very well when it was his bedtime. I am so happy my dog was in good hands with Jahada and will be making plans to bring him back for more doggy care in February when I take out of town travel.”

About: I’ve been around dogs and animals in general since a young age, with my grandpa running a small farm. I’ve grown up around breeds like German Shepherds, and have always taken care of friends’ dogs while they were in vacation. I learned a lot from my fiancé, who ran a successful dog walking business in New York City Give yourself peace of mind, your dog is in safe, loving, caring hands. I’m currently working from home with a special schedule which I take advantage of as it frees up a lot of time during the day. Pet care fits into it quite easily, as I have a daily routine I follow which includes dog walks, time with the dogs outside and of course feedings (and tending medicine when needed). I have a home situated on a quiet, secluded private lot that backs up onto a river with several trails within a short walking distance. The yard is secluded, well shaded and has ample space. I take care to be active with the dogs, so I usually toss frisbees or play fetch several times a day to keep them content. I walk my dogs twice around the neighborhood. Besides home, I have a number of dog-friendly trails and parks both in East Stroudsburg and nearby where I bring the dogs for some quality time outside. This includes hiking on trails and in the mountains, bringing the dogs to rivers or lakes, I mix it up each week depending on the weather conditions. Any time I go on an outdoor adventure, I make sure I have the owner’s consent. Their dogs will always be hydrated and have a snack. I only ask that if your dog has specific dietary needs or is taking medication, that you provide me with the necessary information and schedule. Being a therapist has strengthened my ability to be calm, observant, trustworthy, and responsive to individual needs, which helps pets feel comfortable and secure around me. I don’t just “watch” pets — I build connection, provide comfort, and make sure they feel loved while you’re away. I recently earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and currently work part-time as a therapist while continuing to grow my caseload. Pet sitting is something I genuinely enjoy and intentionally include in my schedule because caring for animals has always been a passion of mine. Since I work part time, I’m able to dedicate focused attention, patience, and quality care to the pets I work with rather than treating it like a rushed side job. When caring for pets in your home, I strive to create a calm, safe, and loving environment where they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routines, and emotional needs, so I approach each animal with compassion, empathy, and attentiveness. About: Stay at home mom with large fenced in yard, many years of experience with dogs. We currently have a 20lb Puggle/Terrier mix and 110lb Great Dane. Both are crate trained and friendly with other animals. I am generally available seven days a week, 24 hours a day for boarding, daycare, walks, training, etc. I have reliable transportation and can be available on short notice. We own a 3400 sq foot home in East Stroudsburg on .75 acres. The dogs are generally kept on the first floor with multiple dog beds and welcome on the furniture. I have crates available if needed. Our large backyard is fenced in with locks on the gates. The dogs are usually supervised while outside. We leave water down all day for the dogs and share treats such as apples, carrots, peanut butter and milk bones.
“This is the first time I've used an online service to walk my dogs and I was definitely nervous. We have two rotties and needed to make sure they would be walked safely and the walker could match their energy. They are not aggressive but are big dogs that can easily drag you if you are not in control of the walk. Ashley came for a meet and greet and from the way she handled the very first interaction we knew she was the right fit for our dogs. About: I love taking care of fur babies and I had a 120lb Great Pyrenees and mini schnauzer myself. As an experienced dog handler, I'll be sure your dog gets excersize, stays safe, and is taken care of and loved when you're gone. “I just moved to Pennsylvania from New York a few weeks ago and my 14 year old pup Sammy had been struggling to adjust. I soon needed care for him as I was scheduled to have surgery. Additionally, I was reluctant to leave him with a boarder for fear he would be caged and unhappy. Jahada was well recommended by a family friend, so I booked her. Upon Sammy's new vet's recommendation, I took Sammy to meet Jahada ahead of tine to ensure his comfort. Well, my fears were unfounded. Sammy took to Jahada immediately and made hinself at home. When it was time for his 4 day stay, Sammy went to Jahada easily and didn't look back. Jahada sent me daily pictures of Sammy and provided written updates. She gave him his medications each day and ensured he was well fed and loved. Sammy even made friends with another senior dog. When I picked Sammy up, he was delighted to see me. I could tell he had a good time with Jahada, as he was playful, full of energy, and slept very well when it was his bedtime. I am so happy my dog was in good hands with Jahada and will be making plans to bring him back for more doggy care in February when I take out of town travel.”
