She introduced Mavis to her apartment, and her pet is around the same age, Sushi, and gave us some great tips on helping Mavis settle in. The Blink camera in the room where Mavis stayed was a nice touch, allowing Crystal to check in on her whenever she was out, which was reassuring. Plus, she ensured Mavis got plenty of playtime – she understood Mavis's playful side. I was impressed by how Crystal helped Mavis and Sushi become friends. They hit it off after a little supervised playtime, which made me feel even better about leaving Mavis with her. What genuinely set Crystal apart was her communication. About: I’ve taken care of animals, primarily dogs, since I was a little girl, around age 5. I was raised with coonhounds and a beagle and enjoyed helping to feed and bath our coonhounds. I would show our coonhounds in dog shows and I had no issues handling a bigger breed. My beagle was my house dog and best friend and went everywhere with me. I am currently a dog mom to two beagles. Rillan is definitely a dog person. Our dog loves to play with other dogs, but dogs need to be monitored so they don’t get too crazy. She has a nice outdoor fenced play area and inside open space. Like a good kindergarten teacher, Rillan makes sure each dog plays nicely, separates those that need a time out and also gives individual attention. She sent pictures and stayed in touch, just for an afternoon of doggie day care! Our dog’s day ended with a nap and snuggles with Rillan and another dog hanging out on the sofa!! About: I grew up taking care of pets for neighbors and family, and have had many of my own. At home now, I have our dog Kona and a bearded dragon named Norbert, plus two kids. I'm comfortable with caring for all dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. I'd love to send you photos and updates if you would like so you know how things are going while you are away. I can't wait to meet your furry friend! I'm home most of the day, so your pet won't be left alone for long stretches. I absolutely love taking walks so we will be doing plenty of those. If your pet needs a specific feeding or potty schedule, just let me know and I'll stick to it. Our yard isn't fenced, so your dog will go out on leash for walks and potty breaks several times a day. My Dog is super friendly and always up for a new friend. If your pup prefers quiet time or needs a crate to decompress, I can absolutely make that happen as well. I will go over your dogs preferences when I get a chance to talk with you. I'm more than happy to make accommodations to fit your pets needs.
