About: I love dogs! Over the last 15 years I have fostered over 90 dogs and have owned 7 myself. I currently have 2 pups living with my husband and I. About: Going up as a kid I have helped care for multiple animals including dogs that were being pet sitted in our home. I have also cared for my own animals, cats and horses, over the last 23 years. In this time I have worked at a horse boarding facility and have done horse sitting for neighbors while they were on vacation. I want to ensure that your pet has a safe and relaxing time during their stay, I will provide a separate room for your animal if needed or requested, with their own bedding and play-area. I will collect your vet information at booking and take your pet to their vet if necessary; I also am a member of the local Dauphin County Animal Hospital, which I can use if needed for emergencies. I currently have an alapaha blueblood bulldog named Hamilton, a corgi named Pippa, two orange cats named Milo and Stewart, a 6 year old goldfish named Freed, and 9 chickens (all named of course, but I'll spare you that). My first fur baby Elli, a dachshund recently passed away; in saying that I am letting you know that I'm an expert in senior care and giving animals medications as well. Her meds were a full time job. I walk my dog almost daily and love to exercise animals, so I'd love to walk your animals too! Just a part-time registered nurse over here looking to fill my spare time and love on some fur babies! I'm a per diem registered nurse who works evenings and nights so I have lots of time from morning to afternoon to care for your pet. About: I've raised both of my dogs since they were puppies and understand how important consistency is. I enjoy learning about each dog I meet and discovering ways to connect with them. Dog hugs are just a plus! My pet care availability will typically be before 8am and after 4:30pm during the week. I would also consider overnight bookings during the week. Weekends, I am typically available at all times day and night. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs. I live in an area with a great walking trail and a dog park we can visit. I also have an available crate (Large) with a dog bed and plenty of dog food/treats to share.
