About: In the past I have volunteered a Forever Paws Animal Shelter as a cat room specialist. My job was to complete health checks, socialize, feed, groom, and clean the cats, as well as maintain the cleanliness of the rooms they dwelled in. I actually met my cat there! About: Large Animal Science graduate, have completed the vet tech, dog grooming, and agility courses at BCAHS. Experience with diverse/exotic animal caretaking rolls, canine cpr certified, lots of experience with difficult dog breeds. My schedule with work is very flexible. Usually I tend to walk my dog for a 1-2 hours a day. It is extremely important that my dog Nala gets exercise each day to make sure she stays happy and healthy. Sometimes I also take my cat on the walks as well (he loves spending time outside with his sister with his harness and leash on!). Weekends have much more flexibility with my schedule. It is extremely important to make sure that any animal feels comfortable in their environment. Giving them the opportunity to take bathroom breaks and keeping pets on their normal schedule is very important. Giving pets access to fresh drinking water, specific foods, and medications as needed is also crucial. Providing proper exercise and mental enrichment only helps to further improve an animal’s experience in their surroundings as well.

About: I have been passionate about the care of animals ever since I was a child. I’ve owned 4 dogs of my own and would love the opportunity to care for your fur baby. I now have the time and space to offer my home and large, fenced-in yard to dog sitting services for your dog’s needs. Pet care is fully integrated into my daily routine. I work full-time from home, so I’m able to provide constant supervision, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. My own dog, Kip, is part of a consistent schedule that includes two to three walks daily, outdoor time in our large fenced-in yard, playtime, and downtime for rest and cuddles. Because I’m home all day, dogs in my care are never left alone for long periods and are able to maintain a routine similar to what they’re used to at home. I’m attentive to each dog’s individual needs, whether that means extra exercise, quiet companionship, or structured routines, and I enjoy making pet care a central part of my day rather than something I have to fit in around other commitments. When caring for dogs in my home, I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment where they’re treated like part of the family. “I could not have asked for a better boarding experience for Murphy. Julie and Kevin were amazing. When we arrived, Kevin was there to greet us and took Murphy into the backyard to play, helping him get acquainted with the surroundings before meeting their dog crew. Murphy has taken a real liking to their dog, Skittles; he gets so excited whenever I mention her name. I received regular updates and pictures from Julie, which I greatly appreciated. Kevin even slept on the couch next to Murphy's crate on the first night. We will definitely be a repeat customer.”
About: I've raised both of my dogs since they were puppies and understand how important consistency is. I enjoy learning about each dog I meet and discovering ways to connect with them. Dog hugs are just a plus! My pet care availability will typically be before 8am and after 4:30pm during the week. I would also consider overnight bookings during the week. Weekends, I am typically available at all times day and night. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs. I live in an area with a great walking trail and a dog park we can visit. I also have an available crate (Large) with a dog bed and plenty of dog food/treats to share.
