“De’Andra was very accommodating for me, as I booked her very last minute. She followed my instructions and advice with how to care for Lewy, and the process was easy. “I felt very good about the care I was receiving from videos and pictures. I felt max was in good hands and it showed a very well organised house with a fenced in yard in the back. I will definitely use him again. Thanks again”

“This was Arthur's second stay with Betsy and Ron. We were able to really enjoy our time away and relax because we knew he was being well taken care of while we were gone, and got a picture or two most days showing him having a good time. “Lauren and her family are absolutely amazing. Koda had the best time with them and I’m sure already misses all the extra cuddles and playing with his dog friends. Thank you so much for providing a great place and so much love for him. 💙🐶”

“Sowmya and her family are super nice. They took good care of my dog and walk him twice a day. She shared bunch of pictures every day and my dog really had a good time at their house. I would definitely come back again when I need.”

“Amanda was great! She sent us a picture and update every day and was quick to respond when we asked how Fiona was doing. This was only the second time anyone outside our family watched Fiona and she does take time to warm up to new people. Our family was super hesitant to leave her. Amanda made us feel much better. We will definitely ask Amanda to watch her again.”

“Diana was outstanding to work with. We have a 10 week old Rottweiler who is a handful and we were leaving her for the first time since adopting her. Diana was great with communication, updates and plenty of pictures. Great overall experience from start to finish.”

“Bobbi did a wonderful job again. I know when I leave Maggie with her, she is going to be cared for and loved. I love seeing all the picture of Maggie with her friends too. Bobbi is a caring dog lover.”

“Taylor is amazing as always! I’ve used her services before for a few days but never for as long as I just did of about 8/9 days. Our cat Phoebe we found out a few days before our trip that she has an autoimmune condition after finding a sore that needed 3 different medications. Taylor was SO flexible and came over again to learn all about the meds and how to distribute them. She did a great job during our vacation, even handling our wiggly, stubborn Phoebe. She was very communicative and lovely, even taking a video when we needed an update on Phoebe’s sore, watering our Christmas tree, and taking in our mail! Josie kept me posted throughout the day with notes and pictures which also lessened the anxiety. I hope to be using Josie as a sitter again in the near future.”

About: I’ve been around dogs of all different sizes and breeds since I was a young kid. I have always loved dogs and wanted my house full of them when I got older. This gives me a chance to care for all the dogs I’ve always wanted to. I have history with dogs that have different temperaments and know how to handle dogs of all different energy levels. I am a stay at home mom of two younger kids who love all animals so your pups will never be alone. I am always home and able to let them out for potty breaks and take them on nice long walks when the weather is nice! We are a family with a very flexible schedule and will be able to meet any of your pets needs at any time of the day or night. I have a large fenced in yard, lots of room for playing, running and relaxing along side of our very friendly dog named Eliza who loves having a buddy to play with. We have lots of room indoors as well as outdoors for snuggle time on the couch, floor or wherever they feel comfortable. We have an upstairs and downstairs so there is room for a crate if your pet feels more relaxed in there own space. I do also have a large crate unused if you can’t bring your own! I have the ability and practice of giving dogs medications if needed so anything your dog may need while staying with me will be no problem at all! We are an animal loving family who has a lot of care to give, we are very trustworthy and will always treat your pet like they’re our own!

About: I’ve had both cats and dogs my entire life, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I provide a calm, attentive home environment where pets are treated like family and receive plenty of love, playtime, and regular walks. I share my home with cats, so dogs must be comfortable around them. My cats are well-adjusted and do well with dogs, but they may choose to hide around higher-energy pups. They are not comfortable being chased or cornered, so I only accept dogs that are respectful of their space. I have experience with a wide range of breeds and sizes, from small dogs to large breeds, as well as pets with different temperaments. I’m also experienced with special needs pets and administering medications, and I pay close attention to each pet’s individual routine and behavior. I provide consistent supervision and personalized care to ensure a safe, low-stress environment for everyone in my home. You can also expect regular updates with photos, so you always feel connected and reassured while your pet is in my care. I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent supervision and attention throughout the day. I closely follow each pet’s established routine: feeding, walks, and any special care, to create a familiar, low-stress environment. I provide care in a calm, structured home environment and only accept dogs from one family at a time. This allows for a lower-stress stay and ensures your dog receives my full attention and personalized care. Each dog’s routine is followed as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, and any specific instructions. I provide frequent walks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. Dogs are not crated unless requested by the owner to maintain their normal routine. For everyone’s safety and comfort, dogs must be house-trained, cat-friendly, and able to coexist respectfully in a home environment. I offer Meet & Greets for all new clients so we can ensure a good fit for everyone. Additionally, my experience working on Rover’s Trust & Safety team has given me a strong understanding of pet behavior, risk awareness, and best practices in providing safe, reliable care.

My dogs are very friendly with others and welcome new friends and people. I do have an electric fence but am happy to keep dogs on the leash to go outside. I am happy to crate if needed for your dog. I keep extra crates in my home to use.

About: 6/2026 UPDATE: After a long hiatus, I am back to dog sitting. It's a long story but my house burned down and it took years to get back into, a car accident, etc. However, I would like to start sitting other dogs again. I have my own dog, a bullmastiff named Bodi, who turned a year old in May 2026. He's 130+ lbs so far. He's a big big baby. He's very well socialized and goes to the dog park frequently, doesn't guard resources, and loves smaller dogs too. He is very gentle with them. Bodi is not neutered so no females in heat. My mother lives with me and she has a household cat. So, while it's ok for dogs to chase a cat, the cat is dog savvy, I cannot watch any dogs that would wish to do actual harm to the cat. I am especially doing this right now so my dog remains accustomed to new dogs entering his home and welcoming them. I'm home all the time so my schedule is open. My mother also lives with me and she is here all the time as well. I have a small fenced yard. I usually take my dog to the dog park or for a walk, or he has a playdate with the neighbor dog. So, while watching your dog, I would take him/her to the dog Park if that's ok with you, or take them for a walk. I do have a hip issue so I can't promise a lengthy walk every single day no matter what, simply because I do have hip issues. However, i would be able to throw a stick around, etc, to ensure your dog gets enough exercise. My dog Bodi is allowed on the furniture and in my bed and your dog would also be welcome to do so. I do give my dog people food treats. If you do not allow people food, please just let me know and I'll respect your wishes. The last thing I want to say is that my dog is my first priority, being that I'm only willing to watch dogs that get along well with my dog. So, I cannot promise any bookings without meeting you and your dog beforehand. I want dog sitting to be a positive experience for him and I do not want Bodi to be uncomfortable in his own home. 8/23/2019 UPDATE: My dog, Stella, passed away in March from osteosarcoma; but, I can't bring myself to remove her info from my profile yet. So, I'm adding this info as an update. Although I don't think I'm ready to get a new dog myself yet--because I still feel as though getting another dog would be trying to replace the irreplaceable-- I feel ok when around other people's dogs & feel as though I am ready to watch dogs again. In fact, being around dogs more, again, may be exactly what I need first, before getting another dog. All of that being said- despite my profile information & posted pictures, I do not have any dogs in my home so I would be able to watch dogs who may not be good with other dogs. I can watch more than 1 dog at a time, provided they are from the same household; but, I generally don't accept dogs from more than one household at a time. I set that rule/limit because I also had my own dog, so I may be willing to watch two dogs from different households...but, I wouldn't watch another dog from another household unless I had permission from both owners (first & foremost). Furthermore, I still would probably only do so only if I was already familiar with both dogs and/or felt very, very confident that neither dog's presence would negatively effect the other dog's experience. As a final note to owners of multiple dogs: Apparently, my thinking and experience(s) are contrary to Rover and or other Rover sitters in regards to watching two dogs from the same household. In my experience, whenever I have watched more than one dog from the same household, they have been easier to care for, and seem more calm and content. Therefore, instead of charging more for the second dog, my charge is $20 for the second dog. Additionally- I'm not sure what exactly my rate is for extended stays, based on my experience(s), extended-stays become easier and less time-intensive the longer the dog stays. As an example, I never expect to sleep much on the first night a dog stays over, simply because even when they're calm, they tend to wake up more often & obviously feel the need to go outside upon wakening. (However, being able to sleep through the night is an added bonus). So, I am willing to adjust my fees for well-behaved dogs staying longer than 3-4 nights. If and whenever that is the case, feel free to ask me about it, if I don't bring it up myself, during the meet n greet, asked prior to booking anything through the site. ___________________________________________________ Hi! I'm a dog person. As a kid, I grew up in a household with many dogs always coming and going so I am very comfortable with dogs. That being said, large and giant breed dogs hold a special place in my heart, and are my favorite. I am a college-educated professional and very trustworthy, and would be happy to meet in advance of taking care of your dog, in order to ease any concerns you may have about leaving a dog with a stranger. And, I could tell you more about myself over the phone, or in person. I also recognize I am new to Rover, and don't or probably won't have have any reviews or customers for a while, so if there's something I can say or do to ease any concerns you may have, feel free to let me know. I have one pet in my home, an 8-year-old female Bullmastiff named Stella, who is very, very laid back. Although I've known Stella her entire life, she came to live with me during the summer of 2017. She always lived with both male and female dogs of all sizes, and in a household with children, and has never displayed any behavioral issues or aggressive behavior. I think Stella gets a little lonely sometimes so she welcomes canine company. Every once in a while & depending on the personalities involved, the most 'aggression' Stella has ever displayed is a warning growl/light snap if she's eating a bully stick (her favorite), or when lying down in her spot on the sofa. It's an appropriate-level response & not aggressive. Actually, I think the only time she's ever even reacted like that, in any way, has been with dogs of her size or larger/taller than her. Even though I love the large dogs- I think Stella prefers dogs smaller than her. She seems to especially love dogs who nag her to play by running & jumping on and around her. Basically, I think she typically requires that the other dog motivate her to play ? (I think she also likes that she can play with the little dogs without having to do much of the running herself!) All in all, I think there's just a certain instant chemistry between certain dogs that make them immediate friends & good playmates. And, the reason I signed up on Rover is for Stella to have an occasional in-home playmate; however, Stella needs to feel comfortable in her own home, which is my first and foremost priority. Regarding house rules and what your pet may be accustomed to, I will adhere to any rules you set for your dog. Stella is allowed on the bed, and has a designated spot on the sofa. Your dog would be welcome on my furniture, if your dog is accustomed to that. However, I also have two ultra-comfortable dog beds (dimensions of each, 36"x 52"). I have exchanged dog-sitting favors with friends and neighbors and watched other dogs in my home for many years, but do not have any prior "professional" dog-sitting experience. MY HOME'S LAYOUT/SENIOR DOGS For anyone with senior dogs, my home is less than ideal, but can also be manageable for senior dogs. My home has a small fenced rear yard, but is a two-story home with the bedrooms located upstairs. There are also approximately 6-8 steps leading to the fenced yard. If your dog has a problem with the steps leading to the yard, I would be willing & able to walk the dog around the house to/from the yard without encountering the steps. I have hardwood flooring throughout my entire home (as well as ceramic and/or porcelain tile in the bathrooms). The stairs are hardwood floor treads with carpeted treads secured on top of the step. Although my stairs are certainly not the steepest stairs I've ever seen in an old home, they're still a bit more narrow and or steep than would be found in a newer home. Overall, my home may not be the best option for some senior dogs, but steps can be avoided as long as the dog is not accustomed to sleeping in the bedroom at night. That being said- I actually slept downstairs on my living room sofa (which has since been replaced) for 4-5 years when my previous dog was no longer able to climb the stairs. So, I'd probably sleep downstairs if I was watching a dog who couldn't climb the steps. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- P. S. There is a question or checkmark on my Rover profile for me to answer as to whether anyone smokes in the home. The question is a little but unclear, and I marked mine as no smoking in the home. So, I would like to clarify that I am a smoker, but I don't smoke in my home. I'm currently home all the time so I have lots of time to give love and attention. My mother also lives with me so there's two people to get attention from. I have a small fenced in yard, but frequently take my dog for a walk or the dog park, or at least somewhere to get them out of the house on a rainy day (i.e. Bass Pro Shops)

“Warren, Kelly, and the kids are absolutely amazing! They welcomed my dog into their home with open arms and treated her as their own. We had some delays and they graciously accommodated, which I really really appreciate! If I will definitely use them when we come back in the future. 10 out of 10 recommend!”

“Casey was absolutely amazing! We were in a last-minute pinch while attending Hersheypark and reached out less than an hour before we needed care for our two dogs. Not only did she respond quickly, but she was able to accommodate us on very short notice. She was incredibly friendly, caring, and loving with our dogs, and it gave us complete peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. It’s clear she genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own. We are so grateful for her help and would not hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend Casey to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter!”

“Jill has been so friendly and easy to work with! She went above and beyond by picking up a mess my dog had made! She sent so many great pictures to keep me updated.”

“We couldn’t be happier with the amazing care our dog received while we were away on vacation. Lauren went above and beyond to make sure our pup felt loved, comfortable, and well-exercised every single day. It gave us such peace of mind knowing our dog was in such capable and caring hands. From daily walks and playtime to thoughtful updates and photos, everything was handled with professionalism and genuine love for animals. Our dog absolutely adored her and it showed! We came home to a happy, relaxed pup, which says everything about the quality of care provided. We are so grateful and highly recommend Lauren’s services to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and truly exceptional with dogs!”

“Diana accepted a last minute request (day before). She came to pick up key that day and did meet ‘n greet with husband to get instructions. On day of walk, she was on time, called when our fickle front door stuck in the humidity. On the call, after the door opened, it was clear both her and Lizzy our maltipoo were excited to see each other. We got picture and walk info. She left the key in our drop mailbox as she left so we didn’t have to worry or track her down. Very professional! We would definitely book Diana again.”

“Abby was a long term dog walker for us while I recovered from a broken leg. She was always so kind and friendly. My dogs absolutely loved her and were always excited to see her! We would absolutely recommend Abby!!”

About: Taking care of dogs and cats has been my specialty since I was a child! I have had 8 dogs of all kinds, as well as 10 cats, not including my grandmother’s. My family and neighbors would trust me to feed and water their pets while they were away. I am great at crating puppies and socializing feral/young kittens. It’s always a pleasure to brush or bathe pets depending on their size! I am working a part-time job at Petsmart so my day is already filled with furry faces! But I will still have plenty of days where I can come take care of your puppy or kitty! My schedules are usually two weeks out so I have plenty of notice of when I am free. Contact me of a day when you’d like me to care for your pet and I will let you know the earliest I am available that day! Unfortunately I am not in a position to invite pets into my home… I am figuring out my living situation and will update this section when I have a suitable place for pets to visit!

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for family, friends, and neighbors since I was a teenager. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they get the love and attention they need while their owners are away. I am dependable patient and happy to send updates so you know your pets are doing well. I will make sure your pets feel safe loved and well cared for while you’re away. I work full-time Monday through Friday, but my evenings and weekends are dedicated to pet care. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or some extra company while you’re away, I’m happy to help. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet and your home. I’ll always follow your pet’s routine, respect your home, and provide updates and photos during each visit or as often as you’d like. My goal is not only to make your pet feel safe, loved, and well cared for, but also to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands.
About: I have grown up with dogs all my life. I started taking care of dogs a little bit before I turned 10. I've taken care of my family's and friends' pets for many years. I've been relied on for feedings, walks, baths, and medications. I love dogs with all my heart. I always want to make sure that they feel loved and cared for. I am currently working a full time job, but try to make time for some pet sitting! I am able to do most morning pet sitting/dog walking. Fridays and Saturdays are always 50/50 since I'm working either one of those days, but can do evenings if I am working. I'm always off on Sundays, so I'm always free! I live in an apartment, so I make sure that my dog has plenty of opportunities to go outside for a walk. My dog has a schedule that we stick to that also works for her. I would make sure that I follow your dog's schedule and specific instructions. With me, your dog will get all the cuddles, love, and playtime they could ask for!
“Matt does an excellent job on walking my pup during the week. He has great communications letting me know when he is on his way and how things go on the walk with plenty of pictures.”

“Christy is a gem! My dog saw her coming and was so excited to see her because he knew he was about to get a great walk! From my six-year-old lazy St. Bernard to my one year-old newfi/St. Bernard mix who has enough energy for five puppies, she knows how to handle both of them. The puppy is in training and she’s very good at reinforcing what he’s learning. I am so glad I found her!”
“Siyani is absolutely AMAZING! My rescued pup is a reactive dog, and it’s usually very difficult for him to warm up to new people,!especially when it comes to walks or being cared for by someone new. But with Siyani, he felt safe right away!! She has such a calm, kind energy that made Toby comfortable and confident, which is something I honestly didn’t think I would find outside of our family. Finding someone who can handle a rescue pup with patience and love is rare, and Siyani has completely earned my trust. This experience gave me the peace of mind I needed, and now I know I’ve found my go-to sitter for Toby, not only for dog walks but also for when I travel. I couldn’t recommend her enough!!”

“Mya is fantastic! Was very flexible with our last minute needs. Great with my two rambunctious dogs and always timely. Definitely going to book again and would recommend to anyone reading!”

About: I've been taking care of dogs and cats since I was a young girl. I know a lot about body language, feeding routines, and behavior. I have no issues with any pets, as long as they don't bite! I work a full time job as a, hours ranging between 3:00p- 10p (I try to change my availability on Rover as I get my work schedule!), but I want to incorporate my pet care calling into my life, so I decided to pick this up as a part time! Please keep in mind that I like to book clients, especially new ones, 3 (three) days in advance! This gives us time for a proper Meet & Greet, and for me to build a Client File! I do not take appointments past 3pm. I will gladly work around appointments to the best of my abilities! Caring for your animal, depending on dog or cat, I will have them leashed outside when walking, and monitor when outside in a fenced in yard, or given treats!

“She has provided us with daily updates/photos of our dog. She replied to our questions promptly. She made sure that our dog feels comfortable at their home.”

“I felt very good about the care I was receiving from videos and pictures. I felt max was in good hands and it showed a very well organised house with a fenced in yard in the back. I will definitely use him again. Thanks again”

“Amy and Patrick were so sweet and awesome to my 8-week old puppy, Lila, while I was away. They took excellent care of her. Amy and Patrick are friendly, responsible, and pet-loving good people. I highly recommend them for pet sitting, walking your dog, etc. I will certainly use their services again!”

“I trust Tiffany with Basil; she makes sure she is very well taken care of and I never have to worry. Basil is always very happy during her visits with Tiffany and it shows.”

“Just amazing! I'm a very anxious person, Kathy put me so at ease. She takes wonderful notes of each pet and is very meticulous with how she cares for your pet. She very much treats them as if they where her own. I cant wait for my pup to go back, she can't as well!”

“This was Arthur's second stay with Betsy and Ron. We were able to really enjoy our time away and relax because we knew he was being well taken care of while we were gone, and got a picture or two most days showing him having a good time. We so appreciate the great care and attention he received! Thanks Betsy and Ron - you're the best!”

“I was slightly (inconsolably) worried when I dropped off my five year old, anxious, rescue dog for her first boarding with strangers. However, the daily updates and pictures did much to ease my nerves. If I were ever in the area again, I would definitely look them back up.”

“Lauren and her family are absolutely amazing. Koda had the best time with them and I’m sure already misses all the extra cuddles and playing with his dog friends. Thank you so much for providing a great place and so much love for him. 💙🐶”

“I was blessed to find Diba to pet sit our Vega girl and everything went great and any questions were communicated very quickly including replies. Thank you, Diba, I really appreciate you very very much.”

“We left Iris, our choc lab, with Pam and Mike for 2 weeks while we traveled on the west coast. They sent daily pics of her romping in the yard with their dogs and playing in the dog pool. There is a big fenced in yard and a couple of mini horses in the area adjacent. She had a Great time and we will definitely call them again if we travel out of state.”

“Michelle watched Albert for the first time over the Labor Day weekend and he had a great time! She sent us videos and pictures and we could tell he was having fun and in good hands. We’ve already booked Michelle for another boarding and would highly recommend her.”

“Laura was great with our Baci! It was our first time having Laura and her family look after our dog. She sent pictures and videos throughout Baci’s stay. I appreciated her being in contact with me, it was a comfort to know Baci was enjoying her stay and being cared for so well. She certainly was exercised through play with new pup friends! I will definitely reach out to Laura for future stays.”

“Heather is such a wonderful dog sitter! My dogs run to her door in excitement. I love the pictures and videos she sends and know she always takes care of them like they were hers! ❤️”

“Vicky and her family were absolutely amazing hosts for our lab. They sent us pictures and videos often, and it was clear that he was loved and cared for the whole time. We even had a delay on our return, and they were super flexible and kind about it. Our boy has poor eyesight, which made me nervous to leave him in a new place, but I could tell they made sure he was safe and comfortable. I am so grateful to Vicky and her family for taking such great care of him.”

“Desire is amazing, she has a wonderful place and this is the first time I left Rosco with someone. Desire has been sending me regular updates with pictures and videos. Thank you very much for taking such a good care of him.”
