My dog is quite skidish about new dogs, new environments and new people. This was no challenge for Cheryl. She was able to ease my dogs insecurities right away and allowed her 2 dogs time to meet our little girl on her terms and very cautiously. Cheryl was flexible with my drop off and pick up times and communicated with me throughout the entire stay with updates and photos. She also provided my dog with medications for her skin and gave us great feedback on how I may be able to better care for her allergies. Cheryl is a very responsible dog owner and it certainly carries into her ability to care for my dog as well. About: My entire life has been surrounded by loving and taking care of animals, big and small! Majority of experiences comes from walking and feeding neighbors and family members’ dogs when they needed a second hand. I am a currently a full-time student athlete at a college nearby finishing up my last few semesters. My busiest times in my schedule is the mid mornings, but on average free and available right at noon through the evening. I personally have had family dogs in the house, with currently two dogs that are medium sized. I love going on walks, even runs, with both of them when I am back at home. About: Around 2000, I held this position while working at a dog training facility, Commonwealth Dog Training in VA. Experienced in dog training and dog care all my life. My pack consists of three large dogs, 50+ lbs., that regularly go to dog parks and car rides. I am transitioning in my employment and have time to spare. I am available for dog walks or drop-in visits any day in the afternoon or evening in the Chambersburg, Gettysburg, and Hagerstown areas. Your pet would live only with me in a private guest house. We have 300 acres to go for walks or chase balls! My husband and 9 cats live in the main house. Our cats don’t mind other animals but I can keep your pet away from the cats if you prefer. As a 15 year high school teacher, I am very trustworthy, authentic, and kind. I admit to being a bit of a “crazy animal person” as I try to pet every animal I see! I can be trusted with your animal for an extended time or just an afternoon walk! I can also board hamsters or horses.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was around 5. My brother was very active in the dog community and often took me with him. I took care of his Rotwilliers whenever he vacationed and had several dogs of my own. I have been a dog sitter for friends and family my whole life and have taken care of dogs for my nanny families in the past! I am currently a part-time nanny, but fit in dog care in my off time! I only work two full days a week, Monday and Thursday, so I have plenty of time for my puppy friends! I love to help out other dog parents and want to make dog care my full-time job. When caring for a dog in another home, I can easily follow instructions you leave for me. I can walk the dogs on a leash, take them to dog parks, or play with them in my own yard. If a dog has to come home with me, I have a large home with plenty of yard for them to run and play in. I have small crates at my own home if needed. I have experience with giving dogs medication due to my own senior dogs and my French bulldog who has had allergy issues.

About: I have had dogs of all sizes my whole life. I have raised and trained two service dogs. We now have a rescue and have gained experience with skittish, anxious dogs. I work full time as an occupational therapist. I am available most weekends for sitting in my home. I also occasionally work weekends and then have days off during the week, so I would be available for limited daytime sitting. I have two friendly labs that are well socialized and love play dates! About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was a kid, and I have experience with taking care of many different breeds, young and old. I love animals and will do everything I can to make yours comfortable and happy. Work is currently slow, so I have the time to give your pets all the attention they need. I am available anytime throughout the week and most weekends. I have two friendly dogs that would love to keep yours company. I do not have a fenced yard, but walk them on my private lane often, and take them to the dog park. My pets get fed twice a day, but I can feed yours as often as you’d like - they also have some treat throughout the day.
