About: I grew up in a dog-loving home—there was never a time we didn’t have a furry friend in the family. Since my very first pet, I’ve enjoyed caring for animals. About: I have raised 3 puppies for the Seeing Eye program by myself as well as helping my family raise 5 additional dogs, and I have puppy sat on numerous occasions for family members, neighbors, and friends. I have trained puppies basic commands, housebreaking, and behaving in public with other humans and dogs. About: Hi, I'm Suzie and I'll turn 62 this month... That is almost how long that I've been a pet owner from dogs, cats, horses, ponies, chickens cows, peacocks.. I'm also a Registered Nurse who worked critical care for 11 years and have been an RN for 35 years. I'm very comfortable with injections, and giving meds, assessing the animal and knowing when to call a vet. I have a Newfoundland here and a newfie/great dane cross, 3 house cats, and then the rest of the animals outside. The dog yard has a pet door that leads into a small area in my kitchen that is currently fenced off so no one gets free run of the house unless supervised. They can come and go back and forth as much as they want to. My back yard is lined with 4 board fencing that also has American wire in the inside to keep little ones in. I'm currently working flex at the hospital so I'm actually home almost all the time. I have a roommate that helps with the farm and the dogs when I'm not here. I'm a home body so I'm home here almost all the time. I have a 4 board fenced in yard that is also lined on the inside with American wire for my yard and have chains on the gates leading into and out of the yard. My fence is 5 ft high. There is a pet door leading into the kitchen which has a small fenced in area inside the kitchen so that the dogs can be contained just in case they are wet. I allow them into the house once they are dry.

About: Full disclosure I have not been paid to care for dogs yet however i did raise a puppy from a couple months to a year and worked on training. Ive also grown up with and cared for all types of dogs and dog sizes. I have cared for senior dogs as well. Bathing, walking, clipping nails, giving medication, feeding, basic training etc are all things I have experience with. About: I have had animals throughout my whole life. The animal I’ve had with me the longest is my 16 year old chihuahua. I’ve had him since I was 5 years old.
