I want to ensure that your pet has a safe and relaxing time during their stay, I will provide a separate room for your animal if needed or requested, with their own bedding and play-area. I have several rooms in the house that are not used, so I keep this space reserved for your pets. I will collect your vet information at booking and take your pet to their vet if necessary; I also am a member of the local Dauphin County Animal Hospital, which I can use if needed for emergencies. I treat all dogs as though they are my own and I want the best for all of them. I am now retired and available during the day on weekdays to walk your dog and play with them. I’m available all day on weekends and holidays, depending on my schedule. I’m able to pet-sit in the client’s home. About: Going up as a kid I have helped care for multiple animals including dogs that were being pet sitted in our home. I have also cared for my own animals, cats and horses, over the last 23 years. In this time I have worked at a horse boarding facility and have done horse sitting for neighbors while they were on vacation. Currently I have 2 dogs which I watch and walk on a regular basis for friends and this has prompted me to want to do this for others as well. I do have experience caring for wounds and giving oral/topical medication. I have also done insulin shots in the past but it has been a while. I currently work full-time Monday thru Thursday and would have available time Thursday evening thru Sunday evening to perform walks or other pet siting needs. I routinely inspect the home space yours or mine for hazards and cleanliness. I currently have a small fenced area where your dog can easily have free time. I also enjoy visiting dog parks and walking well maintained trails. If pet sitting for a cat litter boxes will be cleaned 2x daily or as requested by client.
About: I grew up surrounded by animals, which is where my passion for four-legged friends began. In college, I studied Animal/Wildlife Science where I took classes like animal behavior, animal disease and animal nutrition to become well versed in animal husbandry. About: I live in Port Trevorton, Pennsylvania. I worked in a Boarding and Grooming Facility for the last 2 years, so I have experience with all breeds and personalities, senior pets and puppies/kittens. I do not believe that there is an aggressive breed. I am efficient in administering medicines properly, including insulin and other injectible medicines. I currently have 7 dogs and 7 cats. (I have a diabetic cat with kidney failure, so I have experience with difficult medical conditions.) I've had dogs and cats for 8+ years. I live on a farm so I'm always on the go. I love playing fetch or tug of war, going for walks or anything else active, but I also enjoy lounging on the couch with my pets as well. My favorite breed is the Labrador Retriever, but I love all the other breeds as well!

About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and have had experience owning other pets such as geckos, cats, and snakes. I’ve been a pet sitter for a little over two years. My true passion for pet sitting comes from my desire to be accompanied by them, dogs specifically. I work with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and personalities. Dogs of all backgrounds tend to gravitate towards me and I have never had any negative interactions. While studying for my undergrad, I was actually in charge of all the live animal specimens present on the University grounds. I currently am home as I finish my masters degree online so my daily schedule is fairly free. I workout and do part-time contract work when I am not doing schoolwork. Minimizing stress is my biggest concern (my dog has separation anxiety so I know how it can be).
