“This is truly a VACATION for dogs! They get to enjoy a beautiful farm, go on walks/runs daily in nature. This is a superior experience in comparison to a kennel or leaving a dog elsewhere. They get go much attention and love. The barn the dogs sleep in is really cool. It looks like it was stables for horses. Each dog gets their on stable. You can bring your dog’s bedding & toys and they are happy in their stall. Christina & Daniel have it down to a science how to run the place so each dog gets lots of attention & outdoor play. I find this place to be incredibly inexpensive considering all they get. Way cheaper than most of the people on Rover wanting to watch your dog at their own house. BOOK here always.”

Both of my kittens were on medicine they had to receive every 12 hours and she had no issues administering them, even with my skittish boy that was receiving a liquid antibiotic through a syringe. “We can't speak highly enough of our dogs' experience with Michelle and Luke's family. We booked our two dachshunds with their family for a week vacation. Our dogs had very little experience around young children and we had concerns this may be a challenge. We initially met with Michelle online and she was kind enough to explain her home and property layout, discuss any questions we had. During drop off, we met with Michelle and spent some time getting to know her and the property, which are both well suited to ensuring her doggie guests are comfortable and well taken care of. Our dogs were obviously excited and carrying on during drop off, barking at anything that moved. Michelle assured us everything would be ok and explained how her and the family would work with our dogs over the next several days. During vacation, we had great daily interaction and Michelle provided photos and feedback of how our dogs were progressing and interacting with the children. This daily interaction made a huge impact on how our vacation went, none of the typical worry about the dogs being ok. By the time we returned from vacation to pick up our dogs, they were relaxed, calm and very happy around the children. We let Michelle know she is now known as the "Dog Whisperer" :). Typically, upon return home, our dogs are very stressed out from boarding and take a few days to get back into routine. This time was completely different - both dogs came home relaxed, happy and calm. The girls even made a special card for both dogs which is super cute. Can't thank Michelle and her family enough for a wonderful experience, our dogs can't wait to go back and spend time again. Highly recommend!”

“Sue was absolutely amazing! She took care of our two antisocial cats for a few days while we were out of town for Thanksgiving. Sue fed our fat boy some fresh tuna every day, refilled water, left out treats for our cats and more. She tried playing with them but they don’t really like new people so we are not surprised at all that they didn’t interact as much as we wish they did. The best thing about Sue is she is trustworthy, respectful and truly cares about animals. She came every day to make sure our cats were okay. Sue also asked for our preferred vet in case of an emergency which luckily did not need to be used. Overall we are grateful to have found Sue and so happy with her services. We will be sure to use her again if we need it!”

“We had a fantastic experience with Sara (AKA Rosie) while we were away for five days in South Carolina. She was incredibly reliable, completing every single scheduled drop-in (3 times per day) without missing a beat. What truly sets her apart is how much quality time she spends with the dogs—not just letting them out quickly, but actually sitting with them, playing, and giving them space to run and explore in our large yard. Our doorbell would notify us when she showed up at the house and she was always out in the yard with the dogs while they explored. She followed all care instructions, including administering their daily joint supplements, and kept me constantly updated with detailed reports and at least 10 photos per visit—which meant I was getting about 30 pictures a day of my dogs being happy, active, and well cared for. That level of visibility gave me so much peace of mind. She was also incredibly proactive: when one of my dogs ran off to a less visible part of the yard, she immediately notified me and took steps to make sure he was safe (he was probably sniffing groundhog holes and choosing not to listen because he loves the yard). I also appreciated her sharing a funny moment when my dogs calmly sniffed a wild bunny—they weren’t aggressive, just curious, and it was comforting to know she filled me in on notable happenings while I was away. I'm not a certified trainer, but I've spent years learning dog training, body language, and enrichment, and every interaction is rooted in positive reinforcement. I will require a meet and greet with your pet in advance of the first booking so they can become familiar with me, and so I can become familiar with their routine and needs. My schedule gives me plenty of flexibility to be present for your dog, whether that's extra walks, playtime, or just being around for company, and I'm happy to talk through what kind of availability works best for your pet! I work from home which allows me the flexibility to prioritize pet care in a way I wouldn’t be able to with a traditional office. This gives me the ability to keep anxious dogs company, breaks for play time, medication, cuddles or walks when they are needed, not when they can be fit in. I create a calm, secure environment where pets feel safe and comfortable. Whether in my home or theirs, I work on building trust by moving at each pet’s pace and honoring their boundaries. Safety is always my top priority, I supervise pets closely, follow all instructions carefully, and adapt to their unique needs. I keep spaces clean, hazard-free, and ensure pets have fresh water, proper food, and quiet resting spots. For reactive or anxious pets, I use gentle, low stress handling & positive reinforcement or redirecting to help them feel calm and supported. Every care plan is tailored specifically to your pet’s needs after we discuss what works best for them.
About: I don’t have professional experience, but I have had dogs as pets within my circle of friends and family most of my life. I’ve experienced caring for small and big dogs, as well as caring for dogs of all ages. As a passionate animal lover, your pets will be in good hands with me. I currently work part-time as a server. About: I have been watching our neighbors and family friend’s dogs and doing drop-ins since I was little. My family has also had a dog since I was in highschool. I take him on walks every evening and am responsible for feeding and letting him out when my family is out of town. As well as my sisters dog when she stays with us. I am available throughout the day to do drop-in’s, go on walks or spend time with them at home throughout the day. Aside from a random day I have plans, my schedule is very flexible. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 13 years old. I have one dog named Zeus who is like a child to me and one cat named Tito who I also adore! Sometimes I think I like animals more than people😂. I have had cats for 12 years and currently have two 3 year old cats! Currently open for any/all bookings and have plenty of time for caring and loving for your pets. I am not very busy so even if you need last minute bookings I will most likely be available to care for your pet. Will be very patient with your animal and make sure that they are as comfortable as they can be. Should not have issues with watching or walking your pet and am open to any lengths of walks. “We can't speak highly enough of our dogs' experience with Michelle and Luke's family. We booked our two dachshunds with their family for a week vacation. Our dogs had very little experience around young children and we had concerns this may be a challenge. We initially met with Michelle online and she was kind enough to explain her home and property layout, discuss any questions we had. During drop off, we met with Michelle and spent some time getting to know her and the property, which are both well suited to ensuring her doggie guests are comfortable and well taken care of. Our dogs were obviously excited and carrying on during drop off, barking at anything that moved. Michelle assured us everything would be ok and explained how her and the family would work with our dogs over the next several days. During vacation, we had great daily interaction and Michelle provided photos and feedback of how our dogs were progressing and interacting with the children. This daily interaction made a huge impact on how our vacation went, none of the typical worry about the dogs being ok. By the time we returned from vacation to pick up our dogs, they were relaxed, calm and very happy around the children. We let Michelle know she is now known as the "Dog Whisperer" :). Typically, upon return home, our dogs are very stressed out from boarding and take a few days to get back into routine. This time was completely different - both dogs came home relaxed, happy and calm. The girls even made a special card for both dogs which is super cute. Can't thank Michelle and her family enough for a wonderful experience, our dogs can't wait to go back and spend time again. Highly recommend!”

About: My partner, Michelle, and I have had dogs since we were in high school and there is no better joy than going for a walk or spending time with our dogs. I currently only work about two hours every day performing Military Funeral Honors. Times vary but typically the job begins around 11am and lasts 30 minutes after which I drive home. Our family includes three small pugs and two grade school children. Crating pets or having potty trained pets sleep in our room is an option.
