“This was perfect for what I needed. We had no local friends or family that could take our cat. We were going to be away but he couldn't be at the house because we were having work done on it while we were gone. They took our cat into their home. I was surprised to see they had other cats when I arrived. But one question on the survey was if your pet does well with other cats, which he does, but cats tend to not be friendly with new cats initially so I was a bit worried they'd fight, but they had a separate area, a sun room that they allowed Sox to adjust in and during the week they had sent pictures of him being inside the home on the couch so obviously it was fine. I actually never met or dealt with Sarah only her Mom. Which I felt was odd. I was expecting the person pictured, the person I paid. Her Mom was lovely and clearly there were no issues and my cat was returned safely to me, I just felt it was odd the Sarah was sleeping or "resting because she works a lot" both times I was there. I didn't take any stars off my review for that, because again the service accomplished what I needed which was my cat to be cared for outside of my home.”

About: I’ve taken care of cats for 16+ years, my dog for 7 years and counting, and I briefly worked at Canine Clubhouse for almost 2 months. I am available for dog sitting, doggy daycare, and cat sitting since I am a stay at home mom to my 2 amazing boys and I have 1 dog and 2 cats. At home my cats are grazers and eat when they want to and my dog gets fed twice a day with a mix of dry and wet food and has to be let outside on a leash because our backyard is not currently fenced in.

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 9 years old, so caring for animals has always been a part of my life. I grew up with the sweetest Saint Bernard and have had 5 adorable kitties over the years. I like to call myself a professional cat entertainer. In 2023, I finally got my own fur baby who is spoiled rotten and my favorite thing in the world. I pet and house sit regularly for my friends and neighbors with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and even some horses. Sometimes that means staying overnight because one pup has bad separation anxiety, so I’m comfortable giving extra love and attention. Cats might be my favorite to work with but I love all cuties just the same! I’m working full time and right now, I get off work around 2:30pm. I am available for 30 minutes during the work day on my lunch break and during the afternoon/ nights. I have a large back yard and fenced in pool area for dogs with lots of room in the house for laying, playing, or exploring. I currently do not own a dog so any visiting dogs should bring with their favorite toys for extra entertainment. I am not living in a development but have plenty of walking trails in close proximity, including Big Boyd’s Tree Preserve, Front Street, Fort Hunter, and Wildwood Park. There are 3 cats living in the house who have been acclimated to dogs. We have separate rooms for visiting cats to stay with extra litter boxes, scratching posts, an abundance of toys, and a few humans to play with and love on.

“We were thrilled to find Jenny on short notice. We needed someone to take our dog with a day, and Jenny was able to accommodate us. We loved Jenny’s positive and happy energy, and Ava warmed to her right away. In addition, I was very happy to see little signs from Jenny that she knows what she is doing- for example, when we pulled up, Jenny brought the other dogs outside to meet Ava in a neutral space so everyone could get friendly before going inside. Little things like that show that she takes the time to really care about the dogs. Ava was taken out for exercise multiple times and we arrived back to a happy, healthy, and exhausted dog! About: I have years of experience. i have had animals all my life and have taken care of all different kinds - turtles, sugar gliders, rabbits, ferrets, lizards, cats and dogs. i have had to take care of senior dogs, and of dogs that needed medications everyday for either seizures or for pain due to being hit by a car. I look out more for the animal than i do for myself it seems. I work from home, i can play or arrange services M-W til 3p, Th and Fri all day long, and the Weekends before 7a and after 3p they can be all mine. My home is not fenced in, however my dog is trained and comes when called and doesn't need a leash. If Dogs are coming to my home; they will require a leash and harness. They were very quick to respond and continued with good communication throughout the entire time they had my dog. They took the time, at a very busy time of year, to meet us on the Sunday before at a local park and introduced their beautiful Lab Chase to us. Seeing how well they handled Chase and how understanding they were of Clementine’s intimidation, really eased our minds of my small dog being around a bigger dog and it showed how compassionate these two fun dog loving people are towards their guest dogs and owners. About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember! My experience with dogs started when I was just 4 years old, when my grandmother raised Cocker Spaniels. “Simone is an excellent pet sitter, and I recommend her without reservation. I needed someone I can trust with my gang of five - three cats and two English labs. They range in age from 19 to 1, and have a variety of needs, including medication for an elderly cat and supervision of a recently hospitalized dog, with his younger, very exuberant "brother." Simone managed it all without difficult, and even gave attention to the less needy pets. She sent some adorable photos that I will definitely save. “Roberta is experienced, capable, compassionate and communicative. We were so lucky that a former client of hers (from 10+ years ago!) referred her for in-home boarding of our recently inherited, mostly blind, 18 year old Maltese mix (former owner died). She spent a relaxing hour with us during the first meeting so Petie could get to know her. When I left him there for the extended stay, he fell asleep right away and had no potty accidents. These are sure signs that he was completely at ease with her and in her home, no small accomplishment for this senior dog that only had one owner gus entire life up til recently. We highly recommend Roberta, especially for seniors dogs that need extra attention and TLC. We fully enjoyed our vacation, knowing he was getting great care.”
“EXCELLENT. Its so hard to leave a fur baby behind for any amount of time. I felt so good leaving our dog with Kayla. We first had a meet and greet and that went great. Everything with our stay went great. We got photos and videos daily. Our dog looked happy in all the photos. All of our instructions were followed. Great stay and will return!”
