About: I've basically been owned by cats my entire life. I grew up with them, have shared my home with them throughout my adult life, and have happily accepted that I exist primarily to serve their every whim. These days, my household is run by three feline bosses: Ellie, my sweet 9-year-old, and two mischievous 1-year-old brothers, Merlin and Gandalf. They keep me well-trained in everything from playtime and enrichment to respecting the sacred afternoon nap schedule. When I was 16, our family cat surprised us with a litter of kittens, and I helped my mom raise them from tiny, wobbly fluff balls into healthy, playful cats. I was also a foster, so I'm comfortable caring for kittens that need a little extra patience and attention. I've volunteered with a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) rescue, where I cared for community cats and learned how to earn the trust of shy, scared, and feral cats. I've also had the privilege of caring for senior cats, so I understand the extra patience, gentleness, and routine they often need as they age. Whether your cat is a zoomie-powered chaos goblin, a dignified senior, or a professional hider who pretends I don't exist until dinner is served, I'll meet them where they are. About: I’ve been dog sitting for 4 years and have been around all kinds of dogs my whole life. I’m experienced with different temperaments, routines, and care needs, and I always provide patient, attentive care. I mainly have experience with older dogs (1 year to senior) and don’t shy away from the many needs dogs require in their twilight years. I worked for doggy daycares and boarding facilities for 3.5 years, ensuring the safety, happiness, and health of a wide variety of dog breeds and ages. I have administered medications, completed dog handling courses, and grooming training as well. This led me to groom professionally full-time for 2 years after college. I now prefer to do at-home bathing sessions and spend more time with pets one-on-one in a homey environment. In addition to dogs, I have taken care of fish, cats, amphibians, lizards, and birds. I have a 9 year old bunny of my own, so I am well-versed in rabbit care. I have 3 cats and if your dog does not like cats, they are perfectly fine hanging out in the basement during your dog's stay. This is my 7th year pet sitting. They took the time, at a very busy time of year, to meet us on the Sunday before at a local park and introduced their beautiful Lab Chase to us. Seeing how well they handled Chase and how understanding they were of Clementine’s intimidation, really eased our minds of my small dog being around a bigger dog and it showed how compassionate these two fun dog loving people are towards their guest dogs and owners. Prior to Clem's stay, they asked all the right questions about how to care for her and what they could do to help with any anxiety, when to feed her how much, etc., We felt very comfortable with them and liked both of them very much!
