I love the stark difference in pet personalities and learning how each of them likes to be cared for. Examples of my past & present clientele: - A family with 7 chihuahuas of varying ages and levels of crazy - A brand new hyperactive Bernedoodle puppy whom I still care for regularly (she's 4 now!) - A sweet lab who liked long, slow walks and bananas - A moody cat who could not care less about me (I have slowly earned the blessing of giving head pats to them now) - A tortoise who inspires me to slow down and eat more greens *my home is a safe space for people and pets from all walks of life* I am available for early morning or evening walks and drop-ins during the week. I am available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday unless I have a family or social event. We have a large back porch and yard with a fenced area for sniffing around. If your pet requires extra exercise, we have a quiet neighborhood to walk around in. About: When not traveling on business trips, I work from my home office, so your dog will receive 24/7 care! I’ve had dogs my entire life and my first job as a tween was pet sitting for neighbors. My current rescue dogs are Jake; a senior Coonhound mix adopted in Tennessee and Kiba, an adult Husky-Great Pyrenees mix adopted locally and is a recovering escape artist. As a former paramedic, I have the skills to administer medications and medical care, as well as to deal with any emergencies. My large backyard is fenced and has a six-foot privacy screen! Our dogs have known that I treat them well, but that I am no “pushover”. In our house, I’m the “General”! I only give a command one time. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was around 5. My brother was very active in the dog community and often took me with him. I took care of his Rotwilliers whenever he vacationed and had several dogs of my own. About: I’ve helped care for pets of my own and my family since I can remember. I adopted 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own almost 8 years ago now. I absolutely adore my fur babies and helping others care for theirs brings me so much joy. I also have now taken on chickens and fish as well, so I have a variety of experience. I’m currently a SAHM homeschooling my oldest and caring for my youngest. I enjoy animals of all kinds, they are my passion and would love to share that with others. Being a SAHM gives me more availability to do drop ins, walks, and care for critters. I have a fenced in yard, which is how I’ve always pottied my dogs, but I’m also happy to walk them on a leash, and have gone back and forth crating my own dog and am happy to do that as well.
About: I’ve been a life time animal lover! I grew up with two dogs, a German Shepherd and a Westie. I currently live on a 300 acre farm with 9 cats. We have a guest house where I will board your pet, so no need to worry about any interaction with my current pets. I can offer a relaxing atmosphere and all day care on weekends along with morning and afternoon care on week days. I can also board or do drop-in visits for fish, hamsters, or horses. Your dog will love a relaxing mountain retreat! Your cat can enjoy a quiet vacation! I work full time as a teacher. I can board your pet all weekends or in the afternoons. I can take crate trained dogs anytime during the week but could only provide potty breaks every 6-8 hours. I am available for dog walks or drop-in visits any day in the afternoon or evening in the Chambersburg, Gettysburg, and Hagerstown areas. Your pet would live only with me in a private guest house. We have 300 acres to go for walks or chase balls! My husband and 9 cats live in the main house. Our cats don’t mind other animals but I can keep your pet away from the cats if you prefer. As a 15 year high school teacher, I am very trustworthy, authentic, and kind. I admit to being a bit of a “crazy animal person” as I try to pet every animal I see! I can be trusted with your animal for an extended time or just an afternoon walk! I can also board hamsters or horses.

I’m happy to handle feeding, watering, litter box cleaning, playtime, companionship, and keeping up with your cat’s normal routine while you’re away. I’m happy to work pet care into my schedule for both weekdays and weekends. I can accommodate drop-in visits, walks, and overnight care depending on the dates and your pet’s needs. I’ll communicate clearly about my availability before booking so we can make sure your pet’s normal routine is covered. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my priority. I’ll follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, routines, and any household rules. I understand that every animal is different, so I’m patient with pets who may be shy, anxious, energetic, or who just need time to warm up to someone new. I’ll also keep you updated while you’re away so you know your pet is safe and doing well.

About: I grew up with cats, dogs and horses, and have been taking care of them since I was 10 years old. I have my own lab mix and a cat. I make sure that the animals I watch are well cared for, safe, fed, entertained, and exercised. I love all animals and really enjoy working with them. I am available anytime to watch pets in my home. I do work some evenings for up to 4 hours and weekends for up to 6 hours. At my home I have one dog and a cat that will be able to keep your pet company. My pets get along very well with other animals. I have a yard, a large field across the street, and a dog park near by I can take dogs to if allowed.
