She communicated just the right amount and sent some lovely pictures. She was accommodating when we needed to slightly modify drop off and pick up times. If your animals are staying in our home, they’ll have access to a spacious yard where dogs can play and run freely. We also have a small dog and a cat who are well-socialized and have done well with other animals during previous stays. However, if any pets need to be separated for comfort or safety, our home is set up to accommodate that easily and without stress. Our main services include boards and drop ins. We also offer house sitting services; however, please note that we are not available for overnight stays at this time. We do not have a fenced in yard so leashes are required, but we do have a gated porch for extra security for sneaky ones. We do have 2 dogs and a cat. Both dogs are in their maturing years and spends most days and night sleeping somewhere. They are friendly and love meeting new friends, but we do have gates through the house if needed, as well as crates. Our cat is friendly but quite antisocial, and is unseen most days. We do have children, but all have been taught since a young age how to be kind and careful with animals. They have learned to respect boundaries as not all animals are the same.

“My boy Veto enjoyed his 9 night stay with Lorraine. We did a meet and greet prior and he warmed up to her and her husband right away. He came home tired from all his walks and took some nice long naps after his stay. All communication with Lorraine was very prompt and I felt very comfortable with leaving him in her care. I would definitely recommend Lorraine!”

“Amanda was very nice, it appeared she was kind to him, and Tweety seemed to be happy with his stay with Amanda and her family. The living quarters were nice and they were clean. She understood all my concerns and why I had them. I feel she is a good fit for Tweety and I. I feel comfortable with another visit. I feel much better today (December 2, 2025) since I was able get out and relax. This was a first for me getting out for a day and doing something for myself. Tweety seemed to be happy with the experience he had with Amanda and her family.”
