Our girls have always been watched at home and they’re a big pair of ladies to accommodate, so we were a bit apprehensive. At our meet and greet Heather was fantastic. About: I have a wide variety of experience with all sorts of animals. I’ve had large and small dogs, cats, rodents, amphibians, and lizards, I even had a pot belly pig, sheep & duck as a child. I also volunteered at a local vet when I was a teenager and gained a lot of hands on experience caring for many types of animals! I’m a stay at home mom and I homeschool my two teenage daughters. They absolutely adore animals as well. I feel this will allow me to spend a lot of one on one time with your pet. Your fur baby will be well cared for and interacted with while they’re here! (Please note that Rover doesn’t consider my children’s ages to count towards, “children being present in our home.” However, I think this information should be available to those who choose to put their pets in my care. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space for your fur baby to run! About: I grew up with a cat as part of the household. I've taken care of cats since I was 12. I have two cats that I rescued from my local shelter, they were the most difficult to place because of prior abuse before coming to the shelter. Now, they are among the most affectionate and friendly cats I've known. They get along with other cats after a couple of sniffs and a hiss on their part.

About: 12 years caring for my own cats and dogs. I love going for walks outside, playing and giving all the belly rubs! Your pets will be in the best hands. I treat every one of them like they are my own. I’m very organized and detail oriented, so if your pet has a strict diet or medicine that needs to be given, that is no problem. I will make sure I give your pet the attention they crave during my visit and make sure they are happy and healthy when I leave. I currently work a full time job but am off Thursdays, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday. So any of those days are usually totally free for me to drop in for a visit. Goats, baby pigs, ferrets, etc. I have a work from home schedule, with an occasional in office day during the week, so majority of my time is spent at home. About: I own 2 huskies. I've volunteered with a dog rescue for 10 years fostering all types of dogs... 50 of them in fact. My husband and I have firefighter/EMT schedules so we're often home during the day, and handle emergencies well. We have an irregular schedule in my house. You will have to check my calendar for availability. We are often home during the week and daytime. My care for my dogs and foster dogs depend on the dog. My female dog is a princess who sleeps on the couch, but my male needs to be kenneled to keep out of trouble. We have a dog door to allow our dogs freedom to go in and out as they please.

About: I have had dogs for the past 30 years. I am an approved foster home for a pug rescue. I have rescued several dogs! The last two years, I have been a dog walker! The dog I recently rescued was a client I walked whose mom was disabled. She needed more care than her mom could give her. We bonded from the first walk, and I knew I could be her forever home! I have a blind/deaf pug as well. I do a lot of housesitting and dogsitting it’s always a joy! My home is on an acre. I have my own business out of my home, and so I am home all day and your pet will not be left alone! I am home all day running my health coach business. Pet care will keep me busy and your animal happy..and the resident dogs will love having playmates! I do have a portion of my yard fenced in so the dogs have lots of room to run and play and be dogs. Dogs are rarely crated unless they are used to that and the owner request that they have time in their crate. I am home the majority of the time. I work from home on a part-time basis so I am with the dogs the majority of the time. When the dogs come to my home, it is like they are on their own little vacation. They have a good time playing with the other dogs and go home tired.

I currently work a full time job but am off Thursdays, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday. So any of those days are usually totally free for me to drop in for a visit. I have 1 acre of property in a quiet neighborhood in littlestown so there’s plenty of room for your pet to play if they so choose. A great neighborhood for walks and plenty of other pets along the way if we want to say hi.
About: I have experience working as a veterinary technician. This experience gives me the skillls to handle older pets, pets that need medications, and pets that have certain medical needs. I have about four years experience currently with pet sitting and have references if you would like them. Overall, I am pretty flexible with my schedule and am normally available on short notice. Depending on your preference I could take your dogs on walks around your neighborhood or take them to a local trail. It is completely up to you what you would like me to do with your pets. I also offer dog boarding and doggy day care. I do have pets if my own, but have the ability to keep them completely separate. I would love to watch your pets for you! I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time for your pets! This gives me the ability to let your pets out every 2-4 hours and make sure they get plenty of play time! I have a fenced in yard and they get a whole level of the house to themselves! I do have pets of my own, but have the ability to keep them separate if needed. They would get plenty of play time and I can walk them around the neighborhood too!

“Lydia was fantastic! She welcomed her home to us with her lovely family including her chickens during our meet and greet. We proceeded to boarding 2 nights with her. Her home provided a warm, cozy and energetic vibe for our Poodle who is out going and craves human interaction. Lydia was not familiar with poodle grooming initially but after a quick demonstration and positive feedback she mastered it in no time. I appreciated her attention to detail, ability to communicate throughout the day and her willingness to learn how to care for specific dog breeds. It was a mutual rewarding experience and she even supervised her children doing obedience training with our pup.”
