“I was SO nervous to board our puppy - we had only had her for three weeks and are new dog owners. We had to make a last minute booking and were going to be away for ten days. Well, by the time we went to pick Winnie up we were worried she wouldn't want to come home with us. Mary worked with Winnie on basic commands, slowing down eating, had great suggestions for how to keep her occupied and even got her hooked on her homemade Pup Pops! We got photos, texts and videos every day which made it possible to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing that our baby was having a GREAT time at her new Auntie's house. Winnie got some really great socialization under the watchful eye of Mary and her husband. You can tell that they adore dogs and they know each dog's personality and quirks. About: I have had pets most of my life. I quit my job and started a non-profit, St. Lewis Foundation, which didnt work out, so all the animals in my care became my pets. They were mostly senior and unwanted animals, which is where my heart is. I am unemployed right now, looking for remote work . So I am home all day. I have the time to let your pup out as many times as he/she wants. If they are a little dog I will be right by their side. I am up 6a - 9p. I have 3 senior cats that sleep up high most of the day, so your pup needs to be okay with cats. All pups sleep with me in my king size bed (if they want to). I have a dog bed next to me in my office or a couch in front of a large front window. I have locked screen security doors in case your pup likes to sniff the air. Central AC (I like it cool) and heating. I have many balls and treats (if allowed) and would love to throw the ball a bit. Back yard is not huge but sufficient. All my dogs have passed and I am missing a dog so much but cant commit right now. So let me love on your pup!

About: Do you ever look at your dog and think how did I get so lucky...Pups to many our like children they get all the love you have to give...Like you the time I am with them I will love and adore them...I've almost always had a dog...My beagle Shelby 15 1/2 passed away on December 20, 2022 and Dante passed away July 4th 2020, I don't have the heart to delete them he was 11 and had been with me the past 4 years since I saved him from the NYC kill shelter on his last day...I trap cats have them fixed and find them homes, some stay (10)....I am active on house sitting sites and travel for sits whenever I have free time from work (photographer)...For years I have taken care of friends cats, dogs, horses, cows, goats and Rizzo the rat... I work a lot from home only gone a few hours at a time if I do need to go out for any jobs or errands... I do have an indoor/outdoor kennel in my barn in the house I have a spare bedroom a pet can have if they need their own space also a mud room which I mostly use for kittens/cats I have trapped...

In July of 2025, we had to put our 14 year old dog, Roxie, down.. This was very depressing as she was the best girl. I currently work full time about 20 minutes from my home, which allows me a greater radius to care for your loved one. About: I am a lover of all pets and have experience ranging from stopping by for bathroom breaks/feeding to overnight house sitting. I have been relied on to walk, feed, and give medication to cats and dogs. I am comfortable with all size pets. I am a young adult with no children and work 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday. I am able to work from home once and month and around the holidays from September to mid-May. I work from home once a week in the summer months. I am also able to leave for lunch so I can easily pop over on my lunch break. After work, I usually just relax and go to the gym so, I would love to be accompanied by your pet! Unfortunately, someone in my household has a pet allergy, but I am more than to stay at the caregiver’s home where the pet is more comfortable. I will follow and comply to any care instructions. I respect others’ spaces and belongings and will leave your home exactly as you left it, if not cleaner (I love cleaning). I have been trusted in others home’s before and understand the significance of that trust. My goal is to keep your pet as comfortable as possible while you are away and I am happy to accommodate all needs to do so! I love cuddles and will play with them. I realize an owner’s absence is usually stressful for pets, and both you and your pet should feel like they’re in good hands! I don’t have a pet of my own, so I will love and give them all the attention they need (:

About: I have cared for so many types of dogs since I was a kid. From little Chihuahuas and Dachshunds to Pitbulls and Rottweilers. I absolutely love them all! I have fresh water out all day and I feed them twice a day. My dogs get a specialized high end kibble which I supplement with fresh meat, organ, eggs, fruits, veggies, goats milk, coconut oil, bone broth, salmon oil, turmeric and a daily vitamin. I wash my dogs as needed or every two weeks. I brush their teeth, fur, and clip their nails weekly as well. I only have high quality chew bones and other toys available that don’t pose a risk as my dogs are heavy chewers.

We do have a designated space for one of my pets due to her tendency to cause destruction if not monitored, but this decision is ultimately based on the needs of each individual pet.
