About: I've taken care of dogs for over a decade from high energy (I have a border collie) to low energy (I also have a shih tzu), elderly, and everything in between. I'd love to make your dog's day by taking them on a walk or giving them an incredible play time. Same goes for your cats! About: As an experienced dog foster, I have cared for more than 25 dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies to senior dogs, representing a wide variety of breeds and sizes. In addition, I was the proud owner of four dogs who each lived long, happy lives and reached their senior years before crossing the Rainbow Bridge. We have multiple-sized dog crates if crating is requested. Although we may be new faces to your four legged companions, we will try to keep consistency in the rules you have at your home. If they are allowed on your couch, then they will be here. Feeding schedule will be dictated by how they ate at home. Walks will be frequent and there is a huge box of dog toys and cat toys to keep them entertained.

About: I potty trained my dog. I can get dogs at ease and occupy them well. I'd say i'm better with younger dogs but I can take care of older dogs as well. I work part time but I wake up at 7am and let Max out. I then feed him and occupy him for a bit until I have to leave for 4 hours and let him out before leaving. When I Get back I take him for his walk and then give him his nightly bone. Before going to bed I let him out again. I have a huge yard so he can run around, not fenced but he is trained to stay in the area. He has toys everywhere and he's allowed to lay in furniture so he sleeps a lot as well. In client houses I'd do whatever they are comfortable with. I can go outside, stay inside, walk or run with them just let me know !
About: I have always loved dogs. I grew up with an English Golden Retriever and learned how to take care of him and give him medicine as he aged. A few years back I got a Border Collie and trained her. I taught her commands from sitting to closing a door to not eat anything off the ground. About: It's nice to meet you! My name is Jess. I have always loved having pets of my own, including my two doodles! I also grew up with a cat and a dog. I am an educator who enjoys taking care of pets; I have worked through Rover for about 5 years now, primarily doing bookings during summers. Over the years, I have watched pets for family members many times. I have stayed at their houses or made frequent visits. I understand the importance of exercise for dogs, and am committed to keeping that routine. I am responsible, helpful, friendly, and passionate about caring for pets and people too. I can even keep up with simple pet grooming, per request. It would be a joy to care for your pet(s) any time! I am located in Manheim, PA and I am willing to travel to homes within about 5 miles. My mother-in-law just turned 100 and my wife arranged a large family gathering for a 4 Day Florida celebration where her mother resides. We scheduled a meet snd greet with Amy and Patrick, Timmy and ourselves. We immediately felt that Timmy would be in good hands and Amy and Patrick disappoint. We received pictures and videos daily of Timmy on walks, playing and at bedtime. They followed our directions for feeding and treats to the letter! About: I've taken care of dogs for over a decade from high energy (I have a border collie) to low energy (I also have a shih tzu), elderly, and everything in between. I'd love to make your dog's day by taking them on a walk or giving them an incredible play time. Same goes for your cats! Whether your pets love activity or simply want someone to watch them sniff in the backyard or hang on the couch, I'd love to bring a highlight to their day. Right now, Friday nights through Sunday are the times I have completely free to dedicate to helping take care of your pets. I'm hoping to add more times soon and options to board. As someone who searches for hours to find the right person to watch my pets, I know how hard it can be to trust someone new to take care of your fur family. Whether it's pictures, reassuring texts, following your instructions exactly, or all 3 I will do my best to make your pets as happy and healthy as possible. I offer drop in visits and walks, so please let me know what you are and aren't comfortable with and I will make sure they are well cared for while giving you as many updates as you'd like!
“Amanda was just what we were looking for! Our fur baby is a11 year old Golden Retriever with some heath issues. We really wanted to find a caring person with children( she loves kids) we knew this would cheer her up,and we were right! As a matter of fact when we picked her up it was almost like she wanted to stay! She was depressed for the first day we brought her home, which to us it was a good sign that she had a good time! We will be bringing her to Amanda in October. I highly recommend her!”
