“We are so grateful to have found Brian to care for our two very special dogs, both of whom come with their own quirks and sensitivities. Our sweet and playful pup, Abbi, gets anxious in new environments, while our 13-year-old, Hank, is mostly sweet and playful but can also be a bit reactive when startled, especially by fast movements or unfamiliar people. Brian was incredible with both of them. Hank warmed up to him almost immediately (something that rarely happens) and seeing him snuggling his head into Brian's hand during one of the daily video updates was a highlight for us. Brian’s calm, confident presence clearly helped both of our dogs feel safe and happy. They had plenty of space to explore, lots of outdoor playtime, and were cared for with patience and attentiveness. In addition to putting our dogs at ease, he also managed to put my husband-who tends to be quite anxious about leaving them-at ease, as well. The daily video updates, thoughtful care, and dog-friendly environment made all the difference.”

“I live in VA but was traveling to PA to go snowboarding on a last minute trip. None of my regular sitters were available so I decided to look in PA. Kristina and Mark were great! Thor had such a great time with their 3 German Shepherds. I was really impressed with how they handled the meet and greet. Kristina brought each dog out one at a time to meet Thor. Then they all came out together and made Thor feel right at home. Kristina sent pictures and videos, and Thor was always smiling! I snowboard a lot in PA, so I'll definitely be requesting them to watch Thor again.”
About: I've had pets all my life cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, Bunnies, and taken car of horses. I love animals and am not afraid of their messes. During the summer I have plenty of time to take care of pets though during the school year certain times of day I won't be available due to classes. I've learned to come at pets with the caution they need. I'm very friendly and always want to be sweet to pets but I can be tough if the situation calls for it to not let animals walk all over me. I love animals and like taking the time for their needs.

Since graduating, I have compiled formal experience working with both domestic animals, wildlife and protection of their habitat. I had the privilege to work abroad in Botswana, Africa at game reserves where we were able to rehabilitate animals, provide game drives, supplemental feeding etc., and interned at Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana, Africa, caring for animals in rehabilitation. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. Thank you for your understanding schedule limitations during this transition. Please communicate with me your dogs needs i.e.; whether your pet has separation anxiety, medical needs or food allergies, usual routines that make them feel safe, enrichment or husbandry that helps positively stimulate them mentally and emotionally, triggers to be mindful of/avoid, whether they have off leash recall or there are chase drive trigger concerns and they must stay leashed at all times, and anything else you feel is relevant so we may collaborate on their care plan to provide them the best support. I do have a large crate available for dogs that are most comfortable with crate training when it is necessary to leave them at home. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.

About: I’ve had experience with cats my entire life. As an adult, I’ve taken in stray cats, helped rehome others, and even cared for two kittens who were born under my house in California. Those two made a cross-country move with me to Pennsylvania and lived long, happy lives to the ages of 18 and 19. I currently share my home with two senior rescue cats and am also caring for a barn cat who appeared during the last snowstorm—I’m confident we’ll be friends in time. About: I have grown up with cats and during late middle school years I have took care of my grandparents cats by providing food, water, and entertainment while they went on vacation. I have volunteered at my local animal shelter to entertain and walk the dogs, and recently have had experience house sitting a dog and two cats for two weeks with providing water every day, proper scheduled food, keeping the litter cleaned three times a day and as needed, and took the dog on walks every day to keep her active as well as making sure the cats never got bored. I’m a WVU freshman who is currently working towards majoring in Animal and Nutritional Sciences to pursue a dream job as a veterinarian. I am hoping to gain more experience with your beloved furry friends and a little extra cash in-between my semester breaks! About: As long as I can remember growing up we always had animals mostly dogs. As I got older I have always been the one my friends and family come to when they need someone to care for their pets. I would pet sit, take them on walks , stay with them and play with them. I am a true dog lover through and through. I have had dogs my whole life . My son has 5 dogs and pretty much everyone I know is a pet lover so no matter where I go I’m around animals. I watch dogs for friends and my son often. Ive taken care of dogs with disabilities for example my mom’s shih tzu has a bad back and cant walk well. And ive taken care of large breeds such as great danes and golden doodles. I love animals i think they are so much fun to be around and their spirit just leaves you so happy. I have 3 dogs and 2 reptiles in the home. But on top of being good with animals i also am excellent with people i have been a manager trainer. And spokesperson for many of my jobs. About: I have had all different animals all my life. I grew up working on a family farm, so I have experience with all different animal species. We currently live in Berlin with our 4 children, Great Dane Bella, and a mixture of farm animals. I attended PSU studying animal science, minoring in equine science. I am excited to meet your furry family members! I currently am a stay at home mom, so I’m very flexible! I am available for visits, drop ins, walks, day sitting in my home, and overnight boarding. I have a fenced in yard connected to my house, with locks on the gates. I also have an outdoor dog kennel and dog house if you have a dog that stays outdoors. In the home we have an older Great Dane, but she likes to keep to herself and is a certified couch potato. We have several gates up in our house to keep pets safely separated. I welcome dog crates if you have them, or I do have a few I could use here if that is easier. We have a large property where we can take walks, or we even live close to a bike trail we can walk at. I have done drop in visits for puppies and dogs in the past, and have had great feedback. I can stay for a length of time and let your pets get some exercise and play. About: I have a female Siberian Husky named Onyx who I raised and trained from a puppy. I grew up and had been around dogs small to very large. My family had a German Shepherd/Malmute mix and a Pomeranian that I would watch during their vacation trips. I can take your dog on walks with mine to the park, stop in to feed and let your dog out, or watch your dog for the day. My dog is very friendly and has grown up around other dogs of all energy levels. I’m currently working part-time, so my schedule is more flexible to align to you and your pets needs. I’m new to this service so it will be a learning experience at first, but I want to provide a safe and fun experience for your pet! I have a small apartment that your dog is more than welcome to spend the day in with me and my dog. I can also drop by at multiple times during the day, depending on the location. If you prefer to have your dog stay at your house, I won’t be able to spend the entire day there, but will gladly take them on a short/long walk (depending on preference), feed them and refill water.

(I pay my sister personally out of my own pocket, no extra fee for you!). *I’ll do feedings for lizards as I have had a few bearded dragon myself as well so I’m knowledgeable here also. (But under no circumstances ask me to care for your snake!) *I offer walks, playtime, feeding & water breaks, treat time, medication administration all in my standard fee. Anything else, just ask! I’m very flexible & willing to work out most things if we can come to an agreement suitable for both sides. Can’t wait to meet the furry parts of your family.🐾 Pretty much available whenever. About: I have grown up with cats and during late middle school years I have took care of my grandparents cats by providing food, water, and entertainment while they went on vacation. I have volunteered at my local animal shelter to entertain and walk the dogs, and recently have had experience house sitting a dog and two cats for two weeks with providing water every day, proper scheduled food, keeping the litter cleaned three times a day and as needed, and took the dog on walks every day to keep her active as well as making sure the cats never got bored. About: I have been an animal lover my whole life. I was raised around dogs and cats from the time I was born. I was a dog sitter for a few years, but I currently don't have the space for it in my home. I have experience in dog grooming, and I cut my own dogs hair. About: I work hard to make the sweet puppys ( or adult dog) have a happy time as possible. Also, I having experience with senior dog who needs understanding and patients and just as much love if not more. I am general manager at a pizza shop, I am single. I would have time to help a dog or cat get attention or other animals. I have had mice, rats and fresh water fish, dogs and cats. Dogs need time to burn off energy, so I would walk with them , play ball or frisbee, depending on what they prefer. Also, bigger dogs from my experience like to tug on ropes or stuff animals.
About: I've had pets since I was born. I've fostered cats, kittens, and elderly dogs for shelters, and have experience pet sitting for dogs of a variety of sizes. Sometimes those sits were for 4 weeks at a time. I also have experience giving dogs medication and am familar with the different medications having been in a shelter environment and having a mom who worked in a vets office. I've had my own deaf dog for 11 years now and am very familiar with the care involved with a dog with special needs. I've also adopted senior dogs and know what kind of care they require. About: I’ve grown up with dogs and I’ve always known I wanted to work with them. After working at a dog daycare, that feeling only grew stronger. I adore caring for dogs or any pets! Even with all of their very different personalities I love every single one of them and would care for them as if they were my own. I am completely free during the summer to give your pet lots of love! In the fall I have complete availability besides my morning classes :) I can’t care for many pets in my own home considering I do live in a small apartment. MY DETAILED RESPONSE TO THE REVIEWED LEFT BY DEBBY- I wanted to give a detailed breakdown of what happened with Debby since rover will not take down the review even though they did a thorough investigation with photos/video and nasty messages sent by Debby to me. I took on this booking even though I had a gut feeling not to, but I ignored it and I wish I had not done that. I was asked last minute by Debby to care for her diabetic cat, she told me her cat was great with strangers and would have no issue with taking the insulin shots from me (lie number one). The morning of my first visit, Debby had messaged me informing she had birds in the house and to not pay attention to them.. now let me start off by saying that due to a past traumatic experience with a previous clients birds, I have developed a fear of being near them in close spaces (to which she pokes fun at in her review) and had I known she had them, I would not have accepted this booking. I was hesitant to enter her house but she said they were in a cage so I proceeded with the visit, upon opening her door one of the birds almost FLEW OUTSIDE because they were NOT in a cage(lie number two). I was immediately concerned by this not only due to my fear of birds but due to this being a safety risk considering the birds could’ve flew out the door if I didn’t get to it in time. After this happened, I wanted to turn around and leave but I couldn’t because I needed to give her cat an insulin shots. After I went upstairs, I could not find the cat anywhere and after ten minutes I found her hiding under the bed hissing at me, she was in no way friendly towards strangers. I did my best to get her to come with me, I was at the visit way longer than the scheduled 30 minutes to try to make sure her cat got the shot. After I was finally able to lure her out with a treat, I had to quickly grab her and administer the shot.. she clawed at me and bit me several times (photo proof was sent to rover). I was very taken back by this visit due to unexpected birds and a cat who was the complete opposite of what their owner described. I felt unsafe to continue the booking and feared that due to the cat’s unwillingness to come to me that she might not get her shots injected properly so her health was my number one priority, I immediately called rover support to report everything that had happened and I also informed Debby at the same time. Debby was awful to me, made fun of me and treated me with complete disregard and through all of that, I still remained calm, collective and professional. After she had hinted at threatening me, I cut off all contact with her and immediately reported that to rover as well. At that point it was now rover and Debby’s responsibility for the cats care, I felt even more unsafe after the awful things Debby said to me. I didn’t have to but I even worked with rover to find another sitter and wanted them to make sure they made others aware of the trust situation, I even offered to take the cat it’s vet or local cat sitting agency but that was denied and rover told me they would handle it all. After one week, I found that my rover account had been suspended and I had to call rover and speak with over ten different reps in one week to get my account back.. finally after they realized I had done NO wrong and it was all the pet owner, I got my account back and a lengthy apology from Rover. Upon getting my account back, I noticed Debby had left that review and I was devastated by that. I have worked so hard on this app to give the best care for others animals and that’s been proven by every other review just for hers to completely destroy all the good I’ve been doing by lying. I’m truly upset with Rover for not only allowing that review to be left there, but for allowing Debby to even still have an account after her lies, threats and defamation. I hope that no other rover sitters go through what I did with her. With all of that being said, I refuse to delete my account and start over as I want people to see all the good I’ve done and to be aware of what truly happened with Debby. I hope to continue to provide the best care possible for all my current rover clients and future ones, please do not let one woman’s lies deter you away from someone who truly loved and care for animals with her whole heart. About: As long as I can remember growing up we always had animals mostly dogs. As I got older I have always been the one my friends and family come to when they need someone to care for their pets. I would pet sit, take them on walks , stay with them and play with them. I am a true dog lover through and through. I have had dogs my whole life . My son has 5 dogs and pretty much everyone I know is a pet lover so no matter where I go I’m around animals. I watch dogs for friends and my son often. Ive taken care of dogs with disabilities for example my mom’s shih tzu has a bad back and cant walk well. And ive taken care of large breeds such as great danes and golden doodles. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 7 when we first got our pug, Loki. He's 14 now. We also got a bulldog, Chubb's. I've walked, fed, and bathed them ever since. I've also taken care of some of my friends pets. For example, I took care of two Australian cattle dogs, fed them, walked them, played with them, bathed them. Our sweet and playful pup, Abbi, gets anxious in new environments, while our 13-year-old, Hank, is mostly sweet and playful but can also be a bit reactive when startled, especially by fast movements or unfamiliar people. Brian was incredible with both of them. Hank warmed up to him almost immediately (something that rarely happens) and seeing him snuggling his head into Brian's hand during one of the daily video updates was a highlight for us. About: Hi Loving Furparents, My lifelong passion is interspecies communication, animal care & behavior, ecology, and environmental conservation. I have grown up communicating, training/learning, caretaking, and translating for animals my entire life, and I continue to follow my passion for animal care, rehabilitation, conservation, and helping others learn to listen and communicate with animals. I have recently lost my soul dog and partner of nearly 16 years to osteosarcoma. I have experience with caretaking during mobility issues for both animals, using help-em-up harnesses and wheelchairs. I had the privilege to work abroad in Botswana, Africa at game reserves where we were able to rehabilitate animals, provide game drives, supplemental feeding etc., and interned at Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana, Africa, caring for animals in rehabilitation. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. Thank you for your understanding schedule limitations during this transition. Please communicate with me your dogs needs i.e.; whether your pet has separation anxiety, medical needs or food allergies, usual routines that make them feel safe, enrichment or husbandry that helps positively stimulate them mentally and emotionally, triggers to be mindful of/avoid, whether they have off leash recall or there are chase drive trigger concerns and they must stay leashed at all times, and anything else you feel is relevant so we may collaborate on their care plan to provide them the best support. I do have a large crate available for dogs that are most comfortable with crate training when it is necessary to leave them at home. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.

Sunday I go to church it’s only estimated 2 hours long they will be crated while I’m away. I own a Yorkie, and I have chickens in my backyard. I don’t have a fence so you will need a lease so I can walk them.

My shepherd was very elderly & required extra love & care also. *I offer basic kitty care. (Also if you don’t mind if I bring my sister along she is EXCEPTIONAL with cats more so than I am. I cannot host cats in my home due to the prey drive of my husky, sometimes she’s ok with them, other times not. But I or my sister & I both will come to you! (I pay my sister personally out of my own pocket, no extra fee for you!). *I’ll do feedings for lizards as I have had a few bearded dragon myself as well so I’m knowledgeable here also. (But under no circumstances ask me to care for your snake!) *I offer walks, playtime, feeding & water breaks, treat time, medication administration all in my standard fee. Anything else, just ask! I’m very flexible & willing to work out most things if we can come to an agreement suitable for both sides. Can’t wait to meet the furry parts of your family.🐾 Pretty much available whenever. I can usually work out something that’s suitable if I am not. Reach out with any questions! We can almost always work out an agreement. No fence but my yard is safe, multiple leashes, 2 porches, in a friendly community for walks. Small home but very lovable and friendly and cozy.
