Our sweet and playful pup, Abbi, gets anxious in new environments, while our 13-year-old, Hank, is mostly sweet and playful but can also be a bit reactive when startled, especially by fast movements or unfamiliar people. Brian was incredible with both of them. Hank warmed up to him almost immediately (something that rarely happens) and seeing him snuggling his head into Brian's hand during one of the daily video updates was a highlight for us. Brian’s calm, confident presence clearly helped both of our dogs feel safe and happy. They had plenty of space to explore, lots of outdoor playtime, and were cared for with patience and attentiveness. About: Ive taken care of dogs every size. teaching new tricks, going on walks, and ice cream is something I enjoy doing with a fur baby I currently work full time night shift. I work 12 hrs shifts so my other 4 days during the week are open to helping other animal lovers with their babies. Because without the help I receive on my work days I would b very stressed. I have an unfunded yard but I love going on walks. Me and my dog ( henny) are always going hiking, fishing, to the dog park, or just out for a car ride. Henny loves all dogs and has lots of energy to play.

About: Being around dogs has been the foundation of my life since the age of 3. From caring for my own pets, helping our neighbor who bred collies, and caring for dogs while also caring for my patients at work as a home health occupational therapist, I feel like every pet is part of my family. My heart is full around any four legged friend and I strive to care for them, show them the deepest love, and teach them as I do my own children. It’s in my blood! I currently work as a home health OT with a flexible schedule during the day. I also have windows of time during the evenings and weekends to care for any pet. About: Many years ago I used to take care of my neighbors' golden retriever. This led to dog-sitting at my house, house-sitting, cat-sitting, plenty of dog walking, as well as some hiking with dogs. Even now, golden retrievers are one of my favorite breeds. Whenever I have a Rover booking I try to spend as much time with the dog as possible. For short stays (1-4 days) I usually don't have to leave the dog home alone at all. For longer stays I try to minimize time away and when I am out it's typically very brief - running a couple of errands, grocery store, etc. My house has a large, well maintained yard with plenty of room for dogs to play and "do their business". My yard isn't fenced, so I'll keep dogs on a leash at all times when outside. If your dog likes hiking I'm an avid hiker and have found that hiking always goes better with dogs!

About: I have had all different animals all my life. I grew up working on a family farm, so I have experience with all different animal species. We currently live in Berlin with our 4 children, Great Dane Bella, and a mixture of farm animals. I attended PSU studying animal science, minoring in equine science. I am excited to meet your furry family members! I currently am a stay at home mom, so I’m very flexible! I am available for visits, drop ins, walks, day sitting in my home, and overnight boarding. I have a fenced in yard connected to my house, with locks on the gates. I also have an outdoor dog kennel and dog house if you have a dog that stays outdoors. In the home we have an older Great Dane, but she likes to keep to herself and is a certified couch potato. We have several gates up in our house to keep pets safely separated. I welcome dog crates if you have them, or I do have a few I could use here if that is easier. We have a large property where we can take walks, or we even live close to a bike trail we can walk at. I have done drop in visits for puppies and dogs in the past, and have had great feedback. I can stay for a length of time and let your pets get some exercise and play. All dogs will need to be current on vaccines and flea and tick care. Please keep in mind when you pay for one day it covers you for 24 hrs. So if you bring your baby at 6 a.m. you will be covered till 6 a.m. the following day. Any hours after that is $6.00 an hour. If you book for more than a weekend, I can be flexible (1 to 2 hrs) due to flight delays, etc. Thank you! I'm currently not working outside home so no matter what your little ones will have someone here at all times. I feed everyone seperately and we walk when weather permits. We have potty pads available for comfort in between outings. I allow access to my whole home and will enjoy a walk once a day or more weather permitting. We have a great time individually and daily with all our little ones.

About: I've been a pet sitter for about 15 years. My german shepherd came into my life 7 years ago which gave me another view of pet care experience. I have worked with and cared for dogs with anxiety, fear, aggression, and in need of extra cognitive stimulation. Okay with giving meds and teaching tricks. Currently, I'm working nursing shifts as needed, with running errands on my days off. I'm more often available than not and have flexibility to work around others schedule. I have a back door doggy door that leads into a fenced in back yard (approx half an acre). I also live in a small neighborhood (very little traffic) with about a mile loop for walks. About: While I have the most experience with cats due to having my own cats, I have grown up around many dogs. My family had a chihuahua growing up, and many of my family members have had dogs such as dachshunds, terrier mixes, GSPs, and labs, and I would watch and walk them when my family members went on vacation. I also have some experience with some odder pets like hamsters, freshwater aquariums, or feeding crickets and bugs to spiders (or other carnivorous bugs), geckos, and frogs. I am also knowledgeable of and comfortable handling reptiles and birds :) I am currently a full-time student and work part-time on the weekends. However, there are many gaps in my class schedule where I can fit in a couple visits or walks ! Our sweet and playful pup, Abbi, gets anxious in new environments, while our 13-year-old, Hank, is mostly sweet and playful but can also be a bit reactive when startled, especially by fast movements or unfamiliar people. Brian was incredible with both of them. Hank warmed up to him almost immediately (something that rarely happens) and seeing him snuggling his head into Brian's hand during one of the daily video updates was a highlight for us. About: Ive taken care of dogs every size. teaching new tricks, going on walks, and ice cream is something I enjoy doing with a fur baby I currently work full time night shift. I work 12 hrs shifts so my other 4 days during the week are open to helping other animal lovers with their babies. Because without the help I receive on my work days I would b very stressed. I have an unfunded yard but I love going on walks. Me and my dog ( henny) are always going hiking, fishing, to the dog park, or just out for a car ride. Henny loves all dogs and has lots of energy to play.
About: Being around dogs has been the foundation of my life since the age of 3. From caring for my own pets, helping our neighbor who bred collies, and caring for dogs while also caring for my patients at work as a home health occupational therapist, I feel like every pet is part of my family. My heart is full around any four legged friend and I strive to care for them, show them the deepest love, and teach them as I do my own children. It’s in my blood! I currently work as a home health OT with a flexible schedule during the day. I also have windows of time during the evenings and weekends to care for any pet. Teaching my sons responsibility and skills required to care well for animals are just an added bonus! I own my home with a large yard in the rear of the home. About: I have loved and cared for 10 of my own fur friends(6 dogs, 4 cats) and been so lucky to love and care for many many more. From farm to house to tank to pen I have cared for pretty much everything except insects and arachnids. I've spent nights with road side rescues that became beloved family members, I've taken my bottle feeding resuce squirrel camping in a shoe box in my sleeping bag, I've fed horses and chickens in a blizzard. I've gently loved the old ones that are hanging on just a little bit longer and I've welcomed the brand new ones to this great big world. I am currently working part-time and have the flexibility to work around your schedule. Overnights and holidays are available with at home and boarding options. Lots of walks! About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. We currently have a goldendoodle named Charlie who is our whole world. I love all animals and promise to go above and beyond to meet their needs. I work part time two days a week. I am home full time the other five days of the week. I may or may not accept bookings on the days that I work depending on the needs you are looking for. We currently have a goldendoodle named Charlie! We do have a toddler present in the home with a baby on the way as well. Asking that all dogs you are seeking care for are good with other dogs and small children.
