About: I am available all day every week and weekend. I am a very big dog lover and am kind hearted. I enjoy being outside and love being with furry friends. I am recently unemployed. I have had a lot of experience with dogs and grew up with multiple puppies. I lost a large amount of weight in Highschool from walking with my family dog twice everyday, throughout the summer and fall seasons. I believe greatly that animals need to be exercised everyday in order to live a full and happy life. With a willing to travel far distances and the ability to work with all breeds I hope to be a good choice for anyone who needs a dog sitter or dog walker. Thank you.
“Jaideep and his family were wonderful with our Frenchie Guinness. They made us feel so at ease during the meet and greet, and we enjoyed our vacation immensely not having to worry if our pup was OK. It was wonderful receiving updates and pictures several times a day, keeping us informed on how G was doing during our absence. We will definitely use him again!”

“Laura continues to take great care of our Australian labradoodle, Finn. He loves her house, where he gets plenty of exercise and playtime with other dogs, as well as a morning walk and lots of cuddles. Finn doesn't like to be away from us, but at Laura's house he heads right inside and doesn't look back. It's comforting to know that Finn is well cared for and happy, basically having his own vacation while we are on vacation. You can just tell how much Laura loves dogs!! And Finn loves Laura. We'll be back!”

“Rebecca was wonderful! Responded quickly to initial inquiry and communicated timely throughout the weekend. She sent lots of photos of my dog which made me feel so comfortable to see her happy and relaxed. Highly recommend Rebecca!”

“Angel is an amazing dog sitter!! She’s nurturing, attentive, and will take great care of your dogs. I could not have asked for anyone better! My two dogs were happy when I picked them up, and it was obvious that they were very well taken care of.”

“Thank you so much De’Andra for taking such good loving care of our pup, Bentley. We had such peace of mind and hearts being away knowing Bentley was in the best hands and being treated with such love. Your regular check ins, videos and pictures of him filled our hearts with joy and allowed us to enjoy our time away knowing he was also having the bestest time with you, your husband and the other doggies. ❤️”

“Teresa kept my Bella for 10 days while I was gone for my wedding and honeymoon. She kept me updated with pictures and videos while I was gone which was great! When I returned Bella was happy and calm! Anytime I board her a the vet she is a bit wound up and upset when I get back. This wasn’t the case after staying with Teresa! Thank you for taking care of Bella!”

“Maggie stayed with Betsy Saturday thru Monday. Once again Betsy has gone above and beyond with our Maggie (corgi). Apparently Maggie decided to act like a cat and at 3:00 AM she decided to start doing the zoomies and play with her toys. Betsy was okay with that!! Betsy is like having a grandparent for your dog. She likes to spoil them!! Which is great to have.”

“Tiffany immediately put us at ease. The attention she paid, not only to our needs, but the needs of our dog also. She kept us informed as to the activities she and Andy were doing, and sent numerous photos. He acted like he didn’t want to leave at the end of his stay.”
“Heather and Tony took great care of Yogi. Spoiled him and sent many pictures of him cuddling with them. We got a picture every day. It was nice know he was well taken care of”

“Sandra was so sweet to my little kitty Thor. Thank you for making a special safe place for him for a few days. I appreciate your help, Thor was very well taken care of.”

“Bobbi was amazing and one of a kind. I have no worries when she watched my baby boy. She kept me updated with photos, open communication, and shared videos throughout the few days which made my mama's heart worry less. I will not hesitate to rebook her. I joked that I wanted to stay because of her welcoming, sweet presence. Absolutely genuinely will rebook Bobbi. Chance will be so happy to come play with her 2 little lovely girls again!”

“Kona loved her stay with Pam and Mike! And we felt so good leaving her with them. Lots of photos and updates while we were away. We will definitely be booking with them again in the future!”

“**Exceptional Dog Sitting Service!** I can't say enough good things about Kathy! From the moment we met her, I could tell she truly love and understand dogs. She took such wonderful care of my furry friend, making sure every need was met—timely walks, and cuddles to make Arlo feel right at home. I received updates, adorable photos, and even a little summary of how his day was going. If you're looking for someone reliable, caring, and attentive to watch your dog, I highly recommend Kathy”

“Abigail was great! We needed a last minute sitter for our 1yr old pup for a 10 day trip and Abigail accommodated us with no problem! She was even willing to do a meet and greet before the stay. My 1yr old still has puppy like behaviors which I warned her about and she had no problem as well! My pup also loved spending time with her very friendly dog and kids! She also communicated very well with great response times. Will definitely have Abigail sit for us if needed again!”

“Michelle is genuinely and totally awesome! She graciously agreed to board my Bear for over a month and care for him until I was able to rehome him. Please read through this review if you’re looking for a truly trustworthy, sincere, loving and caring dog-sitter... Upon our initial meet n’ greet Michelle was professional yet really down-to-earth which helped to make me feel like I was leaving Bear with a dear friend. Her love for dogs was obvious from the first meet. It was raining on the day we met and Michelle without hesitation sat on the ground to greet Bear and he took a liking to her immediately! Throughout Bear’s stay Michelle took Bear everywhere. He enjoyed his long walks in the park and trips to friends. Each time I visited I was excited to see how comfortable and relaxed Bear’s temperament was and how much he had grown. You’ll understand in the next few paragraphs.... I am so grateful for Michelle for many things yet, there are three things I’d like to mention here that meant the world to me which is why I would highly recommend anyone looking for a caring, loving, genuine, dog-mom to consider Michelle. Firstly, I informed Michelle early on that I hadn’t socialized Bear very much at all in the past. This was somewhat of a concern for me as I was rehoming Bear and having him feel more comfortable with strangers and other dogs would help him. Michelle willing and successfully socialized Bear with strangers and other dogs as well as provided me with regular updates on his progress. She’s done amazing work with Bear which I will be forever grateful for! And, Bear’s a happier dog because of it!!!! Secondly, having to rehome Bear was and is truly a difficult decision. Bear recently loss his dog companion brother of 7 years to cancer, separated from his dog-father and he had to relocate to another state. So Bear has experienced much loss and changes over the past few months. However, with Michelle boarding Bear until his adoption was complete helped to provide Bear with stability - one-loving-home-to-stay. She cared for his every need, played with him, kissed and hugged him, and really really spoiled him! :) Lastly, during the rehome process Michelle willing participated in the meet n’ greets and offered her experiences with Bear with potential adoptees. She both traveled and welcomed them into her home. Most, most. most importantly is how instrumental she was in helping me to get Bear adopted. She without my asking created amazing n’ adorable YouTube adoption videos of Bear for me to upload on Bear’s online adoption profiles. I also uploaded some of the pics she took of Bear during his stay. As of this review, Bear has an awesome new dog-mommy and I give much of the credit to Michelle, most definitely!!!! Michelle was-is a life-saver for both me and Bear. And, on top of everything I made a great friend....Thank you Michelle!!!!!”

“Korine and Matt were so kind and thoughtful and took amazing care of Evie! Evie can have a bit of a hard time warming up to people, but she fell in love with them so quickly! They are my first choice when coming back to visit the area! I can't thank them enough!!!!”

“We had such a good experience working with Sowmya and her family! They took amazing care of our 11 year old German Shepherd. We got regular updates and several photos each day, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. By the photos and the way my dog was when we picked her up, it was clear that she felt very comfortable and happy during her stay. We even had a significant flight delay and returned home much later than expected. They were extremely understanding and flexible and with us. We’ll definitely be booking with them again!! Highly recommend!”

“Michelle is the best! She gave us daily progress reports and pictures. She took care of Papi like family. She even brushed his teeth. Papi is usually afraid of everything and everyone, but warmed up to Michelle and her dog, Emmy, quickly. She gave us such peace of mind while we were away. I highly recommend her and will use her again.”

“Sadie did great taking care of my two cats. Contacted her on a little bit of a short notice and she was willing to take care of my two cats while I went to the beach. Each day she would send pictures and provide info on what she did while watching my two cats. Will definitely look to continue to have her watch my cats in the future! Definitely recommend her!”

“Lily took excellent care of our cats, including our elderly cat who needs medication and has been having challenges using the litter box. One of our other cats is very shy, but he warmed up to Lily and let her pet him & didn’t hide like he usually does with visitors. The cats & the house were all in great condition when we returned from our vacation. We are so happy to have booked with Lily!”
“Heather is wonderful! She dropped in to take care of my two cats last weekend. She is caring, loving, attentive, and respectful with my cats and home. She ensured my cats had everything they needed. Heather communicated well with me with fun pics, videos and notes. I look forward to having Heather pet sit again soon!”

“Mackenzie was great! She took fantastic care of our four cats while we were away. Communication was effortless, and the photo updates were wonderful. She was very reliable, trustworthy, and caring,”

“Nicole was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of my cats while I was away and gave me complete peace of mind. She kept me updated with photos and messages, and it was obvious they were in caring, capable hands. I came home to happy, well-cared-for cats and everything just as I left it. I truly appreciate the attention and love she gave them. I would recommend Nicole to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate pet sitter. Thank you again!”

“Alyssa did a great job dropping in on our 4 cats while we were away for 2 weeks. We felt comfortable that they were being well tended to. We appreciated the daily updates and photos!”

“Sadie is amazing! She took my pet sitting request with short notice and was very easy to work with. She made sure to keep me up to date with detailed messages during her time sitting my kitten and even sent me pictures showing him being comfortable and playful around her. She also went above and beyond and did extra things around the house which I appreciated very much. She’s very respectful and professional. I will definitely request her again for my next pet sitting. Thanks Sadie!”

“Victoria takes cat-sitting to another level! My kitty can tend to be shy around new people, but Victoria has such a calm, friendly presence that he warmed up to her almost immediately the first time, and on this re-booking, remembered her and was instantly comfortable with her again. She took such good, thoughtful, above-and-beyond care of him while i was out of town, that I would very highly recommend her to anyone - she is a pleasure to work with, and a top-notch cat care-giver!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since as early as I can remember. Honestly I get along with animals better then people! We've always had a dog and more recently cats. My in-laws ask for my help when they take a trip and I am always happy to help! Currently I am caring for my kids during most of the day but I am open on evenings and weekends as needed! I'll try to fit anything in that I can! I'll always greet the animals first and make sure they are comfortable with me. Then I check for water and food. Once I make sure those are good we are off for play time or walk time!

“Zandra did an amazing job- our three cats were so well taken care of, we got lots of great updates and our house was spotless on return. We couldn’t ask for more- 10 stars! Thank you Zandra!!!!”

“Brandy is amazing! I highly recommend her help. She was so friendly, prompt and responsive and clearly cares about and is a natural with animals. I could tell my cats were in very good hands. Thanks again, Brandy!”

About: All dogs melt my heart ❤️ 'The world would be a nicer place if everyone had the ability to love as unconditionally as a dog.' — M.K. Clinton Hi, my name is Laura, and caring for animals is truly my dream job—a passion that never feels like work! I’ve been a proud Rover host since 2022, and in August 2026, I relocated from Wayne, NJ to Harrisburg, PA. The hardest part of the move was saying goodbye to all my sweet fur friends, but as my past client reviews attest, the love, devotion, and care I give to every animal remains my top priority. Over the past 27 years, I’ve owned six beloved fur babies, cared for countless amazing pups, and fostered through the New Jersey Boxer Rescue—helping rescue dogs learn to trust and feel safe before finding their forever homes. Today, my two rescue dogs and two high school-aged sons share my passion for pets—we truly treat every animal like family! I offer overnight boarding in a cozy, welcoming home environment, strictly limiting care to a maximum of 3 families and 8 dogs total (including my own) to ensure every guest receives personalized love and attention. I am also thrilled to offer dog walking and drop-in visit services for cats and all household pets in our new community! IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Meet & Greet Required: All new bookings require a Meet & Greet—at my home for boarding requests, and at the client’s home for dog walking and drop-in services. Drop-Off & Pick-Up Hours: All drop-offs and pick-ups must occur between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM within an agreed-upon 1-hour window, unless otherwise arranged. Spay/Neuter Policy: All dogs boarding over 10 months old must be spayed or neutered—no exceptions. (Not required for walks or drop-in visits). Rates & Behavior Policy: Rates may vary based on your pet’s specific needs and training. Additional charges may apply for dogs working on house-training or boundary control, as well as senior pets requiring extra care and attention. Damage Policy: Clients are responsible for reimbursing any significant property damage caused by their pet. A Little About Me: Running Camp Pawsome full-time gives me a flexible schedule to dedicate plenty of time, care, and attention to all animals in my care. Whether I’m hosting overnight boarding in my home, taking dogs out for invigorating walks, or dropping in to care for cats and other household pets, your animals are treated like family. While managing my home and family is part of my daily routine, boarding pups are never left alone for more than 2 hours at a time, and every visiting pet receives attentive, loving, and personalized care. Your Pet’s Safety & Comfort Come First My top priority is every animal’s safety and well-being—whether they are staying at my home or cared for in yours. Boarding dogs are always monitored when together and are never left unsupervised in the yard. Each pup (or family of pups) has their own private space for feeding, sleeping, and quiet time. To create a calm environment, I play soothing music during rest periods. All rooms in my home are under video surveillance, which I monitor from both my kitchen screen and phone, ensuring complete peace of mind at all times. I am prepared to handle a wide range of needs and easily adapt to your pet's routine, whether for boarding, neighborhood walks, or drop-in care for cats and other animals. An Experience That Feels Like a Vacation Your pets will feel loved and pampered while under my care! During boarding stays and visits, they’ll enjoy: A private, fully fenced-in yard backing up to scenic golf course and mountain views—perfect for lounging, sniffing, and relaxing Splash time in baby pools for pups who love water fun on hot days Active games like fetch, chase, and tug-of-war in the yard or on brisk walks Dedicated drop-in care for cats and other pets in their own home (feeding, play, litter/habitat care, and affection) Rainy day fun with indoor games like bubbles, laser chase, treat mazes, and gentle enrichment When it’s time to rest, dogs can curl up on a fluffy pillow, a cozy couch, or play with a variety of toys available throughout the house. If you prefer your dog to be crated, or if they feel most secure that way, I can easily accommodate that. Location & Environment

About: I have cared for friends cats in the past, providing drop in visits two times each day. This included feeding, scooping the litter box, washing and changing out water and food bowls, and playing with the cats for a little bit.

“I cannot recommend Shyann enough! I had to make a last-minute booking, and they completely exceeded my expectations. Even with the short notice, they insisted on doing a meet-and-greet to make sure my dog was comfortable and that all instructions were clear—a level of professionalism and care I truly didn't expect given the tight timeline. They are reliable, incredibly sweet with my pup, and provided fantastic updates. It is such a relief to find someone so dependable and accommodating. I will absolutely be booking again!”

“This was our second time having Quinn drop-in over several days to care for our cat, Oreo. As before, I felt very comfortable and confident entrusting Oreo to her care while we were away.”

“I had to make a last minute trip and was worried about my girl being alone since I wasn’t optimistic there would be anyone to take her as a last minute. Fortunately, Jaideep responded back quickly and said he’d take care of her. The communication was great and he sent many pictures and updates throughout the day. My Luna looked like she was having a blast and looked calm. I will definitely be asking for Jaideep’s help with Luna again in the future.”

“Sujeong was extremely responsive; she sent pictures of pepper regularly. She went above and beyond to make pepper feel comfortable; my dog is usually very nervous and shy with someone new but I could see how she extremely comfortable with Sujeong. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely contact them again for dog boarding!”

“She seems to be a wonderful dog sitter, however your company customer service was not the easiest to contact. I tried to cancel my booking de to illness and was unsuccessful.”

“Zuri had a wonderful time with Kayla! She sent lots of pictures and followed our instructions for the day. I will definitely be booking her again next time we need someone to take care of our pup.”

“Sowmya and her family are absolutely amazing! Millie is always so happy and excited to go to their home, and she comes back just as happy. They are wonderful with communication and always respond to messages very promptly. They have been so helpful and accommodating whenever we’ve needed them to watch Millie, even on short notice. We feel completely comfortable leaving her with them and truly appreciate the love and care they give her. Highly recommend them! ❤️🐾”

“Josie was great!! She accepted our booking extremely last minute (like 15 minutes before dropping off), she was literally a life saver today. Zeus had so much fun in her care today.”

About: I’ve had both cats and dogs my entire life, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I provide a calm, attentive home environment where pets are treated like family and receive plenty of love, playtime, and regular walks. I share my home with cats, so dogs must be comfortable around them. My cats are well-adjusted and do well with dogs, but they may choose to hide around higher-energy pups. They are not comfortable being chased or cornered, so I only accept dogs that are respectful of their space. I have experience with a wide range of breeds and sizes, from small dogs to large breeds, as well as pets with different temperaments. I’m also experienced with special needs pets and administering medications, and I pay close attention to each pet’s individual routine and behavior. I provide consistent supervision and personalized care to ensure a safe, low-stress environment for everyone in my home. You can also expect regular updates with photos, so you always feel connected and reassured while your pet is in my care. I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent supervision and attention throughout the day. I closely follow each pet’s established routine: feeding, walks, and any special care, to create a familiar, low-stress environment. I provide care in a calm, structured home environment and only accept dogs from one family at a time. This allows for a lower-stress stay and ensures your dog receives my full attention and personalized care. Each dog’s routine is followed as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, and any specific instructions. I provide frequent walks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. Dogs are not crated unless requested by the owner to maintain their normal routine. For everyone’s safety and comfort, dogs must be house-trained, cat-friendly, and able to coexist respectfully in a home environment. I offer Meet & Greets for all new clients so we can ensure a good fit for everyone. Additionally, my experience working on Rover’s Trust & Safety team has given me a strong understanding of pet behavior, risk awareness, and best practices in providing safe, reliable care.
“Dan and his wife were excellent doggy hosts. They made drop-off and pickup quick and simple. They gave picture updates and were great with communicating. I also loved that my spoiled dog had a couch to nap on. I will book again.”

“Aurora was easy to communicate and very responsive. She welcomed my dog into her home and made her feel comfortable. By the 3rd day, my pup was running and wagging her tail to get out of the car and to Aurora’s door. Highly recommend.”

About: 6/2026 UPDATE: After a long hiatus, I am back to dog sitting. It's a long story but my house burned down and it took years to get back into, a car accident, etc. However, I would like to start sitting other dogs again. I have my own dog, a bullmastiff named Bodi, who turned a year old in May 2026. He's 130+ lbs so far. He's a big big baby. He's very well socialized and goes to the dog park frequently, doesn't guard resources, and loves smaller dogs too. He is very gentle with them. Bodi is not neutered so no females in heat. My mother lives with me and she has a household cat. So, while it's ok for dogs to chase a cat, the cat is dog savvy, I cannot watch any dogs that would wish to do actual harm to the cat. I am especially doing this right now so my dog remains accustomed to new dogs entering his home and welcoming them. I'm home all the time so my schedule is open. My mother also lives with me and she is here all the time as well. I have a small fenced yard. I usually take my dog to the dog park or for a walk, or he has a playdate with the neighbor dog. So, while watching your dog, I would take him/her to the dog Park if that's ok with you, or take them for a walk. I do have a hip issue so I can't promise a lengthy walk every single day no matter what, simply because I do have hip issues. However, i would be able to throw a stick around, etc, to ensure your dog gets enough exercise. My dog Bodi is allowed on the furniture and in my bed and your dog would also be welcome to do so. I do give my dog people food treats. If you do not allow people food, please just let me know and I'll respect your wishes. The last thing I want to say is that my dog is my first priority, being that I'm only willing to watch dogs that get along well with my dog. So, I cannot promise any bookings without meeting you and your dog beforehand. I want dog sitting to be a positive experience for him and I do not want Bodi to be uncomfortable in his own home. 8/23/2019 UPDATE: My dog, Stella, passed away in March from osteosarcoma; but, I can't bring myself to remove her info from my profile yet. So, I'm adding this info as an update. Although I don't think I'm ready to get a new dog myself yet--because I still feel as though getting another dog would be trying to replace the irreplaceable-- I feel ok when around other people's dogs & feel as though I am ready to watch dogs again. In fact, being around dogs more, again, may be exactly what I need first, before getting another dog. All of that being said- despite my profile information & posted pictures, I do not have any dogs in my home so I would be able to watch dogs who may not be good with other dogs. I can watch more than 1 dog at a time, provided they are from the same household; but, I generally don't accept dogs from more than one household at a time. I set that rule/limit because I also had my own dog, so I may be willing to watch two dogs from different households...but, I wouldn't watch another dog from another household unless I had permission from both owners (first & foremost). Furthermore, I still would probably only do so only if I was already familiar with both dogs and/or felt very, very confident that neither dog's presence would negatively effect the other dog's experience. As a final note to owners of multiple dogs: Apparently, my thinking and experience(s) are contrary to Rover and or other Rover sitters in regards to watching two dogs from the same household. In my experience, whenever I have watched more than one dog from the same household, they have been easier to care for, and seem more calm and content. Therefore, instead of charging more for the second dog, my charge is $20 for the second dog. Additionally- I'm not sure what exactly my rate is for extended stays, based on my experience(s), extended-stays become easier and less time-intensive the longer the dog stays. As an example, I never expect to sleep much on the first night a dog stays over, simply because even when they're calm, they tend to wake up more often & obviously feel the need to go outside upon wakening. (However, being able to sleep through the night is an added bonus). So, I am willing to adjust my fees for well-behaved dogs staying longer than 3-4 nights. If and whenever that is the case, feel free to ask me about it, if I don't bring it up myself, during the meet n greet, asked prior to booking anything through the site. ___________________________________________________ Hi! I'm a dog person. As a kid, I grew up in a household with many dogs always coming and going so I am very comfortable with dogs. That being said, large and giant breed dogs hold a special place in my heart, and are my favorite. I am a college-educated professional and very trustworthy, and would be happy to meet in advance of taking care of your dog, in order to ease any concerns you may have about leaving a dog with a stranger. And, I could tell you more about myself over the phone, or in person. I also recognize I am new to Rover, and don't or probably won't have have any reviews or customers for a while, so if there's something I can say or do to ease any concerns you may have, feel free to let me know. I have one pet in my home, an 8-year-old female Bullmastiff named Stella, who is very, very laid back. Although I've known Stella her entire life, she came to live with me during the summer of 2017. She always lived with both male and female dogs of all sizes, and in a household with children, and has never displayed any behavioral issues or aggressive behavior. I think Stella gets a little lonely sometimes so she welcomes canine company. Every once in a while & depending on the personalities involved, the most 'aggression' Stella has ever displayed is a warning growl/light snap if she's eating a bully stick (her favorite), or when lying down in her spot on the sofa. It's an appropriate-level response & not aggressive. Actually, I think the only time she's ever even reacted like that, in any way, has been with dogs of her size or larger/taller than her. Even though I love the large dogs- I think Stella prefers dogs smaller than her. She seems to especially love dogs who nag her to play by running & jumping on and around her. Basically, I think she typically requires that the other dog motivate her to play ? (I think she also likes that she can play with the little dogs without having to do much of the running herself!) All in all, I think there's just a certain instant chemistry between certain dogs that make them immediate friends & good playmates. And, the reason I signed up on Rover is for Stella to have an occasional in-home playmate; however, Stella needs to feel comfortable in her own home, which is my first and foremost priority. Regarding house rules and what your pet may be accustomed to, I will adhere to any rules you set for your dog. Stella is allowed on the bed, and has a designated spot on the sofa. Your dog would be welcome on my furniture, if your dog is accustomed to that. However, I also have two ultra-comfortable dog beds (dimensions of each, 36"x 52"). I have exchanged dog-sitting favors with friends and neighbors and watched other dogs in my home for many years, but do not have any prior "professional" dog-sitting experience. MY HOME'S LAYOUT/SENIOR DOGS For anyone with senior dogs, my home is less than ideal, but can also be manageable for senior dogs. My home has a small fenced rear yard, but is a two-story home with the bedrooms located upstairs. There are also approximately 6-8 steps leading to the fenced yard. If your dog has a problem with the steps leading to the yard, I would be willing & able to walk the dog around the house to/from the yard without encountering the steps. I have hardwood flooring throughout my entire home (as well as ceramic and/or porcelain tile in the bathrooms). The stairs are hardwood floor treads with carpeted treads secured on top of the step. Although my stairs are certainly not the steepest stairs I've ever seen in an old home, they're still a bit more narrow and or steep than would be found in a newer home. Overall, my home may not be the best option for some senior dogs, but steps can be avoided as long as the dog is not accustomed to sleeping in the bedroom at night. That being said- I actually slept downstairs on my living room sofa (which has since been replaced) for 4-5 years when my previous dog was no longer able to climb the stairs. So, I'd probably sleep downstairs if I was watching a dog who couldn't climb the steps. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- P. S. There is a question or checkmark on my Rover profile for me to answer as to whether anyone smokes in the home. The question is a little but unclear, and I marked mine as no smoking in the home. So, I would like to clarify that I am a smoker, but I don't smoke in my home. I'm currently home all the time so I have lots of time to give love and attention. My mother also lives with me so there's two people to get attention from. I have a small fenced in yard, but frequently take my dog for a walk or the dog park, or at least somewhere to get them out of the house on a rainy day (i.e. Bass Pro Shops)
“Amanda was fantastic! She was quick to reply to my messages and questions and was clear that my dog was very relaxed and happy (and exhausted...clearly they played a lot!) when I picked her up!”

“Katlyn has been great with Honey. She is great with providing updates and photos. Her home provides a very calm and soothing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend for shy dogs like my Honey.”

We have lots of room indoors as well as outdoors for snuggle time on the couch, floor or wherever they feel comfortable. We have an upstairs and downstairs so there is room for a crate if your pet feels more relaxed in there own space. I do also have a large crate unused if you can’t bring your own! I have the ability and practice of giving dogs medications if needed so anything your dog may need while staying with me will be no problem at all! We are an animal loving family who has a lot of care to give, we are very trustworthy and will always treat your pet like they’re our own!

“Sadie was awesome, she is a great communicator and super flexible with scheduling - it was a last minute booking and she was able to squeeze us in! Thank you for taking care of Tonka and Weezie!”

“after every single walk, my dog was so happy to have spent time with ethan. my dog is a large german shepherd with a lot of energy and ethan will go on runs with him in only thirty minutes that make his whole day. incredibly kind individual and super trustworthy. i had some initial anxiety about someone watching my dog and i am so grateful i chose this host.”

About: I’m a dog mom that works from home 95% of the time. With 4 dogs and almost an acre for a fenced in backyard, there is a lot of time for fun activities, cuddles, and the zoomies both in and outside of the house. I have experience with both puppies and elderly dogs, and have enough space throughout the house that either can be made comfortable in a space if needed. My daily AND weekly routine are very flexible as I can adjust my own schedule when needed. Even on work hours, I have a lot of free time on my hands that allow for short walks or some fun activities in the yard. My dogs always have time made for them, so I would love to include your pups in our free time. My backyard is fenced in and is a very large plot to allow for a quick stretch of the legs and multiple potty breaks. Smaller dogs will be taken on a leash as the fence is a rail type fence, but larger dogs will be allowed to roam freely around the yard. If your pups are not dog friendly it is a MUST know so that space can be separated from my own, but still allow them room to run and grow comfortable in a new space. Dogs are let out every 1-3 hours, depending on what is needed and can be adjusted as needed.

About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats my entire life and have extensive hands on experience. I’m experienced in caring for dogs and cats of different personalities, needs, and energy levels. I currently have 2 cats of my own so I am very comfortable with cat care, including being able to recognize if a cat may be acting differently than usual. I’m also aware of individual cats boundaries and personalities and respect this. I have also cared for many dogs in my life of all sizes, from beagles to labs to rottweilers. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, and am able to provide ample attention. What sets me apart from others is my genuine care for getting to know each individual pet to adapt to their specific needs, rather than treating all pets the same. I fully understand that some pets may be energetic and playful, while others may be shy or prefer a quiet environment. My main goal is to make your pet/pets feel safe and cared for while you’re away in order to give you peace of mind that your pet family is in good hands. I’m currently a law student and work part time and have a flexible schedule, believe it or not! I have intentionally chosen to pursue pet care because I found that I have availability outside of my commitments to work and school. I’m more than happy to communicate prior to bookings to coordinate walks and visits that fit within both of our schedules. I prioritize consistency and reliability for pet care, and will always ensure that I understand your pets needs and routines. I ensure every pets safety and care by following any instructions provided while maintaining their normal routine as much as possible. During drop-in visits I will ensure your pets have anything and everything they need, including food and water, attention, and maintaining a clean environment. During dog walks I prioritize maintaining safe handling practices and give your pet my full attention at all times. I treat every home and pet with the same care and respect that I would want for my own home.
“We couldn’t be happier with the amazing care our dog received while we were away on vacation. Lauren went above and beyond to make sure our pup felt loved, comfortable, and well-exercised every single day. It gave us such peace of mind knowing our dog was in such capable and caring hands. From daily walks and playtime to thoughtful updates and photos, everything was handled with professionalism and genuine love for animals. Our dog absolutely adored her and it showed! We came home to a happy, relaxed pup, which says everything about the quality of care provided. We are so grateful and highly recommend Lauren’s services to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and truly exceptional with dogs!”

“Siyani is absolutely AMAZING! My rescued pup is a reactive dog, and it’s usually very difficult for him to warm up to new people,!especially when it comes to walks or being cared for by someone new. But with Siyani, he felt safe right away!! She has such a calm, kind energy that made Toby comfortable and confident, which is something I honestly didn’t think I would find outside of our family. Finding someone who can handle a rescue pup with patience and love is rare, and Siyani has completely earned my trust. This experience gave me the peace of mind I needed, and now I know I’ve found my go-to sitter for Toby, not only for dog walks but also for when I travel. I couldn’t recommend her enough!!”

“Molly is the best!! Right from the start it’s obvious she’s a great human and a dog whisperer. Excellent and professional meet and greet…my pups instantly adored her. My older pup, Aba, was experiencing acute back pain during the meet and greet and it got worse after. Molly gave me awesome advice as she has worked with animals as a vet tech for years. She even let me last minute borrow her Assisi Loop (for pain) which helped so much. This was all out of the dog sitting window I had her booked for which was so kind. While we were out of town she gave excellent and honest updates, picked up the yard, lots of pics, LONG walks for the pups and even discarded some boxes we had sitting around that needed recycling. Above and beyond my pet sitting expectations…as a Rover sitter myself…so impressed!! I highly recommend Molly.”

I’m available most week days but please try to give me a few hours heads up if you’ll be needing me to avoid schedule conflicts! Each animal requires their own specific care. Please let me know what services you are looking for PRIOR to booking to ensure everything goes smoothly for everyone
“Mya is amazing with our dog. We have booked her on many different occasions and she’s always great. We were nervous having a stranger walking our little guy, but Mya is awesome. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for someone you can trust your puppy with!”

Thank you.

“This was my first time leaving my 8yo pitbull lab mix Maui Wowie with a non-family member and it went off without a hitch! Sandra has a fantastic rural property that any dog will love. Maui LOVED hanging outside and the fun day-to-day activities Sandra and her family provided. Sandra treated my dog just like family.”

“Michael was very accommodating regarding booking my pup’s stay being that it was somewhat last minute. This was the first time I had booked with Michael, and everything was great. He was very attentive and communicated with me throughout the three-day stay. He did Pup Painting with her, and she came home with her masterpiece! I know my baby was taking care of, and I will definitely be booking with him again in the future!”
“Brian was a miracle worker! He convinced my curmudgeonly little dog to get along with a big German Shepherd puppy. I never thought I'd see the day. Bennett was happy when I came to get him and slept well after all of the great interaction with the other dogs. Thanks Brian! ”

“We were very nervous about leaving our chloe for the 1st time but Amy and Patrick were wonderful. They messaged us daily and sent pictures of chloe making as feel at ease. We will definitely be using them again in the future.”

“Diba and her roommates are wonderful people. My baby Spunkie is always so happy and excited to see them and even more happy to see me when it’s pick up time. I can trust them all with my baby”

“Krista and her family were fantastic in caring for our dog, Ellie. She was easy to make plans with, quickly responded to messages, and her yard is perfect for dogs to safely play. Krista went the extra mile by helping us work with our dog’s special diet. Highly recommend!”
