I know that a Great Dane and a Chihuahua need very different things, and I'm comfortable handling both with confidence and patience. Jack, being the grumbliest old man, just wanted his routine but your company from a safe distance away was exactly what he needed (but don’t look at him funny!). Gemmy, silent as the night, will forever respect you for turning on the heated blankets (even though she tried to swindle you into thinking she could eat Jack’s food too). Toast, our dear baby Toast, I was worried he would lose everything we taught him in the six short months with us but you continued to teach him…even though he still has the memory of a goldfish (we will work on it!). About: I've worked with animals of all sizes since I was 12 years old. From volunteering on farms and ranches, to caring for small exotic animals and dogs of my own, I love animals of all sorts and enjoy just spending time with them whenever I can. I've spent the better part of my life involved with animals, I've pet sit for a number of families and have even worked on rehabilitating abandoned horses. I am very comfortable working with dogs that have disabilities as well as I have watched dogs that have diabetes, seizures, paralysis, and age related issues and despite the disabilities we still make the stay an enjoyable one. With me, dogs will get plenty of love, play time, and as many walks as they'd like! I currently hold a full time remote job so my flexibility is great for pet sitting! I can do morning, afternoon and/or evening walks, I can accept pet care in my home or travel. I have many options for accommodation. I reside in a safe private community townhome with plenty of walking paths and a fenced in yard. I do prefer to host at my home as it makes remote work easier due to my inability to transport my monitors but am open to house sitting upon request.

About: I grew up with two dogs (a German Shepherd and a Bichon Frise). They were the sweetest boys to ever exist!! I do not currently have any pets because I don’t think I could handle the loss. But, I have been pet sitting other people’s pets for over 5 years outside of rover. I have pet sit both cats and dogs :) I’m currently working full time remotely. So I have lots of time to spend with your pets! I do travel for work so there may be some weeks that I will not be available but that will all be noted on my calendar. I have a fenced in yard. Pets in our house are allowed inside and on furniture. If you request it I will crate your dog. I have a little sister who is 10 and she loves animals just as much as I do and respects their space but I do require all pets I take care of to be kid friendly.

“Jacqueline and Jim treated my pup and loved her like their own! As it was my 60-lb Golden Retriever’s first time at a house with a cat, I set up a meet and greet and I could tell my dog felt right at home. Jacqueline was super communicative and warm prior to and during the boarding process. I could tell by the photos that my dog was comfortable and I was afraid she wouldn’t want to come back with me! I cannot recommend Jacqueline enough and will definitely board my dog at her place again.”
