About: I’m Alex and I currently have one pitbull so I am A 24/7 dog mom! I love hiking and being out in nature. I have a high energy personality that is perfect for wearing any pup out. Growing up my parents owned dogs of all sizes and personalities (Dalmatian, Akitas, border collie, and jack russel) I love the Lower Allen dog park and would gladly take any dogs there with permission! My previous rescue pit had an abusive past which sadly caused some behavioral issues. Due to that I am more than comfortable watching any dogs that may be a little rough around the edges. I have no problem giving any daily medication needed. I’m just a fun loving dog owner who would love to give your dog wonderful care and attention! I am a stay at home mom so my days are pretty open. I also have access to flexible free child care through grandparents so I don’t have to have my child with me during any dog visits or stays. This allows me to be able to work with your needs! I’m available for caring overnight in your home where your pup is most comfortable! Lots of attention and if they’re allowed in the bed or on the couch they’ll be right there next to me. About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I could remember. I’ve taken care of my families, friends, neighbors. I’ve bathed them, fed them, taken them out, and more. I used to work at a dog boarding and doggie day care. I am very flexible and can work around any schedule and pets schedules. I like to make sure pets in my care are comfortable by sticking to a schedule. I have a big yard for my dog to play in. My dog is a big love bug, who just wants to play. About: I grew up with a cat as part of the household. I've taken care of cats since I was 12. I have two cats that I rescued from my local shelter, they were the most difficult to place because of prior abuse before coming to the shelter. Now, they are among the most affectionate and friendly cats I've known. They get along with other cats after a couple of sniffs and a hiss on their part.
About: I’ve adored taking care of especially cats since I was just a little kid! I understand that they’re more likely to have pickier needs that dogs which I am always happy to adapt too! I can help bath, feed, and give medications. I care for all dogs of any size and any breed. I have a dog myself (she is an 1 year old vizsla) and take her on 5 mile walks daily. I have 3 young boys that love animals and will play and run until they are all tired! I work from home every day and my schedule is very flexible. About: I have a wide variety of experience with all sorts of animals. I’ve had large and small dogs, cats, rodents, amphibians, and lizards, I even had a pot belly pig, sheep & duck as a child. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was around 5. My brother was very active in the dog community and often took me with him. I took care of his Rotwilliers whenever he vacationed and had several dogs of my own. I have been a dog sitter for friends and family my whole life and have taken care of dogs for my nanny families in the past! I am currently a part-time nanny, but fit in dog care in my off time! I stop directly after work (6 pm is quitting time) back at your house, then return to spend the night after feeding my own dog. I provide routine meal times, potty breaks, litter clean-up, medications as needed, treats as positive reinforcement, play time, cuddles, walks and other exercise, and if your pets are used to sleeping in your bed, they are welcome to do the same with me! I do all of this in your home so your best bud doesn't have to stress about too many changes while they are missing you. While Rover's pricing is set up on a per dog fee schedule, I cap charges at $80 per night and $40 per drop in or walk, regardless of the number of pets in your household. In the Rover app, I must modify your booking to be able to do that. I work full-time 9:30am -6pm, Monday -Friday in York, Pa, so I limit my service area during the week to areas between York and New Oxford. I can serve a larger area such as Gettysburg and Dillsburg on weekends. I adhere carefully to client directions about medication, supervision, feeding, and exercise. I want dogs to keep their usual routine as much as possible, and owners to rest assured their treasured pets are cared for as they would.
