About: I've had many animals throughout my life, 7 dogs, 9 cats, and small mammals. I mostly have experience with Australian Shepherds and German Shepherds. At the moment I have two small dogs and a young cat, who all get along together very well! I love animals and I pay very close attention to them to make sure their needs are met and they're happy. I'm not the type of person to just quickly check-in on a dog and let them outside- I play with them, give them attention, exercise them. I work part time and random hours, so I wake up early to let my dogs out, then feed them at 8 and again at 4. One of my dogs is hyperactive and guards her food so each of her meals is a training session. I usually make her walk on the treadmill for 10 minutes and follow various commands while I hand-feed her meals. My animals are never alone for more than 4 hours at a time, so they get to go out many times. I don't have a fenced in yard so they are always on a leash. All of my animals are friendly towards other dogs, cautious with cats. My apartment is somewhat small, so I would prefer to work in a client's home. In that situation I would stop in as many times as the client prefers. I take my time to play with the animals under my care and give them attention. I do my best to make sure they never feel lonely.

I love taking walks and we go to parks and walks all the time so the dogs would get plenty of exercise. They will be well taken care of and loved. I can give baths if needed, will also brush the dogs. Absolutely love getting to play with dogs and have them running around and enjoying their time outside! I'm pretty flexible on times and what all would need to be done. I am willing to travel to your house and walk the dogs, feed and water them as needed and anything else that needs to be done to care for your dog. This just has to be done at certain times. I have three kids, 8, 6, and 1 they absolutely love animals as well and are nice to the dogs! We live in a small mobile home park and dogs are allowed so no worries there. I can watch the dog while you're on vacation or however, whenever is needed if I get some notice! I am a stay at home mom so I'm home all day almost every day. I can take them outside to play a lot too. I don't have a fenced yard so dogs would be leashed and will get long walks. Experience with diverse/exotic animal caretaking rolls, canine cpr certified, lots of experience with difficult dog breeds. My schedule with work is very flexible. Usually I tend to walk my dog for a 1-2 hours a day. It is extremely important that my dog Nala gets exercise each day to make sure she stays happy and healthy. Sometimes I also take my cat on the walks as well (he loves spending time outside with his sister with his harness and leash on!). Weekends have much more flexibility with my schedule. It is extremely important to make sure that any animal feels comfortable in their environment. Giving them the opportunity to take bathroom breaks and keeping pets on their normal schedule is very important. Giving pets access to fresh drinking water, specific foods, and medications as needed is also crucial. Providing proper exercise and mental enrichment only helps to further improve an animal’s experience in their surroundings as well.

“I could not have asked for a better boarding experience for Murphy. Julie and Kevin were amazing. When we arrived, Kevin was there to greet us and took Murphy into the backyard to play, helping him get acquainted with the surroundings before meeting their dog crew. Murphy has taken a real liking to their dog, Skittles; he gets so excited whenever I mention her name. I received regular updates and pictures from Julie, which I greatly appreciated. About: I've raised both of my dogs since they were puppies and understand how important consistency is. I enjoy learning about each dog I meet and discovering ways to connect with them. Dog hugs are just a plus! My pet care availability will typically be before 8am and after 4:30pm during the week. I would also consider overnight bookings during the week. Weekends, I am typically available at all times day and night. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs. I live in an area with a great walking trail and a dog park we can visit. I also have an available crate (Large) with a dog bed and plenty of dog food/treats to share.
