“I had a fantastic experience with Crystal while she looked after my 9-month-old Snowshoe cat, Mavis, during my spring break. Right from the meet and greet, she knew her stuff. She introduced Mavis to her apartment, and her pet is around the same age, Sushi, and gave us some great tips on helping Mavis settle in. The Blink camera in the room where Mavis stayed was a nice touch, allowing Crystal to check in on her whenever she was out, which was reassuring. Plus, she ensured Mavis got plenty of playtime – she understood Mavis's playful side. I was impressed by how Crystal helped Mavis and Sushi become friends. They hit it off after a little supervised playtime, which made me feel even better about leaving Mavis with her. What genuinely set Crystal apart was her communication. There is a state park only a few blocks away from the house that has wonderful hiking trails for dogs. Even when it's busy over the holidays we limit the amount of dogs at a time so the dogs don't get overwhelmed.

“We were a little apprehensive, never used Rover before, we were unfamiliar with Rillan, just had past reviews to help us choose. Happy to say, we were pleasantly surprised! Rillan is definitely a dog person. Our dog loves to play with other dogs, but dogs need to be monitored so they don’t get too crazy. She has a nice outdoor fenced play area and inside open space. Like a good kindergarten teacher, Rillan makes sure each dog plays nicely, separates those that need a time out and also gives individual attention. She sent pictures and stayed in touch, just for an afternoon of doggie day care! Our dog’s day ended with a nap and snuggles with Rillan and another dog hanging out on the sofa!! About: I've been house sitting for friends and family since I was 12. It allowed me to supplement my income and work with the animals that I have loved since a young age. I was a vet tech in high school and during the first few summers in college, gaining small animal medicine and husbandry experience. In addition, I worked at a two different doggy day cares throughout my graduate and undergrad degrees, gaining a lot more experience with dogs and a little bit of dog training. Both of these degrees are also in animal science. I love pets of all kinds and have looked after everything from horses to dogs and cats, to birds. I am willing to stay with your pets overnight if that is your preference. I will not be boarding dogs as my landlord does not allow pets. I am respectful of your home and space and treat your pets as I would my own!
