She took time to ask questions and fill us in on their process of handling a guest dog in their home. Her home is beautiful (I said I wanted to take his place being boarded there lol), it looks like actual doggy heaven. She sent videos and pictures that made our hearts so happy while out of town, and we could visually see how great she treated our little guy (who can be difficult to say the least). They treated our dog as if he were a part of their family in a short period of time and we couldn’t be more grateful to have found her! Dogs during these 2 services do not need to be good with small children as my child will not be with me. They go out 4 to 5 times a day, they get treats for going boo boo outside. We run around the apartment and play as much as my bones will let me. I am able to brush the furbabies every day, and multiple times a day if needed. I do talk to them like they can answer me…..😂😂. Animals understand more than we think they do. I love animals so much. I wish I could get one for me. But at this time, I am unable to afford one. I will not get any animal that I know I can’t pay for what they need. I was working up until 09/2025. I got hurt at work, and I’m unable to return. I am available 24/7 now. I have plenty of time to give ALL of my time to furbabies now. I have a full time job working midnights. I get off at 7am, but don’t usually go to sleep till around 10am. I do not work Friday nights. My part time job is just Mon., we’d., and Fri, from 9am to 1pm. I have every other weekend off. I always put fur babies first in my home. I play with them as often as I can. They are allowed on the furniture and bed. No matter what I am doing, I will stop to take them out, or play with them. I DO NOT give for babies ppl food, their little digestive system mite not be able to handle it. If there is something extra that you say they need, and you don’t have, I will buy it for them. I remove any and everything off the floors, so they cannot get in it. If there is a special diet that they have, I will just need written instructions on how to prepare it.

About this sitter: I have been a sitter with Rover for about 5 years, and have loved it! My husband and I both work from home, me as a contractor and my husband as the founder and CEO of our music lesson business. Our work enables us to be flexible and home more than most, which we are extremely grateful for. We love animals and I have had dogs and cats my entire life. Our three children also love animals. They are very gentle and calm around animals, as we have taught them how to treat animals kindly and with respect, no pulling on tails or stealing toys here! Why I love dog sitting I got my first family dog, a LasoApso/Poodle mix, when I was 6, rescued from the shelter. Since then, I have always had dog(s) and/or cat(s), including one three-legged cat and later, an epileptic dog who had two reconstructive knee surgeries! Later in life, we enrolled a puppy we adopted into an intensive training and obedience program, in which we were also trained in proper dog handling. We have had dogs of all sizes, from a miniature poodle to a 100lb chocolate lab…all of which were lap dogs…even the giant lab! Meet my pets We have two 5 month old male kittens that get along great with dogs, and usually don't even pay them any attention. We have no other dogs. About my home and yard We live in a 3 story home with hardwood floors. We have an open back yard with a lead to make sure that our dog guests can safely enjoy being outside and still stay on our property. We do have steps leading to both the front and back door into the yard. My experience administering medication Yes, we can administer medication. Over the years I have had multiple pets with special needs which required medication. Our family loves animals and we're ready to love yours! We work from home so we will have plenty of time to care for and love your pet! We absolutely love having furry friends in our home and as part of our daily life. We try and keep things in our home consistent with how things are in the owners home. If the dogs get free reign at their house, they will have free reign here (as long as they are potty trained and house broken). We are also happy to use a crate if that is what they are used to. We do have a large dog crate here and plenty of toys, so there is no need to transport a crate. We have a lead in the back yard to make sure that all dog guests are safe and on our property during potty breaks and outside time.

About: Hi everyone! Our names are Karen and Chad and we’ve always had a love for dogs since childhood. The thought of caring or rescuing a dog has always been top of our minds. When we got married, we adopted a greyhound racer. We had him for 7 years and lost him unfortunately due to cancer. Since we lost him, we’ve wanted to continue helping/caring for dogs and can’t think of a better way then helping others with their fur animals. About: Dogs and cats have always held a special place in my heart, ever since childhood. While experiencing some major life changes, the compassion of these animals have really worked to keep my spirits up! I have 3+ years experience volunteering at the humane society, walking and playing with dogs, and cuddling cats! I recently fell in love with two little tuxies and adopted them, and a kitten! I am able to walk miles with the most active pups, and help warm up the stiffest kitty. I will help your dog work through any seperation anxiety by treating him with approved treats, toys, exercise and lots of loving. At the end of the day, to prevent any contagious germs/illnesses, I disinfect any toys, bowls, and blankets that may have been used by a previous dog. Transportation is never an issue. Availability is 7 days a week, times from 9:30am-10pm My schedule is quite flexible as I am currently searching for a work from home job so I can work and watch your pet at the same time. I will have time to relax with them, keep them busy on walks and lots of playing and cuddling. I will keep your pet as comfortable as possible and try to keep them on their routine so they are not too nervous. Having notes as little reminders is a great help when staying over for a few days.

About: Hi! I just moved to Butler about a year ago and looking to get back into Rover! I did it for about a year or two in Missouri. I have an electric fence but I ONLY would use the collar with parents permission. If not, I will walk them out or put them on a lead. I’ve always taken care of dogs since forever basically lol I’ve always had a dog throughout my life and I currently have 2 friendly fur babies myself. Ninno-boxer and Skye-lab mix. I have had mostly bigger dogs, like boxers labs golden retrievers pit bulls and border collies. I can bathe if needed with your permission and they’re comfort level. My dogs are on flea and tick shots they get once a month. I work from home so I’m always here. Your baby will rarely be alone and if so, it’s only to run to get groceries and occasional times out. I do not have a fenced yard, but I have half an acre for them to run around as they please and a few dog beds for their comfort. I have two dogs that can provide tons of fun and exercise, but with your permission we can also go for walks/runs.

About: I’ve take care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. When your pets meet me they will sense I’m a friend. I love to be around animals and taking care of them. I can pet and brush your dog, go for walks, play with them, and follow your directions to feed your dog. If you give me a chance I know you and your dog will be happy with my care. I work part time from home so I have time to take care of your pets. I just need to know what times you want care and I can make my s heckle work around that. I’m very flexible and open to making things work. I’ll go to your home and make sure I get your dog on a leash before we go for a walk. About: Hi there! I am currently a new math teacher and love dogs just as much as I love teaching!! I’ve been around dogs my whole life (and have loved every second). Im comfortable walking, feeding, bathing, playing, and keeping company with dogs of all different breeds and sizes. I currently work at a high school, so I’m available weeknights after 4PM and most weekends if I’m not traveling home to visit my family. In the summer, I’m free almost every day. I can easily keep your pet feeling safe in their own home by making sure it has love, attention, food, water, and lots of play time. It’s important to me to keep your animal in the environment it feels most safe in. I’m comfortable walking dogs if there is a leash and letting the dog go to the bathroom without a leash in a fenced in area.
About: Pets are family, and they deserve to be treated like family. I have doggy sat for a family friend for 3yrs, Zoe, and Zarley. They go out 4 to 5 times a day, they get treats for going boo boo outside. We run around the apartment and play as much as my bones will let me. I am able to brush the furbabies every day, and multiple times a day if needed. I do talk to them like they can answer me…..😂😂. Animals understand more than we think they do. I love animals so much. I wish I could get one for me. But at this time, I am unable to afford one. I will not get any animal that I know I can’t pay for what they need. I was working up until 09/2025. I got hurt at work, and I’m unable to return. I am available 24/7 now. I have plenty of time to give ALL of my time to furbabies now. I have a full time job working midnights. I get off at 7am, but don’t usually go to sleep till around 10am. I do not work Friday nights. My part time job is just Mon., we’d., and Fri, from 9am to 1pm. I have every other weekend off. I always put fur babies first in my home. I play with them as often as I can. They are allowed on the furniture and bed. No matter what I am doing, I will stop to take them out, or play with them. I DO NOT give for babies ppl food, their little digestive system mite not be able to handle it. If there is something extra that you say they need, and you don’t have, I will buy it for them. I remove any and everything off the floors, so they cannot get in it. If there is a special diet that they have, I will just need written instructions on how to prepare it.
About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life. My dad owned hunting dogs that we had trained ourselves, they were so loving of us kids and always enjoyed long walks in the woods and hours of play time. We’ve also had cats of every personality, from the fat house cats, to the crazy orange cats, to the shy barn cats, to the hunters who always brought us back a present. We would go to the farm every Sunday and feed the cows and pigs. We’d help our grandparents clean out the chicken coop and feed the hens. I’m experienced bathing and some grooming, I have owned a husky and a malamute and I’m not afraid of hair. I can also clean ears, teeth, and nail trimming but you must supply your own equipment. I work with Military and Police K9s and I’m trained in Animal CPR, First Aid, and Critical Care. I work 2 days a week, I am available at all times of the day and night. I prefer that your pet has a harness for walking rather than just a collar, as it is safer for me and your pet. I unexpectedly ended up with Evie as a puppy (an old boyfriend fell in love with her!) after years of having birds and really came to understand why people love dogs so much! I've spent a lot of hours working with a trainer with Evie to build her confidence and work on different things and she has done so well! If your dog is nervous with certain noises or unsure of new environments, I've spent a lot of time working on these things with Evie and would be more than happy to help your pup feel comfortable! Evie and I are always up for a new adventure and love getting out together on the weekends. There is always room for more friends as well! We live right by Moraine state park, as well as several other great places to explore! Right now I have availability on weekends, but hoping to expand into the week as well! Your best friend will enjoy some amazing adventures, new smells, and as much fun as we can manage to squeeze in! About: I'm home most of the time, ❤️ . I love dogs with a passion. Every dog that comes into my house are extended family 🐾 I currently am a business owner that runs Itself. I can be available most of the the time. The only time I am not is early mornings until 2pm. Then home most of the days. Walking I can do Monday, Tuesday , Wednesday , Saturday and Sunday. Dogs must be equipped to be okay with strollers. In home they will be in our garage that is heated and air conditioned it's attached to our home and our entry way. It is a second living space. We live on 2 acres that hoping to get fenced in the next year. We like hiking so your dogs into that please have all flea and tick things they require. All dogs must be vaccinated and up to date on shots as we have 2 dogs. All dogs must be good with small children. Home sitting /walking in mostly available afternoon night time. Dogs during these 2 services do not need to be good with small children as my child will not be with me. Any questions on the space they will be at you can come and take a tour or I can send you pictures. ❤️🐾

About: I've been taking care of animals since I was a little girl, I've always told my parents I wanted to be a vet growing up so I went to a vocational school for veterinary assistance and got my grooming and vet assistance certificates. I've had dogs, cats, horses, bunnies, snakes, spiders just everything, me and my husband have trained several dogs, we have had ling boarding stays that went on for a couple months and weve also rescued quite a few dogs and found them new homes!
