About: I’m a huge animal lover, and have grown up with pets my whole life, I’ve had 2 dogs since I was 7, but I’ve also had birds, fish, bunnies, and a tortoise. Typically if your pet can be left alone for 2-4 hours then I can help you. I am able to offer a number of more premium services, such as 24/7 pet care and out of town house sitting, but that takes a lot of forethought and planning. I will not accept a request without meeting you and your pet(s) first. This gives us an opportunity to go over all your pet’s needs and your questions. Number one question I get - will you be bringing your dog to my home? Sometimes this is out of curiosity, sometimes they like the idea of their pet having a buddy, but usually it is a safety concern. My dog will never enter your home. When I house sit overnight my dog stays with my sister. She is perfectly happy there and I don’t have to split my focus. My job is to focus on YOUR pet! During walks and in general, I do not allow dogs to interact with people or other dogs/pets. This is a big safety concern, as I often know nothing about other people/pets in the area. I do not take those types of liberties with your pets. We will instead turn a corner, cross the street, come back the way we came, or I politely inform them that ‘this is not my dog’, ‘we don’t have time today’, etc.
