About: Since I was born, I’ve always had dogs! Over my life, I’ve had seven dogs of my own. I currently have 3 large dogs, one medium. Since I was ten, me and my family have been fostering dozens of dogs of all different kinds! Newborn puppies, seniors, and every puppy in between. I’ve dealt with aggressive dogs, skittish dogs, and nervous nellies. I love dogs no matter what! Since beginning to foster, I’ve had to train many dogs, both younger and older. I’m skilled in leash training, commands (sit/lay/come), and much more. As of right now, my schedule is completely open! I am happy to accommodate to early mornings, late nights, and everything in between to fit you and your puppy’s needs! I live in the woods, far from dangerous, busy roads. About: I used to hate cats when I was a kid until I got my first cat, Sombra. She was found on the side of the road as a kitten by a friend and asked if my mother and I could take her in. I was hesitant at first, but decided to give her a chance. 9 years later, and I love her to death, despite her feisty attitude. Most recently,2 years ago, I found 2 more black kittens in an abandoned building, a brother and sister. We took them in with the intention of fostering them until they were old enough to adopt out, but unfortunately, since black cats aren't popular, no one wanted them. I decided to keep them for myself, and now Milan and Marcille are happily living together, with Sombra. (all of my cats are indoor cats)

She made sure their food and water was filled, scooped the litter boxes, swept up around the litter boxes, and stayed and played with the kitties for awhile. She took lots of pictures to send to me while I was away. My white cat, Tigger, hides whenever anyone comes over (he only stays out for me) and she had pictures of him laying on the couch!!! About: Hi! I’m Julie. I grew up on a hobby farm surrounded by a menagerie of animals from a young age. Everything from chickens and goats to rabbits, cats, and dogs, and the occasional bit of wildlife, were welcome in my families home. As a high school student I became increasingly involved in agriculture and milked cows and cared for livestock. This turned into a love that led me to college in rural Maine where I earned a degree in Agriculture and Sustainability, all while working on a dairy farm each day. Currently, I homeschool my two children and am blessed with the ability to work from home. We live on a wooded property and have access to a small lake which is boarded by a wooded dirt road. Additionally, we have a small walking trail system directly on our property. We share our home with a Newfie doodle, Arlo, who is 1.5 years old, a Sulcuta tortoise, and a cat that lives under the bed. We have a large red deck with a fenced in space off of this for easy bathroom access and unleashed roaming space for your dog. I work from home and homeschool my children. Our days have built in flexibility and can be arranged to accommodate the needs of any pet staying with us. We enjoy time outdoors, and can often be found working remotely or “out schooling” from our backyard or a hiking trail. In our home, the pets are people too (and we will narrate their thoughts based on their expressions 🤪). Pets are allowed on the furniture and in all rooms. We have a large front porch for slow mornings and evenings that stretch well past sunset. We also have a large deck in the rear which has a fenced area off of it to allow plenty of space for unattended bathroom breaks or unleashed space to roam. I have experience with snakes, bearded dragons, rats , Guinea pigs and rats too I’ve watched various neighbors dogs for years and always focus on giving them a fun day since it’s really stressful when your a dog family leaves even for a few days. About: I’ve lived with dogs for the majority of my life and have had the chance to care for plenty of pets! I volunteered with a rescue organization where my family rescued 2 dogs from! During breaks from school, I had the opportunity to work in a boarding kennel where I walked, fed, bathed, and played with all types of dogs. I am familiar with all ages of dogs and the care required. Even though I have had most of my life experiences be with dogs, I had the chance to volunteer at a cat rescue as well! When available for doggie day care and boarding, I have a large fenced in yard and I have two dogs in my home, so a meet in greet would be required prior to services to ensure all pets are comfortable. This would be in New Tripoli, PA. There is a nearby creek and park that I can take your pet to for walks if you would like. I am also available for drop ins, walks and care within the owners home! In terms of walking and check ins, I can come to your home and check on your pet throughout the day and take them for walks around your home or to a local park if applicable. Right now, I am in between jobs but also commute daily in between New Tripoli and Mcadoo/Hazleton PA. I am looking to pick up some walking and drop in shifts at this time within the locations of those two towns. I have a large fenced in yard for your pet to be able to roam freely and safely. I am off 2 days a week and I just wanted that time to spend taking care of dogs. I like to go on hikes and run around with my dog. I have a decent sized yard for your pups! My dog is also very friendly and would love some company whenever she can get it! I’m up to doing whatever you want for your pet.

About: I have dogs whole my life. I did take care of my friends cat and dogs. Clean litter. Take dog outside to potty. Feed dogs and cat Walk dogs. Play with them like fetch pet I would like do in my mother hours like when my son goes school 9am to 1pm or afternoons from 2 pm to 7 pm. I will to take dogs out, feed them and play with them. About: Since I was born, I’ve always had dogs! Over my life, I’ve had seven dogs of my own. I currently have 3 large dogs, one medium. Since I was ten, me and my family have been fostering dozens of dogs of all different kinds! Newborn puppies, seniors, and every puppy in between. I’ve dealt with aggressive dogs, skittish dogs, and nervous nellies. I love dogs no matter what! Since beginning to foster, I’ve had to train many dogs, both younger and older. I’m skilled in leash training, commands (sit/lay/come), and much more. As of right now, my schedule is completely open! I am happy to accommodate to early mornings, late nights, and everything in between to fit you and your puppy’s needs! I live in the woods, far from dangerous, busy roads. I have PLENTY of room for running, playing, and walking. I have multiple walking trails behind my house, as well as a pond that my puppies love to play in. I currently have two very friendly dogs at my house, who can be separated need be via a soft gate I have in my home. I have multiple crates available if your puppy needs it. My house is full of toys, treats, and dog beds. A dog’s paradise! If not in my home, I will be sure to abide by all house rules set by my client!
“Our two dogs found a home away from home with Mike and his family. Our male is not quite a year old and is very expressive with lots of emotion. Our female is 8 years old and has a harder time boarding at a kennel. We needed someone who understands dogs and who can give the outdoor space and family environment that helps them stay calm and happy. Mike was understanding and supportive of both dogs. He knew from experience how to handle both personalities. Our vacation was more relaxing knowing the dogs were in good hands, and it was fun seeing the pictures Mike would send.
