About: I was raised as a child with pets - fish, cats and of course dogs. Growing up we had 2 Irish Setters a Chihuahua and multiple cats. As an adult I started off with just having multiple cats and then began to have dogs enter my life again. I had a very loving Pit Bull for a short period of time and a few years later I adopted a Boston Terrier who is now 13 years old. In addition to my senior dog, I now also have a 1 ½ year old Boston and 1 senior cat. I never had children so these are my kids and my extended family. I’m Mags (Rover requires me to use my legal name) and I love all animals I have been passionate about dogs ever since I was a child but because experienced working with dogs and cats (and some bunnies) while working for the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County. I was a veterinarian assistant for one year and then became an adoptions Manager for three years. This was the most fulfilling experience of my adult life, being able to help animals and the community daily. I recently lost my closest companion, Xander, about a month ago. He was 13 years old and I had him since he walked into the humane society at two months old. Through him I gained even more experience with aging dogs, medical care and many behavioral changes as he aged. While using positive reinforcement training we navigated 6 military moves, life adaptions to aging and the introduction of two kittens. I will take all this experience and use it to provide the same amount of love an attention for you furry family members as I did for Xander. I am currently employed part time and have many days free as well as can stay over night or board animals in my home. I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work with any client’s schedule as needed. I currently only have two cats in my home, so I’m able to provide boarding for cat friendly animals. We always had dachshunds growing up, and I learned to love their stubbornness alongside their undying charm, I have had what seems like a million cats … I thought I could save them all… at one point I had 12 of them! lol I know, very crazy cat lady. I spent lots of time & money nursing cats back to health & have successfully found many of them very loving homes, I can happily say I am down to 2 cats! One of which has asthma, so I am experienced in giving inhalers, even to cats who really do NOT want it. My other cat has lots of anxiety, so she requires two different medications to control that so I can also give pills. I also have a corgi who is 3 years old, she is the cutest, naughtiest, most complex little thing I have ever met. She has a seizure disorder and requires three different medications every 12 hours. Anyways, the point is I have lots of experience! And I would love to have the opportunity to help take care of your fur babies & give you piece of mind while you go on vacation or have to be away from home. I am willing to take care of animals full time so all day and all night I am available as long as I know in advance. I prefer to watch animals at clients home if possible. I am very focused on making sure animals are safe and happy. I am able to walk dogs safely as well as feed and bathe them or take them outside to use them bathroom as needed. I am willing to do drop ins or stay in the home for long periods of time if needed.

About: I’ve had dogs forever! I throw little birthday parties for my four dogs and I live on a farm so I definitely know how to take care of animals! I currently don’t have another job, so your pet will be my top priority! I have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays, but only for a couple of hours. I love animals, so I will treat yours as if it were mine. My pets love to cuddle up right next to me so hopefully yours does too!

About: I've been an animal lover my entire life and have years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I currently have a 7 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a 1.5 year old Pomsky, so I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs. I work remotely from home, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I live in a home with my girlfriend, her two children, and our two friendly dogs who enjoy meeting new furry friends. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop in visit, or a comfortable place to stay while you're away, they'll be treated like a member of our family. I'll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you always know your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. I have a job where I work from home so am home most of the day to take care of all of the puppy needs! :) We have 2 dogs to keep your puppy company. We have an unfenced yard that we can take your dog out on a leash as often as needed for potty breaks. We also have a couple kids who love dogs and would love to have more puppies to play with.

About: There's never been a time in my life when I didn't have a pet - dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, etc. I've helped take care of friend's and neighbors pets while on vacation since I was a teenager. We recently had to say bye to our dog, Bateman, of 13 years and as much as I'd love to welcome another pet into our lives, we're just not ready yet, but we'd love to show some love to your fur babies! We have a big, fenced in backyard and we are attached to a park that's great for walks, so I'd love to see Bateman's space put to good use. My husband and I both work from home and I don't have a set schedule so I can be flexible and available throughout the day. I also take daily walks at the park attached to our neighborhood, so I'd love to have friend to take along with me for some exercise. We have a 7-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter who both love animals and will be more than happy to love on your fur babies. I used to have my own little escape artist at home, so I'm very cautious when opening doors to ensure no one gets out unless there's a fence or they're on a leash.
