When we arrived home and unpacked his bag, she had taken the time to handcraft an ornament with his name. This will be Bean's first Christmas and she gave us his first ornament. We suffered the loss of both of our beloved dogs, Cappy and Blue within less than 3 months less than a year ago. One from old age and one from cancer. We have been so careful and diligent with our new rescue Bean. She knew this and accommodated our paranoia with compassion and understanding. About: Hi! I’m Julie. I grew up on a hobby farm surrounded by a menagerie of animals from a young age. Everything from chickens and goats to rabbits, cats, and dogs, and the occasional bit of wildlife, were welcome in my families home. As a high school student I became increasingly involved in agriculture and milked cows and cared for livestock. This turned into a love that led me to college in rural Maine where I earned a degree in Agriculture and Sustainability, all while working on a dairy farm each day. Currently, I homeschool my two children and am blessed with the ability to work from home. We live on a wooded property and have access to a small lake which is boarded by a wooded dirt road. Additionally, we have a small walking trail system directly on our property. We share our home with a Newfie doodle, Arlo, who is 1.5 years old, a Sulcuta tortoise, and a cat that lives under the bed. We have a large red deck with a fenced in space off of this for easy bathroom access and unleashed roaming space for your dog. I work from home and homeschool my children. Our days have built in flexibility and can be arranged to accommodate the needs of any pet staying with us. We enjoy time outdoors, and can often be found working remotely or “out schooling” from our backyard or a hiking trail. In our home, the pets are people too (and we will narrate their thoughts based on their expressions 🤪). Pets are allowed on the furniture and in all rooms. We have a large front porch for slow mornings and evenings that stretch well past sunset. We also have a large deck in the rear which has a fenced area off of it to allow plenty of space for unattended bathroom breaks or unleashed space to roam. My children are well versed in animal care and also understand giving space to a new animal, calm energy, etc. I will always setup a meet and greet prior to booking to ensure everyone feels comfortable and welcome. Medications can be distributed, and special diets can be managed.

About: I used to hate cats when I was a kid until I got my first cat, Sombra. She was found on the side of the road as a kitten by a friend and asked if my mother and I could take her in. I was hesitant at first, but decided to give her a chance. 9 years later, and I love her to death, despite her feisty attitude. Most recently,2 years ago, I found 2 more black kittens in an abandoned building, a brother and sister. We took them in with the intention of fostering them until they were old enough to adopt out, but unfortunately, since black cats aren't popular, no one wanted them. I decided to keep them for myself, and now Milan and Marcille are happily living together, with Sombra. (all of my cats are indoor cats)

About: I currently own 4 fur babies. Two dogs, two cats. I KNOW how important it is for pets to be properly cared for, because I want my pets getting the same worry free care. I've been taking care of animals most of my life, and worked for a professional pet care service. I make sure that my pets, and yours always get the best attention and care possible. Depending on the service, I can be there for a full overnight stay, anytime from Wed-Mon. If it's a simple walk, I will usually try to be there 10 minutes in advance. No matter what, my schedule is open In my home my dogs are always leashed when outside. My cats always have fresh litter, water and food. My dogs get fresh water 1-2 times per day. Depending on the service requested, I can make sure they're fed, empty their litter, water, anything to make sure they're comfortable! You'll get a picture each time I visit of your fur baby to let you know they're alright.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a child. My parents owned 10 acres and I helped care for dogs, pigs, rabbits, birds, sheep, goats and more. I currently own a four year-old golden retriever who I have trained since a puppy, and I am currently beginning training for him to become a Therapy dog so he can bring joy to others, as much as, he’s brought to me. My dog Oakley is four years old, trained by commands and is extremely friendly and has never had any problems with another dog. I sadly cannot take cats because he is scared of them. I am home 24/7, so I am able to be there for all their care, especially if younger and needing to be let out more often or if older and need medicine given at certain times. I have a crate if needed that could be used for small, medium or large breeds.

I am currently taking summer classes, but have a lot of free time being home from college for the summer, so I can be available any day of the week for pet care. I am comfortable with early mornings to later evenings. I have a lot of experience looking after my dog for many years and love to walk outside, play catch outside, or do more calm indoor activities with dogs if needed.

I have experience with snakes, bearded dragons, rats , Guinea pigs and rats too I’ve watched various neighbors dogs for years and always focus on giving them a fun day since it’s really stressful when your a dog family leaves even for a few days. With notice I can easily modify my routine to make sure I’m there for your pet In my home I current have it parrot proofed. So we have no chemical or anything toxic that can easily be gotten into. I also make sure not to keep any toxic foods in the house as an extra level of precaution and know that you cannot leave them alone because you never know what any pet will get into especially when their routine is disrupted

Very active and would love to take your dog on a hike with me! Working part time throughout the summer. Free on weekends. Would love to stop by for early morning and evening walks/hikes! About: I currently own 4 fur babies. Two dogs, two cats. I KNOW how important it is for pets to be properly cared for, because I want my pets getting the same worry free care. I've been taking care of animals most of my life, and worked for a professional pet care service. I make sure that my pets, and yours always get the best attention and care possible. Depending on the service, I can be there for a full overnight stay, anytime from Wed-Mon. If it's a simple walk, I will usually try to be there 10 minutes in advance. No matter what, my schedule is open In my home my dogs are always leashed when outside. My cats always have fresh litter, water and food. My dogs get fresh water 1-2 times per day. Depending on the service requested, I can make sure they're fed, empty their litter, water, anything to make sure they're comfortable! You'll get a picture each time I visit of your fur baby to let you know they're alright.
About: I have never been without an animal. A portion of my home is now empty and I am able to take on some pet sitting duties so you don’t have to have strangers coming into your home! I also do overnights at your home as well and can give references. I generally work dayshift m-f based on the school calendar so days we have no school I am off as well and off weekends of course. Any other times needed just ask. :-) Your pets will have free reign of the area unless you want otherwise. Walks, treats, meals, schedules are based on what you tell me they need.

About: Hi! I’m Julie. I grew up on a hobby farm surrounded by a menagerie of animals from a young age. Everything from chickens and goats to rabbits, cats, and dogs, and the occasional bit of wildlife, were welcome in my families home. As a high school student I became increasingly involved in agriculture and milked cows and cared for livestock. This turned into a love that led me to college in rural Maine where I earned a degree in Agriculture and Sustainability, all while working on a dairy farm each day. Currently, I homeschool my two children and am blessed with the ability to work from home. We live on a wooded property and have access to a small lake which is boarded by a wooded dirt road. Additionally, we have a small walking trail system directly on our property. We share our home with a Newfie doodle, Arlo, who is 1.5 years old, a Sulcuta tortoise, and a cat that lives under the bed. We have a large red deck with a fenced in space off of this for easy bathroom access and unleashed roaming space for your dog. I work from home and homeschool my children. Our days have built in flexibility and can be arranged to accommodate the needs of any pet staying with us. We enjoy time outdoors, and can often be found working remotely or “out schooling” from our backyard or a hiking trail. In our home, the pets are people too (and we will narrate their thoughts based on their expressions 🤪). Pets are allowed on the furniture and in all rooms. We have a large front porch for slow mornings and evenings that stretch well past sunset. We also have a large deck in the rear which has a fenced area off of it to allow plenty of space for unattended bathroom breaks or unleashed space to roam. My children are well versed in animal care and also understand giving space to a new animal, calm energy, etc. I will always setup a meet and greet prior to booking to ensure everyone feels comfortable and welcome. Medications can be distributed, and special diets can be managed.
