About: I love dogs! Over the last 15 years I have fostered over 90 dogs and have owned 7 myself. I currently have 2 pups living with my husband and I. I enjoy loving on them and giving them an amazing life. Dogs have always been a vital part of my life and being able to provide a safe loving environment for other people's dogs makes my heart happy. I have grown up around cats and dogs, and currently have a cat, brand new puppy, a guinea pig, gerbils, and fish of my own. I currently work 50-60 hours a week, but most evenings, and weekends are available. I am willing to do drop-ins during my lunch or other breaks throughout my day. About: Going up as a kid I have helped care for multiple animals including dogs that were being pet sitted in our home. I have also cared for my own animals, cats and horses, over the last 23 years. In this time I have worked at a horse boarding facility and have done horse sitting for neighbors while they were on vacation. I want to ensure that your pet has a safe and relaxing time during their stay, I will provide a separate room for your animal if needed or requested, with their own bedding and play-area. I have several rooms in the house that are not used, so I keep this space reserved for your pets. I will collect your vet information at booking and take your pet to their vet if necessary; I also am a member of the local Dauphin County Animal Hospital, which I can use if needed for emergencies. Usually I tend to walk my dog for a 1-2 hours a day. It is extremely important that my dog Nala gets exercise each day to make sure she stays happy and healthy. Sometimes I also take my cat on the walks as well (he loves spending time outside with his sister with his harness and leash on!). Weekends have much more flexibility with my schedule. It is extremely important to make sure that any animal feels comfortable in their environment. Giving them the opportunity to take bathroom breaks and keeping pets on their normal schedule is very important. Giving pets access to fresh drinking water, specific foods, and medications as needed is also crucial. Providing proper exercise and mental enrichment only helps to further improve an animal’s experience in their surroundings as well.
About: I cat sit for my neighbor for long periods of time when she goes away. I’ve been an animal owner since the age of 3. Currently I’m in school for nursing but don’t have classes Monday and Wednesday as well as the weekend. Those days I’m hoping to spend time with pets. About: I've raised both of my dogs since they were puppies and understand how important consistency is. I enjoy learning about each dog I meet and discovering ways to connect with them. Dog hugs are just a plus! My pet care availability will typically be before 8am and after 4:30pm during the week. I would also consider overnight bookings during the week. Weekends, I am typically available at all times day and night. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs. I live in an area with a great walking trail and a dog park we can visit. I also have an available crate (Large) with a dog bed and plenty of dog food/treats to share.
