About: I've had many animals throughout my life, 7 dogs, 9 cats, and small mammals. I mostly have experience with Australian Shepherds and German Shepherds. At the moment I have two small dogs and a young cat, who all get along together very well! I love animals and I pay very close attention to them to make sure their needs are met and they're happy. I'm not the type of person to just quickly check-in on a dog and let them outside- I play with them, give them attention, exercise them. I work part time and random hours, so I wake up early to let my dogs out, then feed them at 8 and again at 4. One of my dogs is hyperactive and guards her food so each of her meals is a training session. I usually make her walk on the treadmill for 10 minutes and follow various commands while I hand-feed her meals. My animals are never alone for more than 4 hours at a time, so they get to go out many times. I don't have a fenced in yard so they are always on a leash. All of my animals are friendly towards other dogs, cautious with cats. My apartment is somewhat small, so I would prefer to work in a client's home. In that situation I would stop in as many times as the client prefers. I take my time to play with the animals under my care and give them attention. I do my best to make sure they never feel lonely.

Giving pets access to fresh drinking water, specific foods, and medications as needed is also crucial. Providing proper exercise and mental enrichment only helps to further improve an animal’s experience in their surroundings as well.

I do have my own pets to care for, however my boyfriend helps me with them also. I take detailed notes on each pet. So I make sure they get the proper care you want for them. About: I cat sit for my neighbor for long periods of time when she goes away. I’ve been an animal owner since the age of 3. Currently I’m in school for nursing but don’t have classes Monday and Wednesday as well as the weekend. Those days I’m hoping to spend time with pets. About: I had only dogs for many many years and absolutely love dogs! I then moved abroad for the past 12 years and due to living in a building which allowed no dogs I decided instead to invest in a kitten.. Here we are, years later and I've become rather cat crazy! We have 4, 3 of which we brought with us all the way from the UK to love with us here in Danville. I love how each cat carries their own personality, likes, dislikes and quirks and I have learned to be patient a great deal thanks to these little flurries of fur. I also once owned rabbits, chickens, peacocks, fish, a squirrel named "Giblet" and spent time around cows and pigs as well. Animals give us warmth and love, be it a cozy chihuahua or a frowning lizard and I love them all! We have just moved here from the UK in mid 2024. Our 4 cats are the biggest part of our lives and as I work from home I am so attached to them! About: I've raised both of my dogs since they were puppies and understand how important consistency is. I enjoy learning about each dog I meet and discovering ways to connect with them. Dog hugs are just a plus! My pet care availability will typically be before 8am and after 4:30pm during the week. I would also consider overnight bookings during the week. Weekends, I am typically available at all times day and night. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs. I live in an area with a great walking trail and a dog park we can visit. I also have an available crate (Large) with a dog bed and plenty of dog food/treats to share.
