About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and have had experience owning other pets such as geckos, cats, and snakes. I’ve been a pet sitter for a little over two years. My true passion for pet sitting comes from my desire to be accompanied by them, dogs specifically. I work with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and personalities. Dogs of all backgrounds tend to gravitate towards me and I have never had any negative interactions. While studying for my undergrad, I was actually in charge of all the live animal specimens present on the University grounds. Feeding, exercise, and handling/care were done daily, which can explain my comfortability and familiarity with pet care. I currently am home as I finish my masters degree online so my daily schedule is fairly free. I workout and do part-time contract work when I am not doing schoolwork. I’m extremely flexible and will be willing to meet your needs as best as possible. Simply put, I treat the pets like they are my own. I ensure they are met with sufficient attention, exercise, nutrition, and safety while under my supervision. Minimizing stress is my biggest concern (my dog has separation anxiety so I know how it can be). Both of our cats were saved from the streets from a young age and we cared for them and still have them. About: I’ve grown up with dogs - a Dalmatian pupy, a Doberman from puppy to adulthood, various labs, and now, a yorkie. I love taking them on long walks and enjoying the weather. I saw my soul pet through dementia and early stage heart failure and now have an active puppy- I’m used to all levels of activity for dogs and administering medications. I’m not afraid of cleaning up messes and am happy to take time to meet your dog’s unique needs. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I can fit your pup’s needs into my day. I love walks and am not afraid of a little weather - there’s no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing for it. Rain, snow, or heat won’t bother me! In your home or mine, I can address whatever needs you have for your pups. I do not have a fenced yard, but I have a tether and use that or a leash. Dogs are not allowed outside without a leash or tether at my house. I’m most comfortable with dogs being leashed until I know their recall abilities with me.
