Alexis was THE ABSOLUTE BEST in helping ease my heart and mind as I went away for the week. She sent me SEVERAL detailed updates daily with lots of photos and by the end of the trip Tam was following Alexis around the house (which means she’s extra comfortable!) Alexis was sweet enough to give Tam her own private space in the guest room but also gave her the option to roam free if she’d like (tam loves her solitude), lots of playtime, lots of patience and lots of love I would absolutely book with Alexis again! About: I am an emergency nurse 2 days a week and a mom to 2 crazy girls full time. My availability on the weekends can vary because of my nursing job. My family rescued two different feral kittens over the years, and both became beloved indoor cats who lived more than 15 years. We had a very busy and hectic schedule during our visit with family up in the York/Hanover area, Chelsea worked with us each day on our drop off and pick up times which allowed us to spend time with our grandkids without being rushed or stressed about our furbaby Rascal. We were updated with text and pictures from Chelsea each day she had Rascal. One of our concerns was Rascal doesn't like being crated and Chelsea let us up front she doesn't crate dogs. She allows them to be on her furniture and has dog beds for them to lay on as well. She takes them out for walks and potty breaks and Rascal seems extremely happy when he was with Chelsea and her family. If we lived in the area we would use Chelsea again and again. We are very grateful to have found Chelsea for our furbaby Rascal, she was so good to him. We highly recommend you choosing Chelsea to watch your furbaby.”

About: As a college student studying Zoology, animals and their care are more than a side hustle or a hobby: they’re my world. Apart from my academic coursework in animal care and welfare, I have more than eight years of personal care and volunteer experience with numerous animals, including but not limited to: cats, dogs, horses, rats and mice, hamsters, snakes, various types of lizards and amphibians, goats, chickens, sheep, cattle, and even invertebrates such as tarantulas and scorpions. Rest assured, I’ll never discriminate against your furry pal! I have experience giving oral medication, both liquid and pill, as well as insulin injections and subcutaneous fluids. I also have experience caring for elderly animals — like my 18 year old cat, Maya! I can provide feeding, brushing, hoof care, walking, exercise, medication, play time, turning out, litterbox cleaning and much more! I have a driver’s license and my own transportation, and my hours and pay are flexible. I am willing to drive 60-90 minutes depending on needs. As mentioned prior, I have extensive prior experience volunteering at various shelters, vets and farms assisting with animal care, as well as my own personal experience caring for a diverse array of pets. I am happy to gather recommendations from organizations I work with. While caring for your pet or pets, I will regularly keep in contact with you and update you with both text and photos (if desired), along with keeping a dedicated spreadsheet of feeding/watering/grooming times and overall health to guarantee your peace of mind. I am capable of providing pet care across a flexible schedule. I can provide early care from 6-9 AM in the morning and any time after 4:20 PM on weekdays, as well as 24 hour care on weekends and overnight stays if needed. I am able to care for pets in a wide variety of ways thanks to expensive experience. Walking, feeding, litter-box cleaning, playtime, as well as insulin/subcutaneous fluid injections are all possible. I can also administer medication orally. Daily checkups as well as overnight stays are both possible.
About: I’ve been around animals my entire life. My childhood cat lived to 22, and I grew up with Golden Retrievers, including helping care for a litter of puppies. I also worked as an assistant manager at a large pet daycare facility and now have two rescue dogs of my own. My two rescue dogs are used to sharing the furniture, so visiting pets will have plenty of comfortable places to relax and feel at home. In a client’s home, I follow each pet’s routine closely—feeding, walks, playtime, medication instructions, and any house rules—while keeping you updated with photos and messages. As a former college coach and admissions counselor, I have spent most of my career in trusted, responsibility-heavy roles, and I bring that same attentiveness and care to every pet.
About: When I was in high school, I fostered over 20 dogs with my mom from a rescue she was apart of. During this time, I was able to interact with dogs of all ages and breeds. I learned how to read dogs body language better, while making them feel comfortable. dogs have and will always be a HUGE part of my life. I am currently job searching so I have a lot of free time at the moment to help out others who may not have as much availablity to be with their loved fur babies! About: I've been around animals my whole life. From the littlest of fish, to the largest of cows and other farm animals! I have 3 dogs of my own, two Colorado mountain dogs and a medium pittie mix. I also have 4 geckoes (2 leopards, a giant Madagascar day gecko, and my newest boy, a harlequin crested gecko!). I've dog-sat little dogs, big dogs, disabled and elderly dogs, as well as young pups and households with multiple animals! I will give you the best care, whether it be for your pets, home, or more! Right now I work part-time at a bakery on Sundays, and I am also a full-time college student! Thankfully, my schedule is very flexible and my attention will solely be on your furry friends. I always make sure to keep my client's homes clean and organized, and pay special attention to any extra tasks I'm giving, such as watering plants (I have dozens of plant babies!), changing the temperature, emptying dehumidifiers, and retrieving packages. Anything you need, I will do to the best of my abilities! I like to update my clients daily on their pets to ease their mind.
About: A little bit about me: I am a new graduate RN looking to make some extra money on the side! I am an all around animal lover and have spent many summers & many winter breaks pet/house sitting throughout nursing school. I have had my fair share of animals throughout my life. We always had dachshunds growing up, and I learned to love their stubbornness alongside their undying charm, I have had what seems like a million cats … I thought I could save them all… at one point I had 12 of them! lol I know, very crazy cat lady. I spent lots of time & money nursing cats back to health & have successfully found many of them very loving homes, I can happily say I am down to 2 cats! One of which has asthma, so I am experienced in giving inhalers, even to cats who really do NOT want it. My other cat has lots of anxiety, so she requires two different medications to control that so I can also give pills. I also have a corgi who is 3 years old, she is the cutest, naughtiest, most complex little thing I have ever met. She has a seizure disorder and requires three different medications every 12 hours. Anyways, the point is I have lots of experience! And I would love to have the opportunity to help take care of your fur babies & give you piece of mind while you go on vacation or have to be away from home. I am willing to take care of animals full time so all day and all night I am available as long as I know in advance. I prefer to watch animals at clients home if possible. I am very focused on making sure animals are safe and happy. I am able to walk dogs safely as well as feed and bathe them or take them outside to use them bathroom as needed. I am willing to do drop ins or stay in the home for long periods of time if needed.
