“Ashley and Jerrell were awesome caregivers to Oreo. They communicated along the way with updates and photos. I appreciated they accommodated for Oreo's lack of stays away by making changes along the way to make him feel comfortable. Thanks to their wonderful family & fur babies Oreo felt right at home! R/ Yolanda”

“Cynthia and her Husband Lance were welcoming and willing to help us out last minute. They took really good care of of dog and made him feel like home. Would 100% recommend them! Thank you again!”

“I would definitely recommend Sarah for watching your dog. She took such good care of my Murphy while I was away on an unexpected work trip. Sarah sent lots of pictures and updates. Murphy seemed right at home there on her big comfy couch.”

“Nanci is a very responsible dog sitter:) Our dog got great care and lots of walks during her stay. Nanci’s husband Tom was also very good with our dog and she seemed to enjoy both of them very much!”

“Billie provided exceptional communication throughout my dog’s stay, particularly when handling an unexpected marking issue. She sent detailed updates about my dog’s behavior and daily activities, which proved especially valuable when the unusual marking behavior began. Since my dog had never exhibited this behavior before, the sitter’s thorough observations and frequent updates helped us quickly determine that a vet visit was necessary. What impressed me most was her attentiveness and detailed documentation of my dog’s behavior changes. She sent regular photos and updates, activity levels, and any concerning changes. When the marking incident occurred, she immediately reached out and provided clear information about the situation.”

“Giselle was amazing with our dog, Henry. She stayed in touch the whole time we were gone, updating us with pictures and videos. Henry was in such a great hands. He probably got more attention then he does at home! She took him for many walks, and found his favorite spot to be scratched. We absolutely recommend Giselle and will be calling on her again.”

“Sarah and her family are great! Very nice people and I could immediately tell upon meeting them that my puppy would be in good hands while i was on vacation. Sarah sent me pictures and videos of him and how he was doing the whole time and we couldn't be happier with how she took care of him! Would highly recommend and would book again 100%”

“I gave her $170 tip total… and she well deserved every bit of it! Vicky and her family were sensational sitters to my dogs, and I will definitely if I have to or even no reason I will rebook her again !”

“Tania and her family took amazing care of our Mac! We didn’t worry once during our time away, as we knew he was in great hands. Tania is a great communicator, and sent us many pictures of our baby throughout the weekend. When we got there to pick him up, he was in no rush to leave. What a great feeling!”

“Kelly was great! The property Leo stayed with her was big and spacious with lots of space to run around. her dogs adapt well to other animals and Leo soon became part of the pack. He was happy and healthy when we picked him up and didn't see nervous or traumatized at all. Kelly was great about sending picture and updates to us while we were away.”

“Alexis was very easy to work with and communicated well with us. She took great care of our dog while we were away and updated us with texts and photos. We would definitely recommend her! Her kids were an added bonus for our dog to cuddle and play with!”

“Lauren and her family were absolutely wonderful with Mercury! She had a fantastic time staying in their beautiful home. I felt completely at ease knowing she was in such good hands. The picture of her smiling made my day! Highly recommend!”

“Alexis was GREAT when she boarded my dog! She made us feel really comfortable with leaving our pup there over the weekend! She was really accommodating and responsive too! I would definitely bring my dog back to stay with Alexis.”

“Kara was the perfect sitter for my puppy Pepé! She responded quickly, we arranged a meet and greet with her dog, and I was able to leave my dog with her feeling confident he would be cared for perfectly. He came home a very tired puppy from playing with her dog. I will definitely be using Kara again!”

“If there were 7 STARS, that would have been my rating! Whenever we boarded Jasper, he came back with an issue. Either he stopped eating, changed habits, or simple was scared from other big dogs. We saw Angelita’s profile and shared our concerns. She was very responsive, and helped us to overcome these challenges. She kept an eye on his eating habits, she made him socialize with other dogs, and played with him as if he were her own. This is the first time that Jasper comes back home in a happy mood and without any issue. This made us SUPER HAPPY and comfortable! For the first time we can say we found someone who takes care of him as much as we would have. She loved him so much that Jasper came back home with GIFTS! For that, we would always think of her whenever we want to board him. You want someone to take care of your dog? With a blink of an eye, Angelita is the right person.”

About: I’m confident in my ability to give your feline the best care and attention they deserve. I’ve taken care of my parent’s cats, my client’s, and my own senior cat for 4 years. With my experience, I know that cats need extra support when it comes to their physical and emotional health. Cats need an extra boost in their diet because they naturally lack the desire to drink water. I know and understand how to keep hydration available. Furthermore, a clean litter box will prevent further stress to your cat and damage to your home. Additionally, I’ve had to give plenty of pets their medication, I know the methods and how careful I have to be while distributing. Most importantly, like any pet, they have their own personality and needs, as your petsitter they will be my top priority. Reach out to me with any questions or concerns!

About: I have lifelong experience caring for cats of all temperaments, including shy, anxious, and rescue cats. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, litter box maintenance, playtime, and giving cats the space they need to feel secure. I’ve also worked with cats who needed extra patience and assistance building trust, so I understand how to approach each cat based on their personality.
“Laura is THE BEST! She met with us and our cat Chewy twice before we left for our trip, to make sure we all felt comfortable which gave us peace of mind. She left the apartment squeaky clean and took care of our baby. We got regular picture and video updates, and our cat was super happy and content. We would hire her again in a heartbeat! Thank you so much Laura!”

“ALL the stars for Alexis! First time Rover user here and Alexis was so great. She took care of my elder kitty while we were away and she was awesome! Very communicative, very willing to help out with an extra housesitting task and she made us feel like our pet was in great hands while we were on vacation.”

“Amanda, thank you for taking excellent care of Penny while we were gone. Your attention to details and willingness to help out while we were gone was most appreciated. Best Barry”

About: I've taken care of dogs my entire life, and have owned multiple rescue dogs since I was 22 years old. I often assist my neighbors and family with their pets. My dogs are 100% my top priority! I have 2 small dogs who I currently take out every 2-3 hours. I am a dedicated dog momma that prioritizes them, making pet care a daily routine. I adjust to the temperament of the dog. It's important to make them feel comfortable in the home at all times. I let my dogs graze, with food and water available to them at all times. But this can be adjusted to your pups needs. We also walk daily (at least once a day), and treats are provided after successful potties outside. I also provide a variety of toys, blankets, and beds for my dogs.

About: My husband and I just moved to York and I am in between jobs, looking for some extra money and love! My family dog, Kasper, passed away about two years ago and was central family member for about 17 years. He was one of the best things to happen to our family and he taught me how passionate I am about animals/dogs. Being an elderly dog, he went through many medical challenges so I am very familiar with special diets, medicines, routines, and extra special care. I go above-and-beyond to make sure the dogs I care for feel loved and safe. I have also watched the dogs of family members and friends and have volunteered to walk dogs at the local facility, Doggie Style. I have experience with dogs weighing anywhere from 13 lbs to 85 lbs. I know life can be busy so I'd love to make your dogs feel safe and loved when you can't be home! Also love to get a walk in during the day! I am currently in between jobs so my schedule is wide open to dog sit!! I love the extra company while I’m at home and I also love getting out of the house for visits! I’m happy to come to you or to host doggy daycare at my townhouse! We have 4 rooms, a backyard, and a nice neighborhood to walk in with a dog park.

About: I don't have a ton of experience with pet-sitting, but I LOVE animals. My two cats are my life, and I always do what I can to ensure they are happy in their forever home. I've always grown up with animals in my home, so adding some more fur-rends (please laugh) temporarily is always welcome. My days are usually very open, since I just graduated high school. I'm mostly doing this as a summer gig, since I'll be off to college come August. I have a fenced yard and two cats! They are very shy around other animals/people, but are in general very friendly. The yard is huge, with a ton of space for an animal to run around and play.
About: I couldn’t imagine life without dogs. I’ve grown up with a dog or two my entire life and they are truly family, and treated as so. I’ve cared for my own, in addition to family, friends and neighbors animals as well. I’ve dealt with puppies all the way to senior dogs, giving medications and special care. Our dogs are so loved and so will yours! I’m off all summer long, but during the school year or on the days I do go somewhere, my husband works from home 95% of the time and tends to the dog/pets. We have a newly fenced yard to keep your fur baby safe, with lots of room to run and play. We have a one year old black lab female that will be a great companion and playmate for your pet! We love going on daily walks as well and playing fetch in the back yard.

I always know what’s going on thanks to her thoughtful updates, and she’s great about letting me know of any scheduling changes well in advance — usually at least a week ahead, which I really appreciate. It’s such a relief knowing my dog is in caring, reliable hands. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and genuinely wonderful with pets!”

About: We've had pets as long as I can remember. If we didn't find them, they found us. I'm retired now and looking to share my love and experience with your fur family. I go for walks multiple times a day and enjoy outdoor activities. I'm recently retired and have nothing but time to care for your loved ones. Available any day of the week and weekends. I have experience giving medicine and caring for older dogs, energetic dogs, and puppies. I can stop in multiple times a day any day of the week or they can stay at our house with 3 acres of land and a trail for outdoor entertainment.
“Rebecca was great with my dog Pepper, who is shy at first until she warms up to a new person. I got daily text messages about their morning walks along with photos. She also had some all natural treats for Pepper (after she asked if it was ok for her to have them). I would defiantly use Rebecca again while we are out of town.”

About: I've always had lots of love for pets since a young age. Growing up my family had a house of 2 dogs and 3 cats, which means a lot of bowls to be filled, yard and litter box to be cleaned, and snuggles to be given and received at the end of the night. My on-hand experiences have ranged since 2017 with my own pet sitting clients, worked as a receptionist at a local hospital, and as a caretaker at Petco. I understand the importance of treating pets as if they were my own. Safety, comfortability, and attention are my top priorities when I'm responsible for your beloved furry ones. I work as a part time school driver, Mon- Thurs, 6:45am-9am and Fri 1:30pm-4p until end of May 2026. I'm currently attending night school until July 2026. Consists of Mon-Thurs, 4pm-9pm. I am very available and more open Sat and Sun all day. In the past, I had my own senior cat (Sapphire) who I loved and cared for every day for 3 years until she passed onto the rainbow bridge. I personally understand how that bond and connection feels. Although my present living situation at an apartment doesn't allow pets, for the past two years I've been housesitting at my clients' homes. I respect and follow the guidelines of each and every one. During most of client's departure, I've collected or separated mail, trash is out on time, and ensured the home is cleaned for when they return. I enjoy sending daily updates through texting, photos, or videos to the owner with our activities from playing, walking, feeding and napping. Clear communication with dietary, medication, grooming and other needs is my responsibility. I will do everything to the best of my abilities to ensure a stress-free time for my clients and their pets.
About: Hello! My name is Danielle Martin. I have a master's degree in School Psychology from Millersville University and I work at a local school district. In my spare time, I enjoy being outside, cooking, and of course, spending time with all the doggos! I currently have a 6-year-old Bernese Mountain Mix, named Ryker, who I adopted in May 2020. Best quarantine decision ever! Previously, I have owned two Great Danes, so I have experience with large breeds. As a dog sitter, I aim to spend as much time with your dogs as possible, so that their time spent away from you is a pleasant one. If the dogs are up for it, I love taking them on walks and hikes, playing with their favorite toy together, and of course, snuggling and relaxing together. Since starting with Rover, I have met so many amazing pups of all ages and sizes. I also have experience with cats, small pets, birds, and reptiles! I look forward to meeting your furry friend! I am currently not working for the summer (one of the perks of being in public education!), which allows me to have a very flexible schedule. I can easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine and adjust my availability to meet your pet’s needs for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and companionship. I am not providing in-home sitting at this time. When at a clients home, I am respectful of the property and aim to leave the home in the same (or better) condition as when I arrived.

I've also worked with cats, rats, birds, and fish. ✨Pet CPR Certified✨ I work full time, 8hrs at most so your pet would be out with my wife or if they’re crate trained they may be in their crate as my wife works from home, but other than that when I’m home we play in our fenced yard and go for walks! In addition, I’m comfortable handling small animals and have experience owning and caring for ferrets. I’m currently waiting to begin my journey in the esthetics side of the cosmetology industry! I have a very flexible schedule on the weekends, as well as mid afternoon and nights. I personally prioritize creating a safe, calm, and stress free environment for every pet in my care. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, behavior, and any specific needs so I can keep their environment consistent and comfortable. I’m attentive to details such as securing doors, safe feeding practices, and monitoring behavior for any signs of stress or illness. I’m also respectful of client homes and follow all instructions carefully to ensure both pets and property are well cared for. For more anxious or shy animals, I focus on patience and gentleness to build trust at their pace. “I would definitely recommend Sarah for watching your dog. She took such good care of my Murphy while I was away on an unexpected work trip. Sarah sent lots of pictures and updates. Murphy seemed right at home there on her big comfy couch.”

“Genalind and the whole family were great with my dogs.. will definitely book with her again. Great pictures and keeping me posted with my dogs all day.. We loved that.. thank you so much”

“Lisa was incredible! My usual sitter was unable to watch Huxley while I had to travel for the holidays and Lisa was not only flexible and accommodating, but made sure to send updates and make Huxley feel loved and at home. We’ll definitely be using her services again. Thank Lisa!”

“Choosing a pet sitter can be an anxious process, especially when transitioning away from a traditional kennel or veterinary boarding facility. However, our experience with Brionna completely eliminated that stress and surpassed every expectation. From the moment we dropped off our dog, Meleys, through the very end of our vacation, Brionna maintained an exceptional line of communication. Knowing that Meleys was being cared for in a traditional, loving home environment—rather than a sterile kennel—made an immense difference in her comfort level. Because Brionna is located so close to us, the familiar neighborhood environment undoubtedly helped Meleys acclimate and settle in almost immediately. The true testament to Brionna’s care was Meleys’ disposition when we picked her up. She was relaxed, happy, and it was entirely evident that she had a thoroughly positive, nurturing experience. We were able to completely unwind on our trip knowing our dog was in such capable and attentive hands. We wholeheartedly recommend Brionna to anyone looking for premium, reliable, and compassionate dog-watching services. We will absolutely be booking with her again!”

“Betsy did a wonderful job caring for my "high-energy" dog. She took him for multiple walks per day and played with him with his toys. Betsy also sent me multiple texts and pictures of my dog during the time that she cared for him. I don't think he would have received better care with anyone else, and I will definitely contact Betsy again in the future when I need a dog sitter; she's the best! Thank you, Betsy, for treating my dog like you would your own dog! 🐶”
