She was flexible in us bringing homemade food for the 4 days Gastón would be staying with her and she gave me all of his things back in pristine condition. On the evening of our pickup, our flight was delayed by close to 1 hour, which pushed back our pickup time. She was extremely understanding when we communicated this with her. We offered to pick him up the next morning, but she shared that she is fine with us picking him up late that evening, which we definitely really appreciated! Also, Gastón gets dirty faster than other breeds, but Amanda kept him clean and he came back to us in the same condition we brought him at the start of boarding. Last but not least, Amanda shared updates with us for all 4 days, sending us photos of our lovebug and letting us know how he was doing that day. It relieved a lot of anxiety for us while we were away. We are extremely grateful for all the careful attention Amanda paid to our pup and will definitely be leaving Gastón with her again!”

About: I've had my own dog for 11 years and I've pet sat for many friends/family. No dog is too big or too small. I have no issue with particular instructions, and will follow any rules you have in place for your dog I work full time on 1st shift, Monday to Friday, so I will be available evenings. On Saturday and Sunday, I will be available all day/night! I have a fenced yard and two dogs at my home. Most likely, our dogs will be separated at all times, even though mine are friendly. I would rather stay on the safe side. But I will treat your animal as my own while in my care. Giving them all the attention, love, and time they need while you're away.

He has gone through 3 UTI's within the last 5 years, which has caused me to pay attention to his diet, but still give him some healthy treats. About: I have two cats of my own. I’ve had them my whole life. The one is about to be 16 soon and he needs to wear a diaper whenever he’s roaming the house. Both of our cats were saved from the streets from a young age and we cared for them and still have them. I also go to college for animal studies and have kennel duties that require me to clean the cat room where theres like 10 cats in a night room. So, I know how to care for many cats at one time and for cats that need special treatment as well.

About: I was raised with many pets, including 2 dogs. A pit bull and a shitzu mix. We raised kittens to find them their forever home. I bottle fed and nursed puppies that were without their mother. I learned the value of money by walking my Aunt's shitzu until I started high school. I naturally had an unspeakable connection with animals my whole life. I couldn't ever imagine my life without them. As of right now, our home is being ran by 4 dogs: Coach, Stella, Winnie, and Sage. And 2 cats: Sunny and Ash. Our backyard is big and fenced in. We let them out for an hour or so to get playtime and exercise in. Taking them for walks is not a good idea because Winnie can be reactive. We crate all of our dogs. They eat separately in their crates. Feeding instructions will be left in our refrigerator so they get their adequate amount. They also have slow feeding bowls.

I want to ensure that your pet has a safe and relaxing time during their stay, I will provide a separate room for your animal if needed or requested, with their own bedding and play-area. I have several rooms in the house that are not used, so I keep this space reserved for your pets. I will collect your vet information at booking and take your pet to their vet if necessary; I also am a member of the local Dauphin County Animal Hospital, which I can use if needed for emergencies. We also offer house sitting services; however, please note that we are not available for overnight stays at this time. I have experience with snakes, bearded dragons, rats , Guinea pigs and rats too I’ve watched various neighbors dogs for years and always focus on giving them a fun day since it’s really stressful when your a dog family leaves even for a few days. About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and have had experience owning other pets such as geckos, cats, and snakes. I’ve been a pet sitter for a little over two years. My true passion for pet sitting comes from my desire to be accompanied by them, dogs specifically. I work with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and personalities. Dogs of all backgrounds tend to gravitate towards me and I have never had any negative interactions. While studying for my undergrad, I was actually in charge of all the live animal specimens present on the University grounds. Feeding, exercise, and handling/care were done daily, which can explain my comfortability and familiarity with pet care. I currently am home as I finish my masters degree online so my daily schedule is fairly free. I workout and do part-time contract work when I am not doing schoolwork. I’m extremely flexible and will be willing to meet your needs as best as possible. Simply put, I treat the pets like they are my own. I ensure they are met with sufficient attention, exercise, nutrition, and safety while under my supervision. Minimizing stress is my biggest concern (my dog has separation anxiety so I know how it can be). I’ve found it helpful in the past to use my own dog as a bridge between myself and the client’s pet, as his presence tends to build confidence and reassurance.

“Amanda was extremely helpful, attentive, and reliable when we needed to board our doggie, Gastón. She was flexible in us bringing homemade food for the 4 days Gastón would be staying with her and she gave me all of his things back in pristine condition. On the evening of our pickup, our flight was delayed by close to 1 hour, which pushed back our pickup time. She was extremely understanding when we communicated this with her. We offered to pick him up the next morning, but she shared that she is fine with us picking him up late that evening, which we definitely really appreciated! Also, Gastón gets dirty faster than other breeds, but Amanda kept him clean and he came back to us in the same condition we brought him at the start of boarding. Last but not least, Amanda shared updates with us for all 4 days, sending us photos of our lovebug and letting us know how he was doing that day. It relieved a lot of anxiety for us while we were away. We are extremely grateful for all the careful attention Amanda paid to our pup and will definitely be leaving Gastón with her again!”
