About: Hi! I’m an experienced pet sitter and dog walker based out of Newton, NJ. Animals are my life! I’ve been working full time in petcare for close to four years, and as a caretaker for many years. Before going into dogcare full time, I was most recently working as a nursing home aid, and CHHA. Before that, I worked with farm animals at the Turtle Back Zoo, and volunteered with the cat adoption agency, ‘Kitty Kind.’ I’ve had and taken care of my dogs, as well as others, ever since I was a little girl. I missed working with our four-legged friends, and I’m very happy to have returned to this fuzzier kind of work. Right now at home, I’ve got two Malamute Labrador mixes. Needless to say, I do have experience handling big dogs, though I love the little ones, too! I am available for overnights, in most cases, so long as I’m not on schedule for another client. About: I love taking care of animals. Animal energy is something I love having in my life. I have had dogs and cats since I was born. Now I have my very own Border Collie named Iris who I love with all my heart. I was always interested in animal care bathing walking cooking my own dog special food. I recently made the decision to leave my place of employment after 25 years. So now I can commit to animal care as much or as little as I can. I don't have a routine yet but hopefully I will establish one soon. I have done numerous overnights with up to 4 dogs. About: I've taken care of dogs for my friends and family for over 10 years. My sister, my bosses and different friends all trust me for a few reasons. First, I love animals and have a good rapport with them. Second, I am clean and keep my word when I agree to show up at a certain time. People recognize this and trust me to show up. Lastly, I am a calm person who brings a tranquil energy. Each animal has their own personality which I respect and learn to work with, and some have more challenging behaviors then others. Some are not good with other dogs or cats, some aren't good with kids, some are timid and need a lot of warming up to and some are pretty much good with everyone. I have worked with animals who have their own quirks and special needs (like medicines at meal times). I have been a traveler for many years, so house sitting/pet sitting for friends around the country has become a part of my life. These days I run a business that has been picking up, so I am not always available, but I keep my calendar open incase I can work it out to spend time with some animals. I currently work several jobs and try to fit Rover requests in when I get them. My girlfriend suggested Rover because she's noticed when I pet sit for people, I really love being around the animals. We can't have animals where we rent so this is a fun and rewarding job. I can be strict or loose with animals depending on what the owners perfer. About: I have cared for all kinds of animals, but predominantly dogs and cats. I’ve nannied for years and cared for family pets with love. Dogs and cats are really God’s gift to humans! I work from home and I can also take my laptop with me anywhere in a pinch, and I know I also will have plenty of breaks through the day to care for the pups or cats! I live in an apartment where animas are welcome on the cozy sofa for lots of snuggles. If you book me for a Board or even a day stay I promise to have you and your furry friend 100% satisfied. I can also walk them,and do drop bys. Your pet will always have someone around in my home(if they like children). It can be hard to find someone as trustworthy as it is for me. They are just as much children and finding the right person takes time. I'm willing to show I am trustworthy And will treat them as my own. I have 3 floors,so if any pets I care for needs personal space I can accommodate. We also have a spare room where they can relax. Due to health I can only take dogs up to 18 lbs. Please note my drop-off and pickup fee is for within a 15 mile radius. If you need pickup outside that range higher fees apply. I'm a stay at home mom who works from home. I am flexible. Other then appointments and cooking. I'm usually available during the week and most weekends. My house has unfenced yard I have 2 floors,so if any pets I care for needs personal space I can accommodate. We also have a spare room where they can relax.

About: I love taking care of animals. Animal energy is something I love having in my life. I have had dogs and cats since I was born. Now I have my very own Border Collie named Iris who I love with all my heart. I was always interested in animal care bathing walking cooking my own dog special food. I recently made the decision to leave my place of employment after 25 years. So now I can commit to animal care as much or as little as I can. I don't have a routine yet but hopefully I will establish one soon. I have done numerous overnights with up to 4 dogs. I ask the owners for a printed copy of each dogs habits, routine and exercise preferences. Also if the dog has any leash or food aggression.

About: I have been house sitting since I was 14 years old. From homes with 2 large puppies to homes with 4 dogs and 7 cats ranging in ages. About: I've taken care of dogs for my friends and family for over 10 years. My sister, my bosses and different friends all trust me for a few reasons. First, I love animals and have a good rapport with them. Second, I am clean and keep my word when I agree to show up at a certain time. People recognize this and trust me to show up. Lastly, I am a calm person who brings a tranquil energy. Each animal has their own personality which I respect and learn to work with, and some have more challenging behaviors then others. Some are not good with other dogs or cats, some aren't good with kids, some are timid and need a lot of warming up to and some are pretty much good with everyone. I have worked with animals who have their own quirks and special needs (like medicines at meal times). I have been a traveler for many years, so house sitting/pet sitting for friends around the country has become a part of my life. These days I run a business that has been picking up, so I am not always available, but I keep my calendar open incase I can work it out to spend time with some animals. I currently work several jobs and try to fit Rover requests in when I get them. My girlfriend suggested Rover because she's noticed when I pet sit for people, I really love being around the animals. In the past I lived in my friends house while they were away; they left me a lot of notes on how to care for, feed, walk, give medicine to their 4 animals and watering dozens of house plants. Play fetch , tag etc. Ill take photos if you requested short videos to ensure relationship status. Growing up i had pets , i always had to give them attention , feed them give them a walk and communication is key . Eye contact is important to me to build a proper relationship . About: I have taken care of close friends and families pets for years and I have decided to expand and see if anyone else needs care for their animals! I have plenty of experience working with animals. I started out as a farm aid at Turtleback zoo a couple years ago and left to go work with marine mammals in Florida. When I came back to NJ I went to Cape May and worked as a full time seasonal animal keeper. After my 6 months were up I went back to Turtleback zoo as a Relief Keeper. I left the zoo field December 2021 and started working part time at a local vet clinic where I work with all size dogs and cats. I know how to give medications also if your dog or cat have any special needs! I currently work full time, first shift for a laboratory. I also work part time at a vets office but when I am dog sitting I do not just do that your pets have more of my attention and are my priority. About: I do in home visits/dog walks for pets. They'll get a nice play session in too! Plenty of love and pets given too! Pre-meeting is fine as well. I currently work part-time time. I have a very flexible schedule so I'm usually available a few times a day for dog walks and visits I will always make sure your dog is leashed on walks. I also make sure your pet is in the house when I leave and the door is locked.
