“Anna gave a great deal of attention to my nearly 17yo cockapoo who was blind and in diapers 24/7 the last yr. He had gotten down to 7 lbs from 16 but still spent every waking moment on the prowl for food. When I found out I had colon cancer that required surgery ASAP i took a couple days reading boarders profiles and reviews before choosing Anna. We talked extensively about peanut 2x before boarding. She got back yo me fast when contacted and sent daily video updates. As Peanut has severe separation anxiety, I was concerned but had to board him and I choose well! Glenn intuitively knew (1) how to coax my shy, sweet Shiloh into eating her dinner & (2) he had to protect her dinner from my other pup, Moochie, who--as Glenn noted--is named for his larcenous, food-stealing ways! He even tried to train Moochie to stop his tendency to mark his territory, which I've given up doing, resorting to a diaper most of the time at home. It was a crazy, fun, but calamity-ridden weekend for me, & my arrival times for both drop-off & pick-up were later than originally expected. Glenn was relaxed and patient despite my tardiness, so I'd actually have to say he took good care of all three of us!”

About: Hello all, I've owned cats, dogs, and horses for over 20 years now and was their main caregiver starting at 8 y.o. I've worked at many horse barns and pet sitter for many many friends over the years. I have skills in pet healthcare (administering medication, baths, cutting nails, etc), young animals, dog & horse training, rescue animals, and elderly animals. I do my best to provide stress free care for your pets. I am currently working from home full-time! So there is always someone around to take care of your pet! My husband and I mostly like to relax and unwind at home with the occasional dinner date or movie, but are flexible and will be upfront with owners if their pet’s needs cannot be met! When pets are in my home, I always take note of the their state of wellness, looking for stress or anything out of the ordinary. I also will inspect the environment to ensure dangerous items (small items/chocolate/other) are out of reach. While we do not have a fenced in backyard we do have a lunge line that will allow your pet to enjoy running around in the backyard but provides a limit so pets do not go near the back alley road! I make sure pets have access to water at all times. I am able to administer medications easily whether it is as simple as pill pockets or even injections. We also have two dogs of our own as well as a cat! Geordi is a 10 year old Australian Cattle dog who is energetic but respects other pets space, Thor is a 1 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi who loves other playmates, and Wynnona is that our 4 year old cat who tends to mind her own business!

About: I grew up in a household I'm the oldest of seven children so we had we all had a cat or a dog or a both and I've been taking care of them for many years. I have taken care of cats that were were diabetic, blind, hearing impaired. Cats can be temperamental so you need to be patient. Many cats need medication , cats like a clean litter box, they don't like to step in their own feces. They're easy to love easy to take care of even special cases it's never a problem you're taking care of a very loved pet. That's important to me as a cat owner.

About: My husband and I are animal lovers in general and dog lovers in particular. We always worry when boarding our own dogs and, now that we've retired, we wanted to provide a "home like" boarding service for other dog lovers. We have 2 rooms dedicated for the dogs to roam free. Sofa for lounging and television or music available during their stay. Bright sunlight and large windows. We have a large kennel that is outside and the dogs are free to come and go through a doggie door in our kitchen. We have many years experience caring for dogs and our family currently includes 2 bichon Frise. They are both peaceful and friendly and love meeting new dog friends. We wanted to provide a reasonably priced animal boarding service close to home. We are located in Hunlock Creek, 25 minutes from Dallas or Wilkes-Barre, 15 minutes from Nanticoke. Drop off time is anytime from 9AM on and Pick up time is by noon or you must schedule another day. If special times are needed let us know. We will also board birds and small pets at a lower rate. I have worked at animal shelters and now currently work at an emergency veterinary hospital, so I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds and cats. I have also been fostering and rescuing dogs for about 6 years now alongside my mother. I work full time, 3 days a week however, on my days off, I would be able to care for them at any hour needed. About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages for over a decade. Relatives, friends and acquaintances have relied on me keep their pets safe and happy while they are away. I love animals and am passionate about giving your pet the best care possible. During the summer I am available to pet sit and dog walk anytime, my schedule is very open and flexible. A perfect fit for someone looking for a dog walker during the work day or a dog sitter while you are on vacation. When I pet sit we usually spend a lot of time playing and walking, or sometimes with senior dogs a lot of time just chilling out. I am capable of administering medication to older pups who take medication. About: I’ve taken care of and loved dogs for as long as I can remember! My favorite part of the day is seeing their tail wag! I am currently working part time with a very flexible schedule! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I start and end my days by making sure pets are fed, exercised, and given plenty of attention. I'm assuming that I'll be doing a typical 9 to 5, so anything before 9am or after 5pm is within reach for me to make sure your pets are well cared for and loved while you're away. ❤️ You can reach out to me with any schedule questions and I can try to work something out with you! I always do my very best to be as gentle as possible with all pets! I tend to avoid using "alpha" proving tactics unless it is necessary for my or your pets safety (ex. scruffing, using chokers tightly, using the shock option over the buzz option on an electric collar). I see these options as only being necessary when the pet is acceptionally aggressive and may hurt myself, itself, or others. I'm also very cautious around doors as I know many pets would take the opportunity to bolt it into the street if they could. I can handle bruises and scratches well from excited pets! I'm usually always covered in them from my own fur babies.

I have taken care of animals since I was a child, I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, goats, chickens, pigs, cows, and a lot more! About: Hello all, I've owned cats, dogs, and horses for over 20 years now and was their main caregiver starting at 8 y.o. I've worked at many horse barns and pet sitter for many many friends over the years. I have skills in pet healthcare (administering medication, baths, cutting nails, etc), young animals, dog & horse training, rescue animals, and elderly animals. I do my best to provide stress free care for your pets. I am currently working from home full-time! So there is always someone around to take care of your pet! My husband and I mostly like to relax and unwind at home with the occasional dinner date or movie, but are flexible and will be upfront with owners if their pet’s needs cannot be met! When pets are in my home, I always take note of the their state of wellness, looking for stress or anything out of the ordinary. I also will inspect the environment to ensure dangerous items (small items/chocolate/other) are out of reach. While we do not have a fenced in backyard we do have a lunge line that will allow your pet to enjoy running around in the backyard but provides a limit so pets do not go near the back alley road! I make sure pets have access to water at all times. I am able to administer medications easily whether it is as simple as pill pockets or even injections. We also have two dogs of our own as well as a cat! Geordi is a 10 year old Australian Cattle dog who is energetic but respects other pets space, Thor is a 1 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi who loves other playmates, and Wynnona is that our 4 year old cat who tends to mind her own business!

About: Hi! I’m Julie. I grew up on a hobby farm surrounded by a menagerie of animals from a young age. Everything from chickens and goats to rabbits, cats, and dogs, and the occasional bit of wildlife, were welcome in my families home. As a high school student I became increasingly involved in agriculture and milked cows and cared for livestock. This turned into a love that led me to college in rural Maine where I earned a degree in Agriculture and Sustainability, all while working on a dairy farm each day. Currently, I homeschool my two children and am blessed with the ability to work from home. We live on a wooded property and have access to a small lake which is boarded by a wooded dirt road. Additionally, we have a small walking trail system directly on our property. We share our home with a Newfie doodle, Arlo, who is 1.5 years old, a Sulcuta tortoise, and a cat that lives under the bed. We have a large red deck with a fenced in space off of this for easy bathroom access and unleashed roaming space for your dog. I work from home and homeschool my children. Our days have built in flexibility and can be arranged to accommodate the needs of any pet staying with us. We enjoy time outdoors, and can often be found working remotely or “out schooling” from our backyard or a hiking trail. In our home, the pets are people too (and we will narrate their thoughts based on their expressions 🤪). Pets are allowed on the furniture and in all rooms. We have a large front porch for slow mornings and evenings that stretch well past sunset. We also have a large deck in the rear which has a fenced area off of it to allow plenty of space for unattended bathroom breaks or unleashed space to roam. My children are well versed in animal care and also understand giving space to a new animal, calm energy, etc. I will always setup a meet and greet prior to booking to ensure everyone feels comfortable and welcome. Medications can be distributed, and special diets can be managed.
