About: I’m Alex and I currently have one pitbull so I am A 24/7 dog mom! I love hiking and being out in nature. I have a high energy personality that is perfect for wearing any pup out. Growing up my parents owned dogs of all sizes and personalities (Dalmatian, Akitas, border collie, and jack russel) I love the Lower Allen dog park and would gladly take any dogs there with permission! My previous rescue pit had an abusive past which sadly caused some behavioral issues. Due to that I am more than comfortable watching any dogs that may be a little rough around the edges. I have no problem giving any daily medication needed. I’m just a fun loving dog owner who would love to give your dog wonderful care and attention! I am a stay at home mom so my days are pretty open. I also have access to flexible free child care through grandparents so I don’t have to have my child with me during any dog visits or stays. This allows me to be able to work with your needs! I’m available for caring overnight in your home where your pup is most comfortable! Lots of attention and if they’re allowed in the bed or on the couch they’ll be right there next to me. The house is kept clean and because of my pet history I keep things off the floor and food safe from pets. There’s a nice yard but no fence. I have my three boys staying here every other week/end. They're animal lovers too, but in case separation is needed, my bedroom, enclosed sunroom, and finished barn space can be used to contain a pet when the kids are around. For pet sitting and dog walking, I have a leash and a fanny pack. As a runner, it's a joy to take energetic dogs on the trail. For runs & walks, I use my own private access to the little gunpowder falls river woods with a long walkable waterfall, the local NCR trail, or the cemetery across the street (1/4mi laps).

About: I’ve always been a huge animal lover and most of my past jobs have involved them in some way! I have been actively looking after cats, dogs, horses and other critters for close to 20 years. I treat every animal and home as if they were my own and have numerous positive experiences from pet owners. If you’re in the Hanover or McSherrystown area and are in need of critter care, please reach out! About: Hello! I’m Mags (Rover requires me to use my legal name) and I love all animals I have been passionate about dogs ever since I was a child but because experienced working with dogs and cats (and some bunnies) while working for the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County. I was a veterinarian assistant for one year and then became an adoptions Manager for three years. This was the most fulfilling experience of my adult life, being able to help animals and the community daily. I recently lost my closest companion, Xander, about a month ago. He was 13 years old and I had him since he walked into the humane society at two months old. Through him I gained even more experience with aging dogs, medical care and many behavioral changes as he aged. While using positive reinforcement training we navigated 6 military moves, life adaptions to aging and the introduction of two kittens. I will take all this experience and use it to provide the same amount of love an attention for you furry family members as I did for Xander. I am currently employed part time and have many days free as well as can stay over night or board animals in my home. I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work with any client’s schedule as needed. I currently only have two cats in my home, so I’m able to provide boarding for cat friendly animals. I have a fenced in back yard and am usually not gone from the house for more than four hours. I also am available for staying over nights at clients houses for a more comfortable experience for everyone in the family.

While Rover's pricing is set up on a per dog fee schedule, I cap charges at $80 per night and $40 per drop in or walk, regardless of the number of pets in your household. In the Rover app, I must modify your booking to be able to do that. I work full-time 9:30am -6pm, Monday -Friday in York, Pa, so I limit my service area during the week to areas between York and New Oxford. I can serve a larger area such as Gettysburg and Dillsburg on weekends. I adhere carefully to client directions about medication, supervision, feeding, and exercise. I want dogs to keep their usual routine as much as possible, and owners to rest assured their treasured pets are cared for as they would.
