“This place, just a few miles out from Bath PA, is an old farm in the process of renovation. It served as a perfectly lovely situation for my little dog to have a few days at "camp." There are resident pets who seemed to welcome the visitor ans make friends quite quickly. Michelle kept my " Boots" close to her but pretty free to roam and explore the farm on a long lead. Many pictures demonstrating his happy exploration of the setting were provided. Michelle was very helpful and flexible about the need to unexpectedly extend the stay and handled the details with Rover quickly and effectively. I had no concerns about my pet's welfare and contentment. I miss my little shadow when I'm away, but found him happy, relaxed and in fine shape when I picked him up. I am glad to recommend this place and sitter highly and quite likely to recommend this sit highly and am quite likely to use it again.”

About: Hi! I’m Julie. I grew up on a hobby farm surrounded by a menagerie of animals from a young age. Everything from chickens and goats to rabbits, cats, and dogs, and the occasional bit of wildlife, were welcome in my families home. As a high school student I became increasingly involved in agriculture and milked cows and cared for livestock. This turned into a love that led me to college in rural Maine where I earned a degree in Agriculture and Sustainability, all while working on a dairy farm each day. Currently, I homeschool my two children and am blessed with the ability to work from home. We live on a wooded property and have access to a small lake which is boarded by a wooded dirt road. Additionally, we have a small walking trail system directly on our property. We share our home with a Newfie doodle, Arlo, who is 1.5 years old, a Sulcuta tortoise, and a cat that lives under the bed. We have a large red deck with a fenced in space off of this for easy bathroom access and unleashed roaming space for your dog. I work from home and homeschool my children. Our days have built in flexibility and can be arranged to accommodate the needs of any pet staying with us. We enjoy time outdoors, and can often be found working remotely or “out schooling” from our backyard or a hiking trail. In our home, the pets are people too (and we will narrate their thoughts based on their expressions 🤪). Pets are allowed on the furniture and in all rooms. We have a large front porch for slow mornings and evenings that stretch well past sunset. We also have a large deck in the rear which has a fenced area off of it to allow plenty of space for unattended bathroom breaks or unleashed space to roam. My children are well versed in animal care and also understand giving space to a new animal, calm energy, etc. I will always setup a meet and greet prior to booking to ensure everyone feels comfortable and welcome. Medications can be distributed, and special diets can be managed.

She has her own dogs which are very well taken care of and better trained than my Bara, mine is an only-puppy so it helped with socializing her! About: I used to hate cats when I was a kid until I got my first cat, Sombra. She was found on the side of the road as a kitten by a friend and asked if my mother and I could take her in. I was hesitant at first, but decided to give her a chance. 9 years later, and I love her to death, despite her feisty attitude. Most recently,2 years ago, I found 2 more black kittens in an abandoned building, a brother and sister. We took them in with the intention of fostering them until they were old enough to adopt out, but unfortunately, since black cats aren't popular, no one wanted them. I decided to keep them for myself, and now Milan and Marcille are happily living together, with Sombra. (all of my cats are indoor cats)

I have a part time job, but if you let me know ahead of time I will not schedule myself to work and be available to take care of your pets. “Jule was a God-send for me while I was on vacation! She made sure their food and water was filled, scooped the litter boxes, swept up around the litter boxes, and stayed and played with the kitties for awhile. She took lots of pictures to send to me while I was away. My white cat, Tigger, hides whenever anyone comes over (he only stays out for me) and she had pictures of him laying on the couch!!! About: I have had pets all my life! Cats and dogs! I currently have two labs. I am comfortable of taking care of dogs of any age or size. One of my dogs is currently on medication so I’m comfortable with giving dogs medication if needed! I work a full time job and have my two girls to take care of. I would be able to take care of your pets before and after work or on the weekends if I have availability! I will not be taking care of pets in my home at this time due to having two dogs of my own. If I take care of your fur baby they will be too. I currently work Monday through Thursday. Some Fridays as a make up day. I have three days off and I am free to take care of any of your pet needs. I live in an apartment. We go on frequent walks and play games inside when the weather is bad. My pup gets all the attention she wants, she goes on walks whenever she wants. When we first got our dog, I was only 3, so I have grown up around dogs and am very comfortable with small or large pets. I have taken care of other pets for neighbors, friends, and family when needed to walk, feed, bathe, or just take a quick visit to check in! I am currently taking summer classes, but have a lot of free time being home from college for the summer, so I can be available any day of the week for pet care. I am comfortable with early mornings to later evenings. I have a lot of experience looking after my dog for many years and love to walk outside, play catch outside, or do more calm indoor activities with dogs if needed.

This would be in New Tripoli, PA. There is a nearby creek and park that I can take your pet to for walks if you would like. I am also available for drop ins, walks and care within the owners home! In terms of walking and check ins, I can come to your home and check on your pet throughout the day and take them for walks around your home or to a local park if applicable. Right now, I am in between jobs but also commute daily in between New Tripoli and Mcadoo/Hazleton PA. I am looking to pick up some walking and drop in shifts at this time within the locations of those two towns. I have a large fenced in yard for your pet to be able to roam freely and safely. I also have a pet friendly home and neighborhood to ensure safety. I am also able to travel to your home to provide care and make sure they are comfortable in their own environment.

About: I am in school to become a dog trainer. I’d love to have more experience working with dogs! I’ve been around dogs my whole life! I’d love to help care for your fur babies! I also work at Camp 4 Paws in Kunkletown PA and I’ve had experience working in other kennels prior! I am currently doing online school and working full time, my hours are 1-9pm every mon-fri. “This place, just a few miles out from Bath PA, is an old farm in the process of renovation. It served as a perfectly lovely situation for my little dog to have a few days at "camp." There are resident pets who seemed to welcome the visitor ans make friends quite quickly. Michelle kept my " Boots" close to her but pretty free to roam and explore the farm on a long lead. Many pictures demonstrating his happy exploration of the setting were provided. Michelle was very helpful and flexible about the need to unexpectedly extend the stay and handled the details with Rover quickly and effectively. I had no concerns about my pet's welfare and contentment. I miss my little shadow when I'm away, but found him happy, relaxed and in fine shape when I picked him up. I am glad to recommend this place and sitter highly and quite likely to recommend this sit highly and am quite likely to use it again.”

About: Hi! I’m Julie. I grew up on a hobby farm surrounded by a menagerie of animals from a young age. Everything from chickens and goats to rabbits, cats, and dogs, and the occasional bit of wildlife, were welcome in my families home. As a high school student I became increasingly involved in agriculture and milked cows and cared for livestock. This turned into a love that led me to college in rural Maine where I earned a degree in Agriculture and Sustainability, all while working on a dairy farm each day. Currently, I homeschool my two children and am blessed with the ability to work from home. We live on a wooded property and have access to a small lake which is boarded by a wooded dirt road. Additionally, we have a small walking trail system directly on our property. We share our home with a Newfie doodle, Arlo, who is 1.5 years old, a Sulcuta tortoise, and a cat that lives under the bed. We have a large red deck with a fenced in space off of this for easy bathroom access and unleashed roaming space for your dog. I work from home and homeschool my children. Our days have built in flexibility and can be arranged to accommodate the needs of any pet staying with us. We enjoy time outdoors, and can often be found working remotely or “out schooling” from our backyard or a hiking trail. In our home, the pets are people too (and we will narrate their thoughts based on their expressions 🤪). Pets are allowed on the furniture and in all rooms. We have a large front porch for slow mornings and evenings that stretch well past sunset. We also have a large deck in the rear which has a fenced area off of it to allow plenty of space for unattended bathroom breaks or unleashed space to roam. My children are well versed in animal care and also understand giving space to a new animal, calm energy, etc. I will always setup a meet and greet prior to booking to ensure everyone feels comfortable and welcome. Medications can be distributed, and special diets can be managed.

She has her own dogs which are very well taken care of and better trained than my Bara, mine is an only-puppy so it helped with socializing her!
