About: I have a wide variety of experience with all sorts of animals. I’ve had large and small dogs, cats, rodents, amphibians, and lizards, I even had a pot belly pig, sheep & duck as a child. I also volunteered at a local vet when I was a teenager and gained a lot of hands on experience caring for many types of animals! I’m a stay at home mlm and I homeschool my two teenage daughters. They absolutely adore animals as well. I feel this will allow me to spend a lot of one on one time with your pet. Your fur baby will be well cared for and interacted with while they’re here! (Please note that Rover doesn’t consider my children’s ages to count towards, “children being present in our home.” However, I think this information should be available to those who choose to put their pets in my care. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space for your fur baby to run! I also have separate family room in my house where our dogs sleep at night, and that is where I would put crates if they need to be crated at any time.

We didn't know this prior the drop off, but she had a few other dogs in different sizes, including her own dog, so it was wonderful for Dublin to be able to play with them and socialize. Her house has a huge fenced yard, surrounded by a woody area, which I think was perfect for Dublin. This is just a one-time boarding opportunity, as we were traveling through the area, but we'd certainly board our dog with ther again if we could.”

About: I've taken care of pets since I was 13/14. I work with dogs on maintaining training and manners. I enjoy taking care and giving cuddles to dogs and cats. I currently work full-time, but am available after generally after 5 pm most weekdays except Thursdays. I am available all day on Fridays for drop-in visits and/or walks. I have two cats that I rescued from my local shelter, they were the most difficult to place because of prior abuse before coming to the shelter. About: I own 2 huskies. I've volunteered with a dog rescue for 8 years fostering all types of dogs... 46 of them in fact. My husband and I have firefighter/EMT schedules so we're often home during the day, and handle emergencies well. We have an irregular schedule in my house. You will have to check my calendar for availability. We are often home during the week and daytime. My care for my dogs and foster dogs depend on the dog. About: I've been around animals my whole life. From the littlest of fish, to the largest of cows and other farm animals! I have 3 dogs of my own, two Colorado mountain dogs and a medium pittie mix. While Rover's pricing is set up on a per dog fee schedule, I cap charges at $80 per night and $40 per drop in or walk, regardless of the number of pets in your household. In the Rover app, I must modify your booking to be able to do that. I work full-time 9:30am -6pm, Monday -Friday in York, Pa, so I limit my service area during the week to areas between York and New Oxford. I can serve a larger area such as Gettysburg and Dillsburg on weekends. I adhere carefully to client directions about medication, supervision, feeding, and exercise. I want dogs to keep their usual routine as much as possible, and owners to rest assured their treasured pets are cared for as they would. I also have a corgi who is 3 years old, she is the cutest, naughtiest, most complex little thing I have ever met. She has a seizure disorder and requires three different medications every 12 hours. Anyways, the point is I have lots of experience! And I would love to have the opportunity to help take care of your fur babies & give you piece of mind while you go on vacation or have to be away from home. I am willing to take care of animals full time so all day and all night I am available as long as I know in advance. I prefer to watch animals at clients home if possible. I am very focused on making sure animals are safe and happy. I am able to walk dogs safely as well as feed and bathe them or take them outside to use them bathroom as needed. Our dogs are completely happy with no problems while they were visiting Heather and Family. Heather is great at communication and gets back to you right away. We asked for pictures and Heather sent lots of pictures to comfort us knowing our girls were safe and well loved.”

My dog is quite skidish about new dogs, new environments and new people. This was no challenge for Cheryl. She was able to ease my dogs insecurities right away and allowed her 2 dogs time to meet our little girl on her terms and very cautiously. Cheryl was flexible with my drop off and pick up times and communicated with me throughout the entire stay with updates and photos. She also provided my dog with medications for her skin and gave us great feedback on how I may be able to better care for her allergies. Cheryl is a very responsible dog owner and it certainly carries into her ability to care for my dog as well. “Sam is such a wonderful dog lover and knew exactly what our dog Dublin is like and how to introduce him to other dogs. We didn't know this prior the drop off, but she had a few other dogs in different sizes, including her own dog, so it was wonderful for Dublin to be able to play with them and socialize. Her house has a huge fenced yard, surrounded by a woody area, which I think was perfect for Dublin. This is just a one-time boarding opportunity, as we were traveling through the area, but we'd certainly board our dog with ther again if we could.”
