I was especially worried about our dogs as we've taken them with us whenever we've gone on a trip and they wouldn't be able to go with us this time. I found Marleny and Luis as a first time Rover user and was relieved that they were able to care for our two dogs while away. We had a meet and greet, and a few day visits leading up to the trip and all went well. The dogs were with them for 8 days and my heart was at peace knowing they were being cared for in their home. About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life, but cats have always held a very special place in my heart. Since I haven’t been able to have a cat of my own for a while, I’ve happily become the designated sitter for my friends’ cats—affectionately calling them my “furry nieces and nephews.” I’m the person who genuinely gets excited when a cat decides to sit next to me, follows me from room to room, or—perhaps the highest honor of all—chooses to sit in my lap. I love getting to know all of their little personalities and quirks, from the social butterflies who demand attention to the shy ones who need a little more time to feel comfortable. Last year, I also volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I cared for and walked dogs. I’ve taken care of a little bit of everything - dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs - so I’m really comfortable adapting to whatever unique routine your animal needs. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for 10 years and pet-sat for three years. I have experience caring for all the various needs of a dog such as walking, feeding, giving medication, traveling, and more. I am currently working part time so my schedule is open and very flexible. I have open availability anytime, a.m. or p.m., during the week from Monday-Saturday. I was especially worried about our dogs as we've taken them with us whenever we've gone on a trip and they wouldn't be able to go with us this time. I found Marleny and Luis as a first time Rover user and was relieved that they were able to care for our two dogs while away.
