About: I have a wide variety of experience with all sorts of animals. I’ve had large and small dogs, cats, rodents, amphibians, and lizards, I even had a pot belly pig, sheep & duck as a child. I also volunteered at a local vet when I was a teenager and gained a lot of hands on experience caring for many types of animals! I’m a stay at home mom and I homeschool my two teenage daughters. They absolutely adore animals as well. I feel this will allow me to spend a lot of one on one time with your pet. Your fur baby will be well cared for and interacted with while they’re here! (Please note that Rover doesn’t consider my children’s ages to count towards, “children being present in our home.” However, I think this information should be available to those who choose to put their pets in my care. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space for your fur baby to run! I also have separate family room in my house where our dogs sleep at night, and that is where I would put crates if they need to be crated at any time.

About: I grew up with a cat as part of the household. I've taken care of cats since I was 12. I have two cats that I rescued from my local shelter, they were the most difficult to place because of prior abuse before coming to the shelter. Now, they are among the most affectionate and friendly cats I've known. They get along with other cats after a couple of sniffs and a hiss on their part.

I have experience with Rottweilers, pit bulls, bulldogs, etc. so I have no problem caring for the breeds others may not be comfortable with. About: I have always had pets growing up and continue to keep dogs as an adult. I have raised and trained a variety of breeds and ages. About: I’ve always been a huge animal lover and most of my past jobs have involved them in some way! I have been actively looking after cats, dogs, horses and other critters for close to 20 years. I treat every animal and home as if they were my own and have numerous positive experiences from pet owners. If you’re in the Hanover or McSherrystown area and are in need of critter care, please reach out! My work week varies as I currently work four days during the week. The days sometimes differ from one week to the next but I can definitely schedule certain days a week in advance. I am also available late afternoons on the days that I do work. About: I had a family dog for 10 years, from the time she was 2 until she was 12 so I’ve had experience with young and old dogs, I have also had a few jobs such as a PetSmart employee and an Adams county SPCA employee which gave me great animal care experience, I am also studying Zoo and Wildlife Biology at Liberty University. Anything you need, I will do to the best of my abilities! I like to update my clients daily on their pets to ease their mind.

I do all of this in your home so your best bud doesn't have to stress about too many changes while they are missing you. While Rover's pricing is set up on a per dog fee schedule, I cap charges at $80 per night and $40 per drop in or walk, regardless of the number of pets in your household. In the Rover app, I must modify your booking to be able to do that. I work full-time 9:30am -6pm, Monday -Friday in York, Pa, so I limit my service area during the week to areas between York and New Oxford. I can serve a larger area such as Gettysburg and Dillsburg on weekends. I adhere carefully to client directions about medication, supervision, feeding, and exercise. I want dogs to keep their usual routine as much as possible, and owners to rest assured their treasured pets are cared for as they would. I am a background -checked government employee that prides myself on being dependable and trustworthy. I discuss my scheduling limitations with owners to ensure they are getting a sitter who is the best fit for their pets.

My other cat has lots of anxiety, so she requires two different medications to control that so I can also give pills. I also have a corgi who is 3 years old, she is the cutest, naughtiest, most complex little thing I have ever met. She has a seizure disorder and requires three different medications every 12 hours. Anyways, the point is I have lots of experience! And I would love to have the opportunity to help take care of your fur babies & give you piece of mind while you go on vacation or have to be away from home. I am willing to take care of animals full time so all day and all night I am available as long as I know in advance. I prefer to watch animals at clients home if possible. I am very focused on making sure animals are safe and happy. I am able to walk dogs safely as well as feed and bathe them or take them outside to use them bathroom as needed. I am willing to do drop ins or stay in the home for long periods of time if needed.
