This was our first time leaving our 3 year old golden, so we were a little apprehensive until we met Ashley and her 2 great dogs. We were gone for over a week and we never worried about our dog; we knew she was a good hands and getting lots of attention and great care. Ashley sent us pictures, videos, and updates. This was the first time Lily really had extended play with other dogs plus Ashley's kids; it was clear our dog was happy, safe, and probably didn't want to leave :-) Couldn't have asked for better care or a better experience. About: Though I have less experience with cats, I still love and care for them the same! Most of friends have cats so when we hang out I’m almost always playing with their fur-babies. This past year I lived with a cat for the first time and I learned so much more about cat’s body language, behavior, and affection. Despite being my roommates cat, I loved and cared for her the same, making sure to play, cuddle, and pet her everyday! I would also help feed and water her, and make sure she was in good hands when my roommate was away.
“Dana did a phenomenal job with our three house cats -- including an insulin-dependant diabetic -- AND our ferals whiie we were away for three weeks. Our 20-year-old was put on insulin about 10 days before we were due to leave and our regular cat sitters backed out because they were uncomfortable with giving shots. I don't know what we would have done if we hadn't found Dana through Rover. Dana was highly experienced with injections, understood each of our cats' peculiarities and also offered to continue feeding the ferals that we've been doing trap-fix-release with. She sent pictures every day. I never had to worry about the kitties the entire time we were gone. If I could give her six stars, I would.”

About: I have grown up with pets as a child to the time I came to college. In my childhood and early teen years, my family has owned a cat. In my mid-teen years, my family decided to own a dog! I have also volunteered at an animal shelter while in high school! I work full-time as a caseworker worker and I am looking for a second means of income that I love. I love meeting new people and their pets! I am able to ensure they have food, water and have gone potty before I leave for work, check in with them while on my lunch break and enjoy their company after work! We let my dog roam around in the house most of the time, however if we will be gone for an extended period of time (day trips), we will put her in a crate with a blanket, food, water and a toy to play with along with the television on in the background.

About: I’ve always loved being around animals, and pet sitting has given me the chance to spend time with so many wonderful pets. Whether it’s dogs, cats, or other unique animals, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. When it comes to walking our furry friends, I’m always extra cautious of keeping leashes on them. About: Hello! I have worked at a boarding kennel for 5 years and have volunteered at the Humane society for 2 years as well. I am comfortable with everything your pet brings to the table! About: I have taken care of two large breed dogs for over a year. I brought them into my home when they were puppies, and cared for them as they grew into adult dogs. For dog walking, I am able to walk one or two dogs at one time. When walking my own dogs, sometimes I would like to go for a little run just to make sure the pups get the exercise they need. For dog sitting, I like to let the pup(s) out for plenty of bathroom breaks. I will do everything I can to ensure that your pet is well-taken care of. I will be sure to provide a good amount of playtime for your pet to make sure he or she is having a good time! I'm currently working a shift evening schedule on Thursday-Saturday, so I have plenty of time during the traditional work week to look after your pets! I have a fenced yard and would love to spend time with your dog or cat! I would love to play games with your pet, take them on walks, and will be incredibly watchful over them to make sure they don't get into trouble.

I have raised bottle-fed kittens/puppies. I can administer oral, ophthalmic, aural, topical, & injectable medications to a variety of animals. I can care for farm animals as well!
