About: They say grief is love with no place to go, so since my senior Belgian Malinois passed away, I've been fostering dogs and would like to get into dog walking. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages. I have pet-sat for family and friends as well. I currently have a very flexible schedule. I am generally available during daylight hours Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and 5 PM or later Tuesday and Thursday. Before or at the start of our first walk, I'd like to get to know your dog's preferences, triggers, and typical walking habits and routes. I suggest treats for positive reinforcement if working on socialization and a slip lead to reduce pulling. A safe, enjoyable outing is my priority for your dog.

I have 2 small dogs who I currently take out every 2-3 hours. I am a dedicated dog momma that prioritizes them, making pet care a daily routine. I adjust to the temperament of the dog. It's important to make them feel comfortable in the home at all times. I let my dogs graze, with food and water available to them at all times. But this can be adjusted to your pups needs. About: I couldn’t imagine life without dogs. I’ve grown up with a dog or two my entire life and they are truly family, and treated as so. I’ve cared for my own, in addition to family, friends and neighbors animals as well. I’ve dealt with puppies all the way to senior dogs, giving medications and special care. “This was first time Timmy, our 5 year jackapoo, was ever away from home without us. Timmy is very much attached to us and we’re very protective of him. My mother-in-law just turned 100 and my wife arranged a large family gathering for a 4 Day Florida celebration where her mother resides. We scheduled a meet snd greet with Amy and Patrick, Timmy and ourselves. We immediately felt that Timmy would be in good hands and Amy and Patrick disappoint. We received pictures and videos daily of Timmy on walks, playing and at bedtime. They followed our directions for feeding and treats to the letter! We highly recommend Amy and Patrick if you are looking for loving and caring folks to take care of doggie while you are away. They’re the best!”

About: I truly believe that pets are part of the family and am here to treat yours as my own. I am the first person my friends turn to when they need a sitter, and have both hosted dogs in my house and stayed with them in their own. I also enjoy pet visits and walks! I work as a teacher, so most of my availability is on the weekend and during summer months, although I am available for evening visits or walks during the week. I have a large fenced in yard that is great for running and playing and live in a neighborhood ideal for walks. I have a large crate available, if your dog’s routine includes crating. My own golden retriever would love to be friends with and keep your pet company! While I allow pets on my furniture and beds, I will follow the rules established for your pet. Your pet will receive plenty of love and attention!
“We left our two dogs (one puppy!) with Chelsea for a week and a half. She was amazing and made them feel at home away from home! They were obviously happy and well cared for. We loved getting pictures. This was our first time with a pet sitter rather than going to a kennel. We will definitely book with Chelsea again.”
